yeah. I understand that but imo the point is you PLAN before you get there ( eg AP rates, how many times do you think you can walk into AKL and get an AP rate for that night? ) and can't get the info you need to do that..those of us who live far away have no way to get an activated pass till we get there, that is not our *choice*, we *can't* get one and so basically can not use the site, or the benefits, till we get back from our vacation so ,unless we go back again in that same year, tough for us.
someone said they used to only make that site available to Florida AP holders which makes even less sense since they probably will have the opportunity to return a lot more than someone driving or flying 1000+ miles and may only go for a few days at a time rather than a week or two. if they can't use an AP rate for 2 days, that is a lot less than not being able to get it for 7-14...once again those rates are listed as a''benefit" of an AP by Disney. the rates and admission are only going to be good for a year no matter how long you can access the site for. if you buy your voucher a long time ahead you still get 365 days of use in the parks ect and still don't know the rates ect till disney releases them. it's not like you are getting something extra, you are just getting the same thing anyone else who paid the same price for an activated AP gets
