Southwest now open through May 10!

So, still no luck with Tulsa to MCO. I tried some other airports and they aren't working either. (seems to affect flights with connections rather than direct.) Called SWA again and they can't pull it up either. I guess that should give me a little hope that no one else is scooping my flights, but I'm still sad about losing the KC deal and don't know how long I can sit at the computer refreshing to see if it will work.

Okay, I'm done with my pity party for now, thanks for listening! :sad2:

I also noticed that there was a large reduction in # of flights available. On the March11 there were only 3 and on the 18th there were four. If I am not mistaken there used to be 5/6 flights per Sunday here.

Couldn't get my flight home from Ft. Meyers to Providence so I called to ask if there was a glitch. They said they were having problems with the download of new dates and to keep checking back. Did get my flight down from PVD to MCO on the 11th of March non-stop one way for $120. Not good, but hoping for a sale/Ding.

Just Booked Buffalo To Orlando For Me And Dh With Tax And Fees
135.60 For Both Of Us. March 17 Non Stop
Coming Back On 4/2 Same Thing So A Total Of 271.20 Now Thats What I Call A Deal.

I Am So Glad I Kept Holding Off Now To Go Ahead And Book Disney

I'm thrilled. I got 217 roundtrip with direct flights from PVD to Vegas and back. I was figuring 300 or so and one or 2 stops. Thanks SWA!!

I am so excited I booked 5 roundtrip tickets from Kansas City to Orlando from March 15-27 for a total of 585.50 :cool1: To top it off the flights are non stop!!!!!!! That price is less than what it was going to cost for 2 of us to fly out of Wichita.
I can't wait for March now

. . .and I can focus on finding resort discounts! :surfweb:

Paid $844 for four, RT from Philly to MCO, 3/28 to 4/6. The 3/28 fare was only $59 or so each - but returning was $139/pp. Oh well, it is for spring break afterall! :cool1:

Ok, I broke down and bought tickets April 28-May5 from Dulles. $645 for 3 of us, so I need to watch the fares for the flight down as it wasn't an internet fare, and hope it goes down. The flight home was only $68!

Tinkbellfan,

If it is possible, we are flying from Manchester to Tampa on the 11th, that was 69.00, but flying into Orlando, it was also 69.00. We are going to fly into Tampa & drive two hours to Ft. Myers.

On the 24th we're flying back from MCO to MHT for 59.00, so a LOT cheaper than PVD....

That seems to be another part of the glitch--anything with connections isn't showing up, only direct flights. My airports have no direct flights, so they don't show up at all. Glad you were able to book your flights though!

Me too, me too!

ST. Louis/Ft Lauderdale/St. Louis 4/7 - 15, total of 181 each. Am thrilled. The non-stops weren't open at that price but we'll waive at micket when we connect in MCO!

I have offended the Southwest gods and they torment me:

Looking for a flight for a non-WDW trip. Tons of "internet 1-way fares" available for the weeks leading up to March 9, but only twice-as-expensive "Fun Fares" for the weeks that just opened up.

So, sure, I can now book my flights. But they are outside my budget. Grrrr.

Just booked spring vacation April 13-21. Only refundable fares left. At 224 per way per person. And I was checking all morning !!!!!!!!! Forget about it at home until now. Does anyone know if more flights will open up at the cheaper rate ???? From Prov to Orl.....

I'd keep checking. With the problem they are having, not all the schedules have been loaded. You may want to got to the schedules section see how many flights are supposed to be offered for your travel days. If there are more flights showing on the schedule than on the booking page, you may be in luck. The last rep I spoke to at SWA said they were continuing to input schedules all day and into tomorrow or however long was necessary. He said, basically, they 'jumped the gun' and shouldn't have extended the release yet. LOL Good luck!

A quick question for all you SWA experts. Our dates show internet fares all unavailable for our dates, 4/21-4/28. When they opened this AM, were any available? I hope they didn't sell out in 3 hours :guilty:
I was looking at MHT to MCO. Do they ever open up more seats?

Just seems a little fast to be all sold out.

Thanks,
Debbie

Oh Alleson,
I just re-read your post, maybe that's the problem with my dates, oh I hope so. I'll just be patient and keep checking. Thanks for the info. :thumbsup2

I'm flying from Manchester to Ft. Meyers on March 12th. I couldn't get the computer to give me dates for PVD to RSW for anything around March 12th. :confused3 The computer kept saying that SW wasn't flying to RSW for that time period.

I got my flight home this morning--$99 one way--that was the cheapest offered. In the past when I checked after work, all the lowest fares were gone.

I will be watching for a Ding.

Thanks, Alleson

I just called Southwest and there are flights scheduled that are not listed as available but the rep thought they would probably go at full refundable price. I guess I will just have to keep checking. This is what makes it fun to book our own travel !!!!!!

It looks like I can only book non-stop flights on the newly opened dates as well. Anything with a connection gets a message "Flights from AAA to BBB are not scheduled to operate on Saturday, March 24 2007."

Sounds like others are having this same problem.
