Just got some great test results!

Had to have a skin sample taken a week ago to test for abnormal cells! With the history of cancer in my family background, as well as my own, I knew I wanted to deal with this as quickly as possible...

The test came back clean... the sample was benign!!!

I am so grateful!!!

That is great news!

UPDATE ON MOM....

She is scheduled for emergency surgery on Thursday morning...according to the reconstructive surgeon she broke every bone in the pinkie and he has to cut open her finger and put all the bones back in place like a jigsaw puzzle. Said she might also have some pins....I can't believe that they will be doing this type of surgery as "day surgery".....I guess I can add Nurse Nightingale to my job profile along with Cinderella!!!!!!!

Good luck to your mom, our prayers are with her. I had a similar ordeal with my foot. The scariest part was when they stamped my leg with a smiley face so they knew which one to operate on...

Funny now, not so funny at the time.

I think I did something smilar before one of my surgry, I used right and wrong it was on my shoulder. I know soemother stuff that has been sone but can't share here.

Margaret do take care. You got a good home nurse.

Up early here in Denver, flight to ATL today, staying with my sister. Will be good to see them. Sunday is the ING Georga 1/2 marathon. I have been tasked by another forum and web site with getting a picture of the Disney Medal they will be giving out if you do the WDW 1/2 or full and the DL 1/2. Film at eleven

SURGERY UPDATE

Sorry for the delay in posting...it has been a very long day....According to the reconstructive surgeon, Mom's surgery went well. Apparently, she didn't just break all the bones in her pinkie...but she shattered most of them. The surgery took longer than expected and Mom currently has some pins in her pinkie....I guess they will come out at a later date. She is in a great deal of pain (even Tylenol #3's aren't doing anything to take the edge off the pain ). We both tried to have a nap after we got home this afternoon so we could stay up to see the finale of Celebrity Apprentice.

Thanks everyone for your well wishes, it means a lot to both Mom and I.

Went on and on about her performing with Jethro Tull.
Especially her doing Led Zeppelin's Kashmir.

So, I did a Google search of her videos. Found it.

I may just have to take in one of Josh's concerts.
Just to see her though.

Lucia is AMAZING!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

She toured with Josh in 2004 on his Closer Tour and again in 2006 on his Awake Tour. Josh has a DVD of his Closer Tour available for sale (the Awake Concert DVD is scheduled for release in April). The DVD is called Josh Groban Live at the Greek....Lucia is on this DVD. She has a solo while Josh has a little break and she performs Bohemian Rhapsody by Queen on the violin....it is soooooooo KEWL. She is funny too...she performs in her bare feet....She is very young and extremely talented.

She has her own CD out it is called Music from a Further Room....It is very, very good. Bohemian Rhapsody is on it. She is supposed to have a new CD coming out but I haven't seen it released yet.
