Southwest and Airtran opened flights thru mid-March!

Hey, everyone! I just found out today that Southwest and Airtran opened up flights thru mid-March 2013 yesterday afternoon. Thought I'd give a heads up in case it hasn't been mentioned already!

Now I need to decide if I book now with Southwest or roll the dice and wait to see if the prices drop. Last time I did that, I ended up paying more, though!

I booked last week right after they released the dates to include my trip in January. I checked back yesterday to see if anything changed- my flight to Orlando already went up $44. I'd book soon.

Yes I was just coming on to post that the flights went up in price, I booked my return flight for early Nov last week and was just checking since I got an email from them about last day for the starting at $69 flights. yesterday it was 130 today 142 and in past Tues was their sale start day ??? really crazy since they took over Air Tran.

I just saw this this morning adn tried for my flights in january for marathon weekend. I am SHOCKED how expensive it is - $1030 for three tix! what happened to my cheaper fares with southwest? I used expedia to check other flights and get get $544 for three people on the same days with united - what happened to southwest?
