Lynn, yikes.... the mere thought of a full marathon has me just shaking my head.. LOL But, me, my mom and my sis have all vowed to make it a girls weekend, by doing at least one WDW running event per year.. Hey, i am all about getting the most from my annual pass! Wonder how many people from way up her in RI have annual passes. LOL

We have annual passes in WI and I'm sure Scott & Lynn do it WY.

So we just came back from our anniversary/birthday trip from Disneyland and now I'm ready for our cruise!

It's so funny how a vacation can make you want another! Here are some random pictures that I liked from Disneyland! Oh also I forgot who was doing room tours but if you need at Cat. 6 let me know!

Ok so if third night is pirate night, does that mean that we will miss one of the regular menues and then get one of the normal rotations twice???

Yes, Yes, Yes, a vacation makes you feel like taking another one RIGHT AWAY!

We've had a lot of long weekends. I must say there was nothing like our 2 week one on the PC cruise. We really relaxed then, and really forgot about W-O-R-K!

Now... some people get to take L-O-N-G vacations... It will be 6 more years until I can take a long vacation. I keep chipping away one day at a time.

It's unlikely, that's why they probably will have either the second and third nights or third and fourth nights repeated in terms of dining rooms. My guess would be rotation 1, 2 and 4, pirate menu 3 and Til we meet again on the 5th night or something new.

Sure not us. We just have a few hundred. A little here, a little there and a little more over yonder.

Have not got the DVD yet. They must start with the big point holders first.

Our guide is Gibb McCain. Nice guy. He has helped us out a few times.

Ok, so lots of smart people up here with AP's! LOL Kinda bummed though, both me and dd bought AP's last november, and have NEVER received any mailings, like the lil' AP magazine thingie that my MIL gets.. Don't know why...


Great pics of Disneyland!!! We were there last Feb. and it rained BOTH days we were in the parks.. go figure. So, needless to say, i don't have any fireworks pics, or any great sunny pics..

As for the dinner rotation question, i honestly don't know.. this is only my second cruise.

We just returned from a quick trip over to the Beach Club for the weekend (not for the parks, just for the pool) and things were very strange.

It's the middle of July and the size of the crowds, or lack of crowds, made me think it was early November!

Where were all of the people? Is the low crowd thing usual for the resorts near Epcot? We're locals and have been all times of the year and have stayed at just about every resort outside of the boardwalk area. I've never seen anything like it!

We had no wait for valet or check in. Several CMs were standing waiting for someone to check in. No wait at ESPN for lunch-just walked right in and got a table. No lines in the shops on the boardwalk or in the resort. CMs were able to talk and not be rushed.

There were hundreds-literally hundreds of empty chairs at the pool. We were at the pool around 9 Sunday morning and were the ONLY people there (if you know the pool, we were in the shallow beach area close to the YC). It is a huge pool and obviously we couldn't see the whole thing but in our area we were alone. Around noon the number had grown to about 40. DH asked and pool capacity is 1200. In two days (the majority of time spent at the pool) we never saw one person in the kiddie area.

It did rain for a bit Saturday but not enough to make such a huge dent in the crowd. I called a friend and told her that things looked exactly like a DW commercial-no crowds and no lines.

What do you think....was it the resort? Was it that everyone was in the parks? Was it the date (week after a holiday weekend)? or is it the uncertainty of the economy?

If it's the date, then sign me up for that particular weekend every year!

Cathy, we leave Sunday for a week at OKW. I hope we see lighter crowds than I am expecting. Well, may not. I'll let you know what we find!

We were able to do a LOT in MK on the 4th of July. Of course at night, things were packed on the 3rd + 4th. But, for the rest of our trip the crowds were light.

Just letting everyone know that I have not, repeat, have not fallen off the face of the earth, despite rumors to the contrary.

Gary and I are really looking forward to this cruise. It seems like our last one was 1000 years ago. (The 11 night.)

So, are you all planning anything? I finally found something for the FE exchange. Looks like we'll be spending the good part of a day finding staterooms.
