My Fish extender came today - one of the girls on my 7 day cruise in December made it for me and I LOVE it! You should have seen hubby's eyes light up when he realized it was for our cruise

I am so looking forward to this trip. I ordered some of my FE gift supplies and am picking up another component this weekend at the Jersey shore
I gave up on making an FE and ordered one from gradysmommy on ebay. Can't wait to see how it turns out.
Oh, yeah... I even ordered a grass skirt for all three of us.

We ordered ours from Gradysmommy too. Just got them sat. and they are just amazing. Even Laxdad was excited about them. Now, I just have to figure out a way to attach them so they are safe! I have heard some cases of people's FEs disapearing even when personalized.

To secure the fish extenders, take some zip-ties with you, put the fish extender over the fish, then zip-tie just under the fish, this will mean you cannot lift fish extender over the fish without cutting the zip-tie. It has worked well for us on several cruises.

That is why we all as a group Watch those

Little angels that maybe in Questionable Mode.

There are not assigned shifts by deck or anything, but a cautious eye!

But the Zip tie has worked well in the past to keep honest people honest..

not alot of pocket knifes making it thru TSA, these days, some not alot..
and yes it is true that with a good TUG they could be ripped off and destroyed, but with Cabin host there a good part of the day and night the chances are less..

We did have one go missing on the 11 night Wonder cruise, never to be found, Pappy and Liz , Where not very happy, we had a Posse looking for it...
Luckly thru the power of the Dis I was able to find one just like it!
Sent over to UK to replace..
it is not the same as the one that had all her cruise info from prior, marked on it, but it is a fresh start..

Thanks for the info guys! These things just turned out so cute that I would hate to lose them on the first trip! I think we will take some extra zip ties in case anyone needs them. Just got to remember some finger nail clippers or something to get them off at the end!!

As for the FE's - we didn't have any prob's with ours at all, however, we had our last names embroidered on it , so i would think that would be a deterrant in itself -- and to be quite honest, i am a firm believer in what goes around comes around -- so if someone REALLY needed my FE that bad - well -- 'nuff said.
