Something positive

I love the atmosphere. I love the resorts, the restaurants, the parks, the CMs, and the time with my family. All my kids are adults in their 30's and they too act like kids again when they are in Disney World. My picture to the left shows me and two of them at the F & W Festival last Halloween. Glorious!

Things I love about Disney (in no particular order) . . .

WISHES! - makes me cry every time. Even just hearing the music when I'm on hold with DVC brings a tear to my eye.
Dole Whips
School Bread
Hearing "Welcome Home" when we come back to our resort
The way my husband's eyes widen with joy when he takes his first bite of a gigantic, Mickey-shaped rice krispy treat
Cheddar Cheese Soup
All of the roller coasters, but especially RnRC!
Hearing the newbies squeal when Expedition Everest goes backwards
Taking pics under the "Singin' in the Rain" umbrella
Streetmosphere at DHS
The fact that, no matter how often I go, I always find a new detail that I had previously overlooked
MNSSHP
MVMCP
Food & Wine Festival
The way that every attraction has a story, which you become a part of as soon as you enter the queue
Walt's window at MK
DeVine
Forgetting exactly when the drop comes on Splash Mountain, and anticipating it as we go around every turn, anxiously looking for those vultures
Hearing "Happy Birthday!" or "Happy Anniversary!" when wearing my celebration button
Saying "Happy Birthday!" or "Happy Anniversary!" to unsuspecting strangers when I see their celebration buttons
Offering to take a photo of a family or couple so that everyone can be in the picture
Soarin' (OMG how did I not mention that sooner?)
Hidden Mickeys
The smell of the firepit in the lobby of Jambo House / watching the animals on the savanna while I have coffee in my pj's
The overwhelming feeling of joy that comes over me when I catch the first glimpse of the big Walt Disney World sign
The fact that, no matter how bleak things might be in the real world . . . a hug from Mickey makes everything instantly better

Okay . . . I'm going to stop now before everyone goes blind . . . but I could go on and on and on and . . . .

Have a Magical Day everyone!

Riding the monorail to go drink a Lapu Lapu. Seeing the castle. Space Mountain. Palm trees! Not working for however many days. Seeing kids meet Mickey for the first time. There's that "Disney feeling" that I can't really put my finger on but it only happens there.
