Spicey is gone

So sorry for you loss. We had to make the same decision for two of our pets that had cancer. Even though our heads tell us it's the right thing to do...it doesn't make our hearts feel any better.

I am so sorry! My daughter had to do the same to her 15 year old Bussie last week. We were all there and it breaks your heart. He went into congestive heart failure suddenly.

I'm so sorry to hear about Spicey. He was a fortunate cat to have such a loving and caring person as you, Pat, to look after him and give him such a good life. I know from personal experience just how difficult it is to let one of our fur babies go, even when you know it is their time. I hope the passing of time will help to ease your pain.

I'm so sorry to hear this! We had to put our beloved Boris down after Thanksgiving last year for the same reason. My DD, 11, read a poem this morning at her school that she wrote after he died. I cried. I will reread it when I get home this evening in memory of your Spicey.

I'm sorry for your loss. Our pets give us so much and we love them so - losing them is heartbreaking. When I lost my Muffin seven years ago, a friend told me "that lump in your throat will eventually go away". He was right but I've never stopped loving and missing her. Spicey is looking down on you now...take good care of yourself.
