space mountain suggestion...

Just got back from DW and had a observation for space mountain. They should dim the lights more while you are on the ride (turn off the lights) I remember riding the ride when I was a kid and seeing nothing but stars and the green on the side of the cars. Now you can see the support beams for the track and actual lights. It kind of kills the theme I think.. Anyone else feel the same??

Yep, I couldn't agree more. I also want the orignal cars back again. It just dulls the experience to sit in different seats like that. Half the fun of being a parent is being able to SEE the expression on their face and experience the ride with them. The new cars just turn it into a average everyday rollercoaster. I'm just glad I got to take my son on the ride before they messed it up so bad with the new cars.

Not on so much as there is just "more light". I don't know where it comes from but he is right; it's not nearly as dark as it used to be...either that or I've been eating toooooooo many carrots.

We just got back on Saturday & completely agree with you! My husband usually sits in the seat in front of me & more than once, I saw him duck his head, thinking he would 'lose' it! In the past, you couldn't see any HINT of the structure. Wonder why the change....
