Some of you know I have had a little problem for the last week or so...
Well I am on the road to getting better As a few of you know I had a little scare the other day. A cyst broke in the base of my neck under the skin on top of my artery. It was a little scary as it was pushing on the artery and could have caused a stroke (or worse the doctor said). She said they could not go in after as it had surrounded a good portion of my neck and artery and she needed to get the swelling down and the infection under control.
Well after a few days of Antibiotics (and 2 hours sleep a night) I went back to see her. And as I had guessed it was worse. She looked at it and said she would be right back. Less than 2 hours later I had a surgeon saying it needed to come out now. Well I am not one to be scared but I was a bit nervous, as everyone was so serious looking. I found out after that it had been absest (about the size of a computer mouse) and if that spread in to my blood stream well lets just say I would not be typing this. It will take about 3 weeks for the wound to heal (no stitches) and that is fine by me Just hearing the words heal made my day.
But I am alive and on the road to a full recovery thanks to my doctor who made a call to ask for a second opinion. I have had this doctor for 7 years and I must say she is the greatest .
Oh a bit of advice When your mom says, stop picking at that Well you should listen I wish I had.
