Sora in the parks?

Anyone know if you can find Sora in the parks? The kids are big into Kingdom Hearts again and asked me this. (search is showing no results)
Would love to know where to find Sora and K-Hearts gang if at all. Thanks.

About the only place you will find Kingdom hearts stuff is in the Japan Pavilion Store. It is not represented in the parks, at all.

Bummer. I thought I had read somewhere he was at MNSSHP and that's what the link states too, but that was some years ago! Figures my kids would want to me to try to find the impossible for them! Oh well... since we're going in Sept. maybe we can make it to an MNSSHP and my son can dress up as Sora himself - sounds like that's the closest we'll get to Sora in the parks!

I felt bad about this too. My nephew was really excited about getting Kingdom Hearts stuff when we went in 2006, but we couldn't find it anywhere! We didn't even think of looking in the Japanese Pavilion! UGH!

there is not much, there are some action figures, and I think that was it.

My son is so into Sora...
WE always go to Japan to look for the action figures.They are considered collectible and a little pricey.But we still go on the Sora hunt, because they are so difficult to find.

While at MNSSHP 10/2007 there was a GUEST dressed as Sora.The costume was soooo amazing.My son had me take a pic, so that we could recreate it next year for him!!!

Of course, I struck up a conversation with him as he posed...
He ordered the costume on line.(Ebay)
You have to send very exact measurements, as it is custom made.

Anyone with Sora info, please share!

Well not really Sora info, but my son made a really cool Kingdom Hearts shirt design last year for his spring break trip. He got alot of compliments on the shirt and was asked where he bought it at least 100 times. I can see if he still has the design on his computer if you want.

Kingdom Hearts questions come up on this board every few months or so and I always post in the threads

The last thread I could remember asked if there was any merchandise in the parks. Back then there wasn't but it seems like some of you are seeing it in the Japan pavilion now? Good to know. It seemed like Disney either didn't have the license to sell the merchandise in the parks or just chose not to. But I hope they put more stuff in.

It just seems like they could do a LOT with Kingdom Hearts in Disneyworld (or maybe Tokyo Disneyland) if they wanted to. Its such a huge franchise in terms of popularity and money, it just seems odd they don't try to take more advantage of it. I don't know what kind of role Squaresoft has in holding the rights to the characters though but it would make sense for Disney to either hold some or buy some to feature in the parks. A KH ride would be awesome! And I'd be excited beyond words if I ever saw a Moogle walking around Disneyworld

Here it is

I printed it on dark transfer paper, cut the transfer out and then ironed in on turned out really great.
When I ask him about the design he said "that was fun to make. I might make some more" so if he does I'll post them for ya

The Kingdom Hearts characters have not been out since 2004.

Oh wow, I didn't even know there used to be a Sora character out in the parks. O_O I'm a big KH fan, so now I shall make add Sora to that "rare characters to find" list. My nephew also wanted something KH for a present when we went in December, but we couldn't find anything he would really enjoy...
