I am a huge scrapbooker, and was wondering what kind of things you have come across at the parks to bring home.
thanks!

I bought two albums...a regular one and a special one for the halloween party. I also bought some stickers. I also know that they have a scrapbooking store in downtown disney.

Besides buying stuff, what about free things.......coaster? Restaurant cards?
Any other fun stuff like that?

At POP's food court (and I'm sure many other food courts throughout WDW) -near the bakery type items (cookies, muffins) there were tissue paper dispensers (that you would use to pick up the bakery item of your choice so you're not touching it with your hand). Well, they are VERY CUTE - tissue with red Mickeys all over it - I used two pieces and made a checker-box background (plain red in upper left, Mickey shapes in upper right, Mickey shapes in lower left, plain red in lower right) on my 12 x 12 piece of paper for a really cute page.

I got them awhile ago, so I'm not certain they're exactly the same - but check them out just in case.

Ask for an extra resort map that is not written on.
Also, depending on the time of your visit, get any special events park guides. (Food & Wine, Flower & Garden, MNSSHP, MVMCP, etc).

When we stayed at AKL, there were coasters under the drinking glasses with Mickey on them -- I brought a few of those home and used them as background on one of my pages...I also make sure to pick up an extra copy (or 2!!) of the map of whatever resort I'm staying at

I've scrapped store receipts, cocktail napkins and drink stirrers. Wristbands from special events.

In my backpack that I tour with, I carry one of those USPS flat priority mailers to put stuff in as I go so it doesn't get too wrinkled.

Then I use my trip report as the story when I make the book.

I have kept all the items that the others have saved and...I have even kept a wrapper from a Mickey Ice Cream bar :mickeybar ...it was a special occasion and I put it next to the pics of the special occasion in my scrapbook.

I've used the newsletters from the resort as a background. The Donald Duck that my then 6 yo drew at the animation attraction in MGM is also in our scrapbook for that trip.

That is a great idea...I'm going to try it next week on a trip to DC with my DD's 5th grade class & I'll use it in June at WDW!!

Paper menus! On our last trip, both the HDDR and Le Cellier used paper menus, and they made great centerpieces to a scrapbook page.

World Showcase "prize" my daughter received after visiting all the Kidcot stations. It's a cute 8 1/2 by 11 poster with many Disney characters and World Showcase icons.

A deflated mylar balloon. I cut the backside off and cut the front of the balloon to match the size of my page, keeping the integrity of the picture intact. I like the shiny look and have a picture of my DD holding the balloon on mainstreet on the page.

Times guide.

ME booklet. Free luggage tags.

Napkin from POR, our resort. Great for the page with DD and her Mickey Waffles during our final meal at Boatwright's.

Ghiradelli receipt. Awesome for the picture of DD's face smeared in chocolate from her sundae!

Dont forget your room keys and used park tickets oh and the stroller rental cards shopping bags etc Last year I did the VMK questionaires and got the trading cards and used those

placemats napkins wooden nickles
