Does anyone know of any special treat/time for boys who will be 3 and 5 when we go? I want to take our daughters to do BBB but I want my boys to be able to have something equally 'just for them'. My one son isn't old enought for the pirate cruise or I would do that.

Thanks!

The BBB does do a boys "cool dude" style. Or the barber shop in MK will give them hair cuts and streak their hair with colored gel.

We just got back, and the boys did the build your own light saber, it was OK, the lady working the station wasn't someone that should be working with children, even my kids comments on how mean she was! BUT I have heard GREAT things about the Pirate Cruise, we didn't do it because it only goes to age 10, and my 6 year old didn't want to go without his brothers.

Hope that helps a bit!

Some fun things to do with boys: (and girls)

Take them to the campground-animals, campfire, etc.

Take them pole fishing at POR

Build a Dino or lightsaber

Haircut at MK barbershop

Take them to DisneyQuest to play games

Let them play as long as they like in the splash areas

Get their face painted

Check out the water parks and/or mini golf

When you exit the Star Wars ride in Hollywood.

It is at the front of the store.

My 2 sons have always loved to play in the arcades in WDW - either at the resort or inside Toy Story Pizza Planet in DHS. Yor sons are pretty young, but if they like arcade games take them for lunch at Pizza Planet & give them each $10 to blow on whatever games they want!

Where can you build the lightsaber?

They have one in Downtown Disney I think...maybe Once apon a Toy?????

I took a picture of it.....It may have been in the stores in MK. The main street Emporium.

I was only in Downtown Disney and MK so it's got to be in one of those two. The more I think about it the more I think it was in DD, Someone with some more knowledge....will know for sure.

Don't you hate it when you can't even remember last week.

My boys, ages 3 and 6, went twice last year. They loved it!! Some things that they liked best:
- meeting all the "boy" characters like Power Rangers, Incredibles, Buzz/Woody, Cars. DS3 favorites were Little Einsteins.
- they loved pulling the sword out of the stone at MK behind carousel
- they liked boy shows like Indiana Jones show and Lights Motor Action at DHS
- got their picture taken at Star Tours gift shop where their faces were cut out and put on jedis with light sabers - very cool
- got their picture taken of them flying with mickey over the castle at ImageWorks at epcot
- playing at the arcade at the hotel and at AK
- having glowsticks at night parades/shows (also can be used as a lightsaber)
- shooting the guns at FrontierLand shooting arcade
- doing the Jedi Training Academy and watching Pirate Tutorial
- posing with Zurg in the jail bars as you exit Buzz ride at MK
- playing at lego store at DTD and seeing all the lego sculptures
- swimming in the pool

Here's a few photos, see my Oct trip report for other photos with my 2 boys and things we did.

Thanks for this idea. I hope we can do this in our next trip.

Have a nice day. :)
