Rode this on Monday. Was this a seasonal thing where there was much more lighting? You could see the track and which way you were going to turn.

In the past, it was dark which I think makes the ride much more exciting.

Did anyone else think it was overly light in there with the flashing red, green, and blue lights?

Was the People Mover running at the time? If the People Mover stops for more than a minute or two, they turn on the lights over the track which causes Space Mountain's track area to be more visible.

Yes, it was running.

It was definitely intentional strobe lighting-- I just didn't know if it was permanent or seasonal.

It’s the Christmas theme that was done for the parties. Nothing permanent.

Rode during the Christmas party, was so light you could see all of the track in the building which definitely detracts from the ride. Rode during the Halloween party where it was much darker than usual and liked that.
