Sorry, one more Christmas thread...favorite movie

Now that I have Silver Bells ringing in my ears, I'm wondering what everyones favorite Holiday movie is?

Has there ever been a better movie to get you in the true spirit of the Holiday other than 'Its a Wonderful Life?' I pop it in every year and make sure I have a box of tissues handy.

I'm hoping for some ideas for this year...

<b>Miracle on 34th Street</b>...the black and white version! I also like <b>It's A Wonderful Life</b> and watch it every single year with my Mom when we are in Florida!! I adore Jimmy Stewart and will watch any movie that he was in!!

I love all the Christmas movies with Holiday Inn being my favourite. That's the "original" White Christmas movie.

It's a tradition for us to watch Chevy Chase's "Christmas Vacation" at least once, maybe twice, each holiday season. I also like to see "Home Alone", and "The Waltons" Christmas movie, I think it's called "The Homecoming"...it's the one that started the series, with Patricia O'Neal as the mother...it ain't Christmas until I watch those too!!!

I love watching Christmas themed movies, that is what really gets me in the mood! My favorite is the Little House in the prarie...."A Christmas they never forgot", I also watch White Christmas, The Home Alone series 1 and 2, Natinal lampoons Christmas vacation, a bunch of kid movies and on and on. I also like movies that have a little of Christmas in them.... Sleepless in Seatle, While you were sleeping, Fools rush in. THis is one of my favorite activities to do. I wrap presents everynight while watching a different movie!

White Christmas gets my vote! I've loved that one since I was a teenager...I like to pop that one in and watch it while I'm decorating the place up for Chistmas.

And even though it's not really a christmas movie, it does have a pretty Christmasy section in it...Meet Me in St Louis with Judy Garland. She sings "Have Yourself a Merry Little Christmas" and it gets me every single time!!!

Yours, Mine and Ours. It's not a Christmas movie, but it does have a Christmas scene. I watch it every year at Christmastime. I really love that movie. It cracks me up. And it has 2 of my all time favorite actors/actresses in it (Lucille Ball being one of them ).

Another vote for "Christmas Story" ... especially since I grew up in Cleveland. We watch it every Christmas eve (to the point where my brothers shout out most of the lines before the actors!)

My three favorites are Its A Wonderful Life, A Charlie Brown Christmas, and A Christmas Story.

I also love A Christmas Carol (the George C. Scott version) and Christmas in Connecticut.

Come to think of it, I don't think there is a Christmas movie I don't like. I even like A Very Brady Christmas, heh heh.
