Good morning all! Welcome to the new joiners!! And, Peter its good to hear some positive news about Kirah. Prayers are with you and the entire family.
I need to temporarily "check out" - taking a spring break trip with a couple of the kids and won't be back until 3/26. Leaving in an hour and a half - have been working day and night to get ready to leave - such a pain. Started and finished packing an hour ago ... oh dear!

Anyway, hope you all enjoy the better weather (if you're lucky enough to have some!) and take care. I'll be back with a summary of the Cabin/Stateroom Tour - have much of the work done, just need to it posted, upon return. Pixie Dust to everyone !!!pixiedust:

Have a great trip!

I wouldn't wait too long to add everyone else, especially if you are adding children. They only allow so many adult/children combos on the ship and someone in your family may not get to go.
:thumbsup2 Sounds right. I will have DH add them this weekend. We get our tax return check next week anyways. So, it is not like we will be out the money for long. It will be a relief to have everyone booked. Then again, if there is only room for DH and I, that would be a nice excuse to cruise just the two of us. Nah! I can't do that. But, I can dream. :cloud9: Thanks for the input!:goodvibes

:rotfl: You joke about the packing. But for our last cruise, our home office turned into a cruise packing room three months before our cruise. I bought a lot of items on clearance at the end of summer (suntan lotion, sand pails, bathing suits, etc. . . ). :cool1: It worked out well. So, I plan to start packing for our December cruise in September/October. Am I crazy!?!?!?!

Jennifer, you crack me up. No, you are not crazy. We keep a cruise drawer at the house with everything we take on the cruise each time. As the cruise gets closer the cruise drawer turns into piles of stuff everywhere..lol, ready for the suitcases.

Now, the bad thing is...on the 11 night last September, I packed everything except the cruise drawer :lmao: :rotfl2: :lmao: :rotfl2:
Now you tell me who is crazy..lol.

There will be no hurricanes!

Well, maybe a few we can drink..those are the only hurricanes I like.
:rotfl2: :cool1: :thumbsup2 :cool1: :rotfl2:

That's the nice thing about living in S. Florida. The chances are just as good that a hurricane will hit at home as it will on a cruise - so we're better off cruising and drinking our hurricanes!

In 2005, I was on a DCL cruise that was an Eastern Caribbean. We dodged two hurricanes and had a Western Caribbean cruise instead. Although it wasn't what we ordered - it was still tons more fun than staying at home!!! The weather was never bad (we had beautiful sunshine each day). One of the crossings was a bit rough but otherwise the trip was SPECTACULAR! Now if the same week was spent at WDW, they would have had rain, wind, and general yuckiness. I was awful glad to be on a cruise!

Amen to that! ;)

Here's a little irish coffee recipe to start your day right!

1 shot Kahlua (we use Kamora)
1 shot Bailys
1 shot Frangelico
5 ounces coffee

Top with whip cream and green sprinkles and enjoy!

We just tried this, it is quite good..lol :goodvibes :lmao:

I look forward to meeting you, too!:goodvibes We're in Fort Myers. Are you close enough to buzz a drink over? :lmao:
