Ok, so what little things am I not thinking of?!

Leaving in 11 days!

You may want some long pants for cool nights and some activities like
ATV riding. Also maybe a rain jacket, if your windbreaker is not waterproof

We go Aug 6, so make sure you post a report when you return!!

Have fun:woohoo:

Oh I see your windbreaker is waterproof; DUH!

I wear dungarees to fly in, so will have those if needed. I also bought the Purex sheets for laundry that I hope to do before i leave at some point. I think there are facilities in Moab.

I'm not usually too concerned about bugs, but I saw a picture of the Thunderbird with Mule Deer standing on the lawn. Those are the deer that have the Lyme Disease ticks, so I added bug spray to my list.

OK, added bugspray to "pick up list"

Are you bringing nasal spray saline? I saw someone mention in a trip report that they wish they had brought it.

That was probably me. I totally, completely needed it, and wished I'd bought some. I did manage to finally make it to a drug store & pick some up (don't remember which town it was in). It was such a relief when I used it, I almost cried. So yes, I HIGHLY recommend saline nasal spray!!!! That desert is DRY!

I also recommend some kind of something to help carry a water bottle with you. I have a strap that I bought at one of the WDW parks that I took. It was my constant companion. Even though the guides will make sure you have plenty of water, it was nice to have something to make it easier to carry, so that I could have the water with me at all times. Did I mention it was DRY???

Sayhello

A portable air conditioner for your time in Phoenix:lmao:

Just remember that the desert gets cold at night, it's very dry most of the time so think of how that will affect you.

Also the Grand Canyon, Flagstaff are pretty high in the Mountains and it can get really cold there, even in May and June.
Not sure how much hiking you'll do but a good lightweight hiking shoe.

I live in a neighboring state to AZ and UT so I'm familiar with their climates.
Not to mention having been to the same places many many times.

When we did the trip the guides had bug spray when needed. I found good sunglasses a must. Also moisturizing eyedrops were great. Between the dry air and the long days in the sun they really helped.

Hope you have a wonderful trip!
