Southwest now open through May 10!

It looks like I can only book non-stop flights on the newly opened dates as well. Anything with a connection gets a message "Flights from AAA to BBB are not scheduled to operate on Saturday, March 24 2007."

Sounds like others are having this same problem.

Howdy! Looks like we could be neighbors! :sunny: Where are you looking to fly out of?

I'm flying from Manchester to Ft. Meyers on March 12th. I couldn't get the computer to give me dates for PVD to RSW for anything around March 12th. :confused3 The computer kept saying that SW wasn't flying to RSW for that time period.

Hey Emmabelle,

Are you going to Spring Training??? So many of us going to Ft. Myers that weekend!!

Well, they finally got Tulsa fixed. Except the rates are yuk. $145 each way, nothing to write home about. I guess I should have plugged Kansas City in right at 10 when they were released and scooped up the $49 rates. Live and learn, eh? I suppose I could continue to watch for the rest of the KC schedule to come out with my fingers crossed that the other flights are at that cheapo rate. I've already wasted most of my day in front of the computer, what's a few more hours, right??! :rotfl2:

Couldn't get my flight home from Ft. Meyers to Providence so I called to ask if there was a glitch. They said they were having problems with the download of new dates and to keep checking back. Did get my flight down from PVD to MCO on the 11th of March non-stop one way for $120. Not good, but hoping for a sale/Ding.
We will be there the 10-18th...I am flying out of LGA :cheer2:

WOO HOO!! Thanks for the heads up! I checked this morning and they were still only at April 9th. I just got 7 round trip, non-stop tickets from Manchester to Orlando for $1,019.20! :cool1: :cool1: :cool1: :cool1: I NEVER thought I'd get school vacation time for $145.xx per person! :woohoo:

A quick question for all you SWA experts. Our dates show internet fares all unavailable for our dates, 4/41-4/28. When they opened this AM, were any available? I hope they didn't sell out in 3 hours :guilty:
I was looking at MHT to MCO. Do they ever open up more seats?

Just seems a little fast to be all sold out.

Thanks,
Debbie

Debbie, there are seats now available from MHT to MCO for 4/21 & 4/27 in case you haven't booked them yet.... 59 or 69.00 each way....

From Norfolk, VA to MCO for 4 seats + 1 infant on my lap = $1110.40

All I have to say is THANK GOD FOR VOUCHERS!!!! With our travel vouchers it brought the price down to $625.10. I guess that's not too bad....a little over $150 per seat.

You people are amazing! If I did not chekc this board, i would have been too late. Thank you so much! I now have tickets for the week of school vacation!!!!!! Wahoo

I'm in Little Rock... so we're kind of neighbors! :thumbsup2

I got 4 on May 3rd Manchester to Orlando for $77 one way! I need to wait for the return on May 13! Any ideas when it will open up after that? I know there is a list out there of prior openings of the schedule.

Congrats...What dates? The flight days/times aren't available for the dates I'm looking for.

My parents and I got an approx $705 round trip for March 14-24th from Providence RI. we were able to get the internet fare for going down and the funfare for the return trip.

This is how we got screwed. We booked our tickets for Manchester to Orlando for 59.00 each, but had to wait until they released the return flights today. Coming home Orlando to Manchester on the date we need is 224.00 each. I'm so annoyed.

How did some of you get such cheap rates? I got a total of $934 four our trip for 4 people and we are returning the week after Mass. Spring Break on a Wednesday, we got a rate of $69 for return and $157 to get there. All the iternet rates were unavailable, I was nervous the plane was getting all booked, or didn't know if those seats just weren't open yet? So I booked it, at least I got a good rate coming home. I"m just hoping for a Ding and go again next year with a credit.

I was lucky enough to be flexible with our dates 1 or 2 days on either side. My first choice of date range was completely "Unavailable" at the lower fares. Luckily, I was able to move the entire vacation back one day earlier, and was able to get the internet fares both ways ($59 down, $69 back) for a grand total of $1019.20 for 7 seats. Ideally, I'd still like to go with my initial dates and will keep my eyes open to see if the schedule opens up any further.

Wow -
Glad everyone got in. Congrats. :goodvibes
I was busy on 11/16 and did not look till 11/17 and freeked out :furious:

We could not get our Saturday flghts 3/31 and 4/14.
So our dream 14 day vacation has been dropped down to 12 days :sad2:

We leave ALB on April fools day 4/1 and now return on Friday the 13th, 4/13
Maybe the airports will be less crowded :rotfl:

So far I have rearranged our resort reservation and moved two ADR's.
Now to find a town car company to use.

Hey! I'm in Searcy! Found any good LR fares?

Howdy! No, I haven't found anything. We're really looking at flying American instead of Southwest, they have better, and more flight times, and fares are about the same.
