I was disappointed in flight times...Nothing in the 8,9, 10 am slot so I booked a 0655 flight out which complicates things. But I got it at a decent price and if they add flights later I can change.

Since lots of people ask what time of day Southwest releases their schedule extension, I wanted to note that today (Thur Feb 19, 2015) the schedule was released at 6:15 AM Eastern time.

And I agree with the OP, the flight times were disappointing for me too. We like to fly down to Orlando mid-morning but there was nothing between 7:45 am and 2:25 pm on our travel date! We would have to change our dates to get a better flight time but I'm not sure I could do that now so I guess we're stuck with inconvenient flights at this point.

There is usually a nonstop flight home in the early evening and those no longer exist either.

I think since the merger flights have really changed. I'm a little surprised we have to wait until May 14th to book the next segment of our trip. Thought they might release in April.

Ugh, I triple that. These flight times are horrible. Only nonstop flight coming home is at 8 am and I'm not looking to get up that early. That would definitely put a damper on our last day there. Prices aren't that great either. Where are the southwest flights that I love

nobody is mentioning prices and from where? Are they all the same? the lowest I'm getting $127 either way from PHL to Mco Anything lower? Please post the prices from where

I got $125 and $139 for mid October out of Dayton. Louisville, Columbus and Indy were all higher. The return flight has already gone up from when I booked this morning.

I was hoping for $500 round trip for DD and I in early Oct, flying in on a Saturday and returning on a Friday. Total came to $526.40, Louisville non stop to MCO and back. I really wanted an early a.m. flight down and late pm flight back, so we could get some park time on arrival and departure days, but there was only one non stop flight down, which leaves Lville at 2pm and arrives at 4pm, and one non stop return flight departing MCO at 12:25 pm. Booked one way down and back (it was the same price as round trip) and will keep an eye out for any price adjustment over the next 8 months. Hope everyone gets a great price on their fall flights this morning. :goodvibes

I got $115 (either way) from BWI to MCO. I didn't see anything lower for my days (09/11 and 09/14).

Okay...just checked out the flights from NH to Orlando. The prices are good for me...$ 115.00 each way.The morning flight is a tad early, 6:45 a.m. but I'll take it. I was hoping to catch an afternoon flight home so I could enjoy a leisurely breakfast before the plane ride home....but the only afternoon flight back is $ 80.00 more! So, I will adjust my plans home or I'll suck it up and pay the extra $ to enjoy my morning. I am a November trip....so the times and prices may be different. But...I have been checking various dates and times for the last six months and the offerings seem to stay relatively around the same (at least for the times of the non-stop flights). The non-stop flights are limited to only one and sometimes two times. The prices seem to go up the closer you get to your dates. So as soon as November comes out...I'm booking!

We have a 6:30 am flight out of Pittsburgh ($250 pp round trip). SO early - but at least we'll be at Disney early, too. Our return flight leaves at 8 am.

I feel the same way... booked with points, but one way from Milwaukee to Orlando was $140. Hoping it would be closer to $100. I'll continue to watch it so if it goes down I can rebook. The previous direct flight at 11:20 am is no longer offered so we had to go with 7:35 amo_O

Crazy thing is... flights from Chicago to Orlando are higher than Milwaukee to Orlando. I bet they drop over the next week. I'll be watching like a hawk, for sure!!!

As expected, after full AirTran integration, less NS offerings and higher fares for weeks I book every year out of PIT:badpc:

booked most with points to be flexible, hoping to rebook via cash when the sales start to roll out.

We got flights from BUF to MCO for $99 each way direct flights. Very happy with the price and our flight time to Orlando (8 am departure from BUF), but would have liked a mid-afternoon return flight just to spend a little time at the resort before leaving that day (11:25am return to BUF). We could have stayed until a 7:30pm departure, but both myself and DW have to be at work the next day. Excited to get the planning started now, ADR's can be booked on the 26th.

Wow...great price. You are very lucky! I agree about the flight times...very limited offers. I believe these are the least popular times for folks to fly, so they are usually the best price. Fingers crossed for my flights at Thanksgiving. I know that Thanksgiving day the flights are really cheap! But don't want to leave that day...lol...for sure. So coming home on Saturday after Thanksgiving I'll probably hit the higher prices. It is what it is....not going to let it ruin my vacation, that's for sure!

This is us too. Booking at 6:15am this morning we got $115 /pp at 8:00am BUF to MCO and $99 /pp return. We chose the 7:45pm departure time, rather than the 11:25am time, just to get a bit more time in at our resort that day but we will be tired the next day (4.5 hour drive home after flight :sad2: but at least should not have to deal with TO traffic at that time :-)). We were hoping for a flight home around 1/2pm but no luck. Happy to get good prices though.
Good luck with your ADR's. We can start to book in two days:yay:

Ahh! Please talk to me. I'm getting $99 and $115 home. The $99 is 8:00 which is a little early considering our 4 hour drive to the airport and the $115 is at 11:25am. The $99 flight is at 7:45 PM and we have little ones.

Some of those$127 flights are already $150.

I had to use some of my flight ticket money for unexpected car repair. I won't be able to buy the tickets until next week. I hope PHL doesn't keep going up. If it does I'm flying BWI to MCO. I've been watching their flights for about a year and they don't tend to go up and they have TONS of flight options. 10-20 on any given day and most non stop.

Knocking on wood it stays that way and they don't raise their prices.

We usually book a night at a Buffalo hotel prior to our stay. They include parking for the duration of your trip, breakfast, and a free shuttle to and from the airport. These are great prices, and I would book soon to get those rates. We usually fly back on the late flight, however, this year we have to be at work the next morning, so that is the reason for our earlier departure from MCO.

MY return flight to phl on 9/6 holiday weekend started at $127 in less than an hour went to $150 and now $188.
I know some people got $99 which is great! I have to laugh when others want this also.... I noticed in the past few years they are rare!
Good luck, glad I didn't wait!
