Hi everyone, I posted this on the Disabilities board too. I could use a bit of help please. I contacted WDW regarding food allergy assistance and the attachments with the email they sent me will not open. Here is the list they sent. If anyone has them could you please copy them to the post please? My newborn is alergic to milk and soy and while he will not be on our little get away, I am nursing him and will still need to keep to a strict diet for his benefit. Also, if anyone has had any experiences with milk and soy allergy while at the world I would appreciate any help. Thank you

I should have those documents.

Do you have trouble opening up other pdf files? I ask because last year I couldn't open the files either, but my mom and dad's computer could. I found out that I didn't have a program installed to read/open the files. Another poster had problems opening the files also because they weren't sent in pdf.

If you send me a PM with your e-mail I can send you the files.

Check your e-mail the documents should have arrived!

Thank you very much to everyone for helping me! I was able to open the attachments you all sent and Im on my meal planning way!!!!! :thumbsup2

We went for a week with my MIL who is allergic to milk. WDW was great. At buffets, a chef came out and took MIL up to the buffet and told her what items she could eat and what she should stay away from. At other restaurants the wait staff were pretty informed on what entrees she could eat. If they were not sure if something had milk or butter in it, they went back and asked the chef.

My 6 year old son has life threatening food allergies to peanuts, tree nuts, egg, sesame, and whole soy.

We have always had great luck with Disney. They really know their stuff.

When I make dinner reservations I make note of the allergies we are dealing with. There is now a place to ck that off via the online dining reservation service/site. You can also call and tell them and they will notate it with your reservation.

I then also let them know when we arrive.

On our first/last trip-a chef came out to the table at each restaurant to tell us what my son could and could not have. They took us through the buffet line pointing out what was and was not safe.

In fact at one restaurant they (waitress) gave us a hard time about serving us the bread basket as it had an egg wash on it. I kept explaining that my son wouldn't eat it, but that the rest of us wanted bread. I think she was just being super cautious and misunderstood-so we let the bread thing go.

I'd rather they be over cautious in our case.

Just be up front with them and let them know in advance and you'll be fine.
