SORRY!!! Croc question - Crocs with socks?!?!?

I am an avid crock wearer! I have the new flip flops and the old every one has kind - sorry, don't know the names of the styles

Anyhow....75% of the time I don't wear socks, the other day, I did - NOT THE FLIP FLOPS THE OTHER ONES, my friends made fun of me (we are talking the short "no show" socks), they said Crocs with socks is as bad as regular sandals with socks! I say Crocs with sock is perfectly acceptable but regular sandals with socks is not!

WHAT DO YOU SAY?????

I wear thin "no shows" with mine. It makes my Crocs more comfy(yes, people...these aren't the MOST comfy shoes I've ever worn). I can hardly see the socks when I wear them and I certainly don't think they look anything near as horrid as wearing socks with sandals. You couldn't pay me enough to do that.

I wear socks with mine. The no show or just barely to the ankle ones. My feet sweat too much to not wear them. I do not care what they look like. They are confortable and I will wearsocks no matter what!!

We just got home from WDW last week. We did see people wearing crocs, but not nearly as many as I thought I'd see after reading the DIS posts. The majority wore them with bare feet, but yes, I did see people (men and women) wearing them with socks of all kinds. NO ONE....repeat...NO ONE cares what you have on your feet (or anywhere else on your body) in WDW! Wear whatever is comfortable!

Yes, I admit that I wear Crocs with socks (the no-show lowcut ones) to the everlasting horror of my DD!
But really, when my feet sweat then the Crocs start to rub the top of my foot. With socks, no problems!

So funny that this came up, we are going to Disney Dec 5-10 and I just told my family "I plan to wear socks with my crocs" It might be chilly and my crocs are not only comfy but also Mickey Crocs, if would be sac-religious not to wear them in disney

Your friends are full of it. I see everyone go through here with crocs and probably 1/2 of them wear socks. It's not like it's black knee socks with your leather buckle sandels.

I wear the no shows with mine all the time and I've never even gotten a second look. I say wear your socks and the next time they say something remind them it's not 1970 and if they still find 30 year old fashion rules a necessity then you'll just stay in the new millinium thank you very much.

I wear my Crocs almost every day and I rarely wear them WITHOUT socks. I wear ankle socks, usually with a design that matches what I am wearing or plain white. The kids in my class love when I wear my tinkerbell or minnie socks. I could care less what people think of my footwear. I'm the one who has to be comfortable; if you don't like my shoes, you don't have to look at them. LOL

Only with jeans. During the summer, I wear the Athen flip flops all the time, so no need for socks. But once it gets cooler, I put on my socks and then my Beach crocs and I'm ready to go.

I just hate when it rains or there is a dusting of snow, as no matter how careful I try to be, my socks always get wet.

Sometimes with socks. Sometimes without. When it's too humid and my feet are sweaty, I tend to get "hot spots" if I don't wear socks.

I think crocs with socks if fine if you're wearing pants. The only time socks should be worn with shorts is if you're wearing sneakers

I love wearing my crocs with socks. Very comfy. I have the clog type crocs (can't remember the name) with no holes in the top. (of course, I also have a pair of disney crocs!)
