And a "Hey" to Tracie and Barb! You guys must've posted while I was typing (and being pulled away... and typing... and being pulled away...). :upsidedow

I'm going to try and dig in around here a little today. I've let things slide for a few days and I'm getting tired of stepping on toys when I walk around. Hot Wheels hurt bare feet!

morning

forgot to post, i've been thminking deeply on where DM will be toiling:idea:

Twister! it's one of my favs, other than the preshow:goodvibes how lame is that?

eBayer still hasn't got back to me to confirm receipt of my payment:rolleyes1 may be back in the market for a calculator lol...wonder if the HS will start charging me interest...or send Guido to break my legs.

tricia - we have never, ever, been able to get the much desired Toy Story building:mad: Last time i thought about using the $20 bill trick with my DL when i checked in...wonder if that works @ Disney for upgrades? If i ruled the DIS they would make it a "special, preferred category". PS a CM convinced us to try the "standard" mighty duck bulding (the one closest to the front of resort). Of course, upper floor, end unit facing parking lot for some privacy/sanity ;) Nice quiet pool, you can easily access your car or walk across to the bus stop @ Music & use their food court (which i think is better as least as to layout, speediness:thumbsup2 )

lori/mac - if the RIPs (thanx jodie lol) @ DHs place of employment didn't suddenly have an urge to scarf up the beginning of October for the 1st time in 10 years; we'd be there...grrr!

mac So have you seen ANY AAA rates yet for October:confused3 @ WDW? i read about the pricing structure change as to the seasons overlapping @ resorts, didn't know the weekends were now higher:headache: ...just makes it easier for us to justify heading over to Universal for the weekends;) as long as their rates don't go much higher lol

penny - ooooh, KS bed-drool...i can't fit one in my BR if i want all my other furniture.

Morning all sorry wasn't on much yesterday but was feeling bad plus my DS's seemed to be fighting everytime I turned the corner and after spending hours at the emergency room last night it was almost midnight and didn't want to bug you homies with my problems and will try to be around a little more today.
Goodness sakes I can't wait for July :lmao: :lmao:

Be sure to take all of your meds. As prescribed. Don't sweat the cost just pay them monthly (25, 50 bucks whatever) You needed meds, get better now!!!

Good comeback on the nurse :thumbsup2

Sorry to hear you were in the ER last night :grouphug:
Do you have pneumonia or bronchitis? Just trying to guess.
Hope you feel better soon
Yeah, nurses get upset over that kind of thing. I had a nursing instructor many yrs ago(when I was going thru nursing school). She was so angry at people who smoked. It was too funny to see her angry :rotfl2:

I hope that what they prescribed for you will help you feel better Lawrence. You've been sick a lot lately. It might be time to listen to the nurse about the quitting smoking thing. :rolleyes1

Oh, I forgot to mention how very BRAVE our very own Janet was on the CB yesterday! You should've seen her post on a thread asking who should be nominated for president from the DIS. She posted that since the country was asking for change, she would nominate anyone from the Universal boards.

Priceless.

:rotfl:

Sorry Rose its bronchitis and its due mainly to smoking cause as a kid kept it and couldn't get rid of it and at this point I guess you could say its cronic and I went last night because I thought it could have been pneumonia as bad as I was hurting in my chest and they gave me a dose of steriods and antibotics and a breathing treatment which was nasty but atleast I was finally able to get more than 3 hours of sleep like I have been getting for last 2 days.

Seen some posts about Patrick Swayze and was reading and came across this

LOS ANGELES(AP) Patrick Swayze's doctor is optimistic about his prognosis for battling pancreatic cancer, and the "Dirty Dancing" actor's upcoming cable pilot is still in contention to become a series.

With the writer's strike over, the A&E pilot "The Beast," starring Swayze as an unorthodox FBI agent, is being considered to be turned into a series by the cable network. If that happens, the "Dirty Dancing" and "Ghost" star hopes to continue to be part of the show, his representative Annett Wolf told The Associated Press on Wednesday.

Swayze has been undergoing treatment for the disease, Wolf confirmed in a statement. The National Cancer Institute estimates there will be 37,680 new cases of pancreatic cancer in 2008 with 34,290 deaths in the U.S.; only five percent of patients live more than five years after being diagnosed.

"Patrick has a very limited amount of disease and he appears to be responding well to treatment thus far," Swayze's physician Dr. George Fisher said in a statement released by Wolf. "All of the reports stating the timeframe of his prognosis and his physical side effects are absolutely untrue. We are considerably more optimistic."

Wolf said Swayze, 55, shot "The Beast" pilot last December and isn't currently working on any new projects. A&E issued a statement Wednesday stating "The Beast" was still in contention to become one of the network's new original drama series and wished Swayze a speedy recovery.

Priceless is right! Do you have a link?!

Penny, you're a good parent; hang in there! Giving a cat a pill is never easy. I can't imagine trying the tube .... Good luck, and let us know how it goes! BTW, how in the world do you know about Jello in a Fan? I would think that would be a nightmare for someone who's WICKED MONKISH!! :goodvibes

Lawrence, sorry about your ER visit.

Tracie, how many more days?!!!! I just lined up our babysitter for Savvy and Alex. :thumbsup2

My fat butt is just sitting home waiting for our bed delivery. I had to clear a path for the movers to come in. Guess I'll wash some sheets so they're nice and fresh for the new bed.

Only downside to getting new bed so soon was that I didn't realize that Tempur Pedics were so heavy and we have to get center support for the frame. Ordered that today, but won't be here for another week - 10 days. Guess that won't kill the mattress, but we'll have to undo the bed once the support beams come, I guess. Nothing is ever easy.

Oh, and if I had any guts, I would show the pictures of the box spring in the guest bedroom (we are putting our mattress in the guest room and having them haul away the guest room mattress... which was the mattress set I bought for my first apartment in 1994 for a grand total of $412 brand new.). Anyway, every cat I've ever had liked to sleep inside that box spring. Yes, inside. They clawed off the bottom and would sleep inside. Each subsequent cat thought this was a GREAT idea, and created new and improved holes in which to enter the box spring to sleep. I'm going to be mortified when the movers lift that off the bed.

Time for the patch, my friend.;)

:drive:

Just a quick fly by to let you all know that Matt did great on his drivers test! He got a 95 percent with only a few small "reminders". The instructor told him he did a great job, but...not to let it go to his head! ;)

So I guess we have another driver in the house! Now it's time to call the insurance company! :faint:

Off to work - everyone have a great day!

me too, I wanna see

First of all, I am sure you don't have a fat butt - you wanna compare junk in the trunk, I've got a landfill sista!:lmao: :lmao: :lmao:

Fresh sheets, new bed :goodvibes :cloud9: Vacation in fifty some odd days, can it be any better? (besides the days til vacay could be less?) Are you off for the next few days? What is your next cycle/tour/shift?
