Alright DIS friends I need something fresh, not that I'm getting bored. Been to Disney many times and love every single trip. Do the usual things: parks, DTD, character meals, you know the usual. What is something different we can do. We're going june for 7 days this is our longest trip yet. Our kids are still a little young for the water parks. Looking forward to your knowledge. Thanx.

I would check out allears and look at "things beyond the parks" (or something like that). I think they cover a lot of activities that may be overlooked. Without knowing what you and your family have specifically done it's hard to give recommendations.

How old are your kids? We took DS to TL when he was just 3 and he loved the Catch-a-kidde Creek area! :sunny:

Out side the usual stuff we have enjoyed mini-golf, surrey bikes, water parks, pirates cruise for kids just to name a few.

Kids are 6,4,1

Hmm, 6 and 4 are fine at waterparks but 1yr. could be challenging. Anyone with a young child that age do a waterpark and have any advice? Surrey bike for all won't work either. Don't they do carriage rides somewhere at one of the resorts? I haven't been to the petting zoo at FW but that might be nice for younger kids.

I recommend Fort Wilderness. You can go to Trail's End for an inexpensive dinner buffet, then play on the playground for a while. Then maybe you can do the hayride, sing-along with Chip & Dale & the movie (May be a bit much for the 1 yr old!).
During the day you can go to the petting zoo.

We've done Disney water parks with a 1.5 yo. (Have done other water parks with under 1). There is sand play areas and little water squirters for the little ones at both water parks. There is also zero entry water play areas meant just for them. Our 4 and 6 yo love water parks. We find a shady spot to park ourselves at and use hats and sunscreen.

I would also check into the pirate cruise, adventure in cooking and Seaworld.

Campfire at FW. The kids would love roasting marshmallows.

With a 6, 4, and 1 you can definitely do the water parks. Typhoon Lagoon has a really nice kids area with sand to play in and small little fountains that have the rubber bottoms.
