Southwest sign-up bonus points question

Okay, I got my Southwest Premier Visa today and have started using it. I'm fairly certain when I signed up it was on a webpage that had the 50,000 bonus point offer. But nothing I've seen from them since then, whether emails, on my Chase account page, or the literature that came with the card, mentions this sign-up bonus. Is that normal? I've started second-guessing myself, wondering if I signed up in the right place to receive the bonus points, because that matters, right? Ugh! Can I call them and ask?

Congratulations! We love our SW cards. Our 50,000 point bonus came after spending a certain amount in the first 3 or 4 months. I'd give them a call to ensure the correct deal was applied to your account. It doesn't hurt call at all. Good luck!

Usually sign-up bonuses require around $2,000 to be spent in a 2 to 3 month time period after initial sign-up (though some cards may be different). For our SWA CC it was spend $2,000 in 3 months.

Our SWA bonus pts were awarded way early in comparison to the 6-8 weeks they give as a norm after you spend the minimum amount.

Yeah, the offer I (hope I) signed up for is the one where I spend $2,000 in 3 months and receive 50,000 points. I just haven't seen anything from them indicating I'm actually going to GET that bonus when I reach that spending amount in that time. I guess I expected something in with the card when I got it or an email or something reminding me of that sign-up bonus and I didn't get anything. But maybe that's normal?

I've put in a secure message to them and they sent me one saying they'll respond in 24 hours.

sending them an SM, they will confirm it for you. Next time, its best to take a screenshot of it. For chase, they are pretty good at it. If a better deal comes out within 3 month of you opening your card, Chase will usually match it.

Well that makes me feel better. I trust Chase (I've been a customer for 22 years), but I didn't trust myself. This sounds like maybe if I screwed up (which I don't think I did), they'll apply that deal to my account if I ask.

Chase is usually pretty stable in terms of bonus... i got pretty lucky because 2 of the chase cards i applied for, changed their terms within 3 months of my app, both of them were matched to the higher amount... SM will confirm for you, keep that SM just incase! you should be good!

Chase replied to my SM and confirmed that I have the 50,000 point sign-up bonus! Hooray! And I did archive that message just in case!
Love Chase and Southwest!
