...Great news on the car front though:) Thanks to the people who sent me a PM, we decided on a 2008 Subaru Outback station wagon. Cars sure have changed A LOT since we last purchased a car---in 1994! No more cassette players, EVERYTHING is digital and it ALL takes getting used to! I figure since we are driving to FL we'll have lots of time to read the manual:) ....

I have some friends and relatives that your purchase makes very happy.:thumbsup2
The plant had slowed down a bit and they had even started making Toyotas to keep everyone employed.

Scott....The Weather is Here, Wish You Were Beautiful:goodvibes

2 + weeks until Buffett, 7 weeks until the cruise.:cool1: :cool1:

Speaking of JB,
Scott or Keet and anyone who has the "Scenes" dvd, a trivia question.

Right before he performs "Pirate Looks at 40", JB works in a famous restaurant.
What is the name of the establishment?
What long running tv program was this place parodied?

Great night here on the deck.
 Wi-Fi.

Tooo EASY, I grew up in Chi Town, lower Wacker Drive is the location, :thumbsup2

Lesley, good luck with the veranda room, remember there are the life boat suites.

See that Scott.. if you play your cards right, you can retire, sell the house and live with friends for a while, earning your keep with remodeling projects... :lmao: bounce around the country.. or countries...and never have to settle in one place again!! :rotfl2: Kind of hard on the pups though... you would have to park them here at Jones Doggy Resort for an extended stay :wizard:

THE 2008 CALIFORNIA COAST CLASSIC BICYCLE TOUR
September 20 - 27, 2008
The California Coast Classic Bicycle Tour is a scenic bike ride offering a fabulous 8 day, 525-mile tour from San Francisco to Los Angeles with a 6 day option to Solvang. The tour is a full-service ride which provides the framework for one of the most incredible experiences of a lifetime. Offering something to both the beginner and the experienced rider, each cyclist will enjoy one of the most beautiful coastlines in the world as they meander alongside famous wineries, majestic lighthouses and quiet beaches.

The California Coast Classic Bicycle Tour benefits the Arthritis Foundation by raising vital funds that enable the Arthritis Foundation to improve lives through leadership in the prevention, control, and cure of arthritis and related diseases. The funds raised also provide educational resources to help adults, parents and children manage their arthritis through community-based services to make life with arthritis easier.

Ok people,
As many of you know Ken trains and rides his bike, for the Arthritis Foundation.
He spent Almost as much time on this as he did helping with the lanyards for this cruise. :lmao:

Many of you may not know the behind the scenes work put into this project.
I think we went threw 8 different designs before it was just right.
I think you will love it!

Ken is not even on this cruise, but has done many lanyards for other cruises we have been on, also known as the lanyard master. :wizard:

We now, would like to help Ken reach his Goal of 10K for this cause, we are not very far away about $2500.00...

Don't be scared, just keep at it. Little steps little steps and when ya look back you did it. Stay healthy, don't over do adn don't foget the importance of rest. :thumbsup2

Looks like everyone is having fun with fish extenders, I will probably use the one that Debbie gave us for the PC cruise, I have used that one for several cruises, and it is packed for the Mexican Rivera cruise we are going on shortly.

Last night, I watched two of the baby robins fly off into the sunset with one of the adults - I thought they were gone, but I just went out to check on the one remaining, and there was another baby in the tree with it, so one that left last night has come back, I still have not seen the other one, it was the largest and may actually be on its own now.

Good luck to you, I was also scared at my first 1/2 marathon (last years Disneyland 1/2), and next year I have signed up for the WDW Marathon! Scott has signed up for the Goofy, we are both crazy!

Okay....well it was too good to be true....apparently "David Lee Roth" was an imposter....and a pretty good one at that...he had lots of people fooled....
