Special DVC Preview?

I just booked a special preview in the CR for the BLT tour. It is for the whole family with characters, etc. Has anyone done this before? I am more interested in OKW but I thought what the heck, while I am there might as well do something fun for the kids as well....I hope!

I also booked the special preview of Bay Lake Tower for July 9. I have never seen DVC do something on this scale before at a new resort. I am hoping that we will have a preview of the new building, pool area and its surroundings.

Nope, I'll be there on the 11th at 7p. I hope it is nice. I am really considering the DVC but I have SOOOOO many questions. This is probably the best way to get them answered.

If we had only gone a little later in june and bought then. I wanna see it really bad. I'm ready to go home!! My husband joked with my mom that we would probably never get into our home resort when we went now and i happily informed him that we are booked for our "HOME" in feb already. showed him huh?

We got our invitation on June 15th, and are going to the preview on July 24th at 7 PM. Just interested in seeing what the new place looks like. We bought 325 points back in the first year of the DVCs opening. Would never buy any more points, what with the way Disney is running the thing the last few years.

This sounds like the Boston road show they recently did. It was fun. They gave away DVC Mickey Ears, binoculars, luggage tags and a leather portfolio book embossed on the front. Everyone got these little key pads for an interactive session and there was also a group that sang that were pretty good. There was an area to have people watch the kids where they played and colored. At the end they brought out Mickey and Minnie for a dance party. There was cheesecake, fruit, biscotti, pretzel sticks, marshmallows, coffee, lemonade and iced tea. Mickey and Minnie took turns coming out on the dance floor to dance with everyone. Then there were stations with Cinderella and the Fairy Godmother and Aladdin and Genie for pictures. Of course, they had great deals for adding on as well. It was really a good time and we couldn't resist but add on. It sounds like in addition, you may be getting a tour of BLT - that is really cool!! Enjoy

I signed our family up the other day, after receiving the AP email. But I didn't write down our date and time, thinking it would be on the confirmation that I printed out. It's not.

Anyone know how I can find out our date and time? I tried the same link, but it's just for registration.

Also, does anyone think there will be some special incentives for attendees? We're still looking for that add-on....

So jealous. Bought blt a few weeks ago. Here at wdw now heading home tomorrow. Missing preview by a day.

My family and I are attending the preview tomorrow (June 29) at 3pm. we aren't in the financial position to purchase any additional points on our membership, but we are very excited to see the inside of BLT.

I will take some camera phone photos and give everyone an idea of what they are offering after we attend tomorrow evening.
