I am so glad I found this forum. My hubby and I will be taking our three smaller children ages 9 (daughter) and twins 7 (boy/girl) to their first ever Disney vacation on the 24th!!! They are SO excited!!! As are we. It will also be their first air plane flight. UGHH!!! We will be staying 5 days at the Ft Wilderness cabins and my sister and her family will be staying at the Polynesian at the same time. Sadly my 2 oldest children won;t be able to go along. Our oldest son is 26 single but has to work. My oldest daughter (24)and son in law are going to be closing on their first house while we are gone. ANyway we cannot wait. I am 44 and this will be my third time at WDW. I have also been to Disney land once. WHat a MAGICAL place it is!!!

Will have to work on a trip report, however this trip was WONDERFUL!!! Everything that I hoped especially since I had always wanted to camp at the Fort! Thanks for all the wonderful help and hints. They really made things go so much smoother. Kenny was great! Our cart beat us there and all those recipes were wonderful. The days we weren't on the meal plan, we returned to our camper with a meal done, where all we had to do was set the table, warm the bread, and say grace.
DD was estatic because there was plenty of TOT time as well as pool time. and DH thought I was crazy at first when I talked him into 10 days, however he did say that NEXT time maybe we'd get to do even more at the Fort, that we didn't have enough time for everything
The worst thing that happened was that at the chip and dale sing-a-long I did not realized they split and only did one side. DD kept waiting for Dale (she had a dialoge sp? planned for him) and we missed him. After she burst into tears I just HAD to do something, so I VERY politely knocked on the door and spoke to a CM TRYING to get Dale back out. Of course, that didn't happpen, but they did send a autograph photo out to her. It helped her tears, and I thought they were very nice to me since I had stepped out of the box and became a very pushy mom. (You have to know that I stayed nice the entire time, but I was desperate because DD had skipped chip and dale in the parks at least 5 times because she wanted to see them at the sing-a-long our LAST night, there was no coming back the next day - lesson learned )
