Yup....looks "purdy" too....the pink is really KEWL.....still trying to find all my programs to load onto it...had to buy a book for Office 2007....all the programs look sooooooo different....haven't actually had a chance to really play around with it yet...but might now this weekend...see below...

Ahhh....
"Times are rough,
I've got too much stuff.
I can't explain the likes of me"

Enjoy the spring cleaning Kid.

Well....it looks like spring cleaning will have to wait.....we are just home from spending almost 4 hours at the emergency department....Mom fell just after lunch and broke her right pinkie at the joint where your finger joins onto your hand...they splinted it for now but we have to see a plastic & reconstructive surgeon on Tuesday.....what a way to get out of spring cleaning!!!!!

O.K. caught the Buffett. Song is by James Taylor.
Ooooooh Mexico. Yes, I gotta go. Soon.

Yep. Nice thing about RM they play a lot of stuff for us "old farts"(not my words).

The Tortola cruise would be nice, but there is only so much vacation time. We may use a big chunk the first of the year.

The basement is looking good.:thumbsup2

Hope everyone has a great day! The girls and I are heading out to WDW tomorrow and will be back next Sunday evening . . .

Hope everyone had a Happy Easter!

last night cooked some shrimp + scallops on the grill. Had them "soaking" in orange juice, cilantro, lemon zest + garlic. First time I tried that, and they turned out good. I poked myself a few times with the wooden skewers though! :lmao:

Got up with the full moon this morning at 5:00 to hide Easter eggs! Didn't need a flashlight this year! :goodvibes I was awake at 5:00, but by 7:00, my eyelids were sagging. Had a great Easter breakfast with Joe making French Toast and scrambled eggs! Yum. Then at 3:00 we were over to Joe's brother's for a HUGE lunch. Gotta take a break from eating this week. ;)

Instead of basement renovations this weekend, we had Easter basket creations. My theme was Spring Cleaning (instead of chocolates). They were fun to put together.. all 15. Leslie! Could have used you at Walmart pushing the cart as I loaded it up! :rotfl:

Elaine! :lovestruc ENJOY your new pc. We had pc upgrades and relearning Word + Excel was frustrating... EVERYTHING is different.

MARGARET! :sad2: Oh No! Hope all goes well with the doctor's visit.

Julie! ENJOY WDW! :yay: How long will you be there?

Elaine, we know all about too much stuff! We still have boxes in the basement that we have not unpacked because we have no place to put the stuff. I do not think Scott has ever thrown anything away:lmao:

Margaret, take care of that hand, hope your appointment on Tuesday goes well.pixiedust:

Sounds like everyone had a good Easter! We spent the weekend with my brother and family and also attended a surprise 80th birthday party for my brother's MIL. Lots of good food this weekend!

Georgie, we watched Enchanted on Saturday night, too! What a fun movie!

Margaret, hope your appointment goes well. Elaine, take good care of her!!

September's getting closer!!!

"Too much stuff" I know ALL about that!!! I can't find anything anymore since everything is "in a bin in the garage somewhere" at the moment. :confused3

Scott and I are a lot alike in that regard as far as never throwing anything away... .. we are ARCHIVISTS!!! Not pack rats... but ARCHIVISTS!! That's my story and I'm sticking to it :rotfl:

HAPPY DYNGUS DAY!
This evening's menu
Polish Sausage
Mashed Potatoes
Egg Noodles
Green Beans
No hard-boiled eggs or cabbage.:scared1:
Maybe a beer.
Do have the willows handy.:goodvibes

Oh yeah, Bill's in town.
If I grow up to be president, I wann be just like him.:lmao:

Mine too.

Hoppy, I mean Happy Monday everyone! Just a post from your professional Pack Rat, I mean Archivist (really--we work at the National Archives) and I am flattered that others are using the term Archivist as well:) I started making the FE gift bags this weekend----do I make one for every cabin listed on our roster or one per person? I'll need to order more leis for everyone and since they don't fit in my gift bags---I was thinking that I can hand them out at our sail-away party on the ship---Is this a god idea? Please let me know:)

As to making my own FE---well, I did get a sewing machine for my birthday in January---and I did watch the instructional DVD that came with it---and I do have all of the materials---and the instructions for the FE---now I just have to put it all together---too bad waving a magic wand won't work:sad2:

I just want to say a belated "thank you" for the pictures and endorsement of the Romance Package---I added it to our reservation---only 3 more payments to AAA and we are good to go! Except for buying a new car so we can get there from here. Sigh.

As much as I try to hide behind the title of Archivist, I'm a true blue Pack Rat! :lmao:

I really don't know how it all happened... I just turned around one day and the basement, garage, guest bedrooms + attic were FILLED! :confused3

I would post some pictures, but Joe would disown!;)

I'm glad I'm in such good company with everyone! :thumbsup2

The new sewing machine sounds like fun! As far as the "gifts", that's up to you. On one cruise, I did one for everyone, including babies too! On this one, it may just be per stateroom. It's whatever you want... or don't want.
