I can no longer ride Space due to my vertigo, however, my almost 13 year old wants to so I booked a FP for both her and myself so I can walk through with her until she gets on. Question though, is there a backdoor to get to the area where they're let off the ride? She and I both would rather not have her go through the long pass out until she exits into the gift shop alone. Thanks!

Yup, they'll direct you to wait at the unloading area. I believe there are 2 areas so pay attention to which train she gets on, and ask the CM which side you should wait- but both exit through the same spot. You can meet her there and then go together through the long exit halls and gift shop.

Awesome thank you so much!

Just, FYI, all rides will let you wait and then exit, but some will not let you wait right at unloading. Space Mountain will because there is a large amount of space, but on Test Track they will direct you to move down from the platform - the earliest spot you could wait would be the room with the results screen. Big Thunder and others will also direct you off the platform, so just be aware. The exits all funnel pretty directly though so you should be okay.

All ride queues have a 'chicken exit' option right before you enter a ride vehicle. Many are after pre-shows so you can enjoy those with your group too.

thank you - Space is the only ride she'll have to go on alone. :)

yes but wasn't sure if the chicken exits means you have to leave the attraction...as Brian stated above, some are, some arent. Fortunately Space isnt :)

I do this on Space most of the time now because I really can't handle riding it anymore. Once you get to the ride loading area, let the CM know your child is a party of one and then exit down the ramp which leads to the ride unloading area which is directly one floor below the loading area. There are two sides, but as long as you stay on the side of the ride your child got on, you will be in the correct unloading area.
