Did you guys hear that Patrick Swayze has pancreatic cancer? I love all of his movies. One of my all time favorites is Red Dawn.

Big fan of Swayze too. I did not hear that news story about his cancer. Loved all of his movies - enjoyed Road House where he gets to be the hero.

After reading Tricia's post. I will correct this to LOVED all of the movies I have seen.

I did hear about it. Sounds like they updated on his condition and the pancreatic cancer is not as bad as they thought. He is responding well to treatment from the newest news. That's good news to hear.

Actually, if I am having trouble getting something at work figured out, I do not rest well at night, as I keep thinking about it all night.

As for the pencils - I have a good mechanical pencil I buy for $10-15 and it lasts about 5 years for me. I can't stand to write with the #2 pencil, as I would have to sharpen it constantly.

i think mac & jodie are doing Columbus Day week?

we're probably not going to get into dodge until late afternoon on Saturday 10/18, then (shamefully w/o MYW or APs...only MNSSHP @ WDW...how will we go on ). One of the reasons i'd like to try AKV to have something furry to stare at during the day to kill time.

We'll do U 1 or 2 days as day guests & HHN (hopefully if they have it on Wednesday, otherwise will have to cut out the sunday MNSSHP)...then adrift

I have never stayed at any of the ones you mentioned. I have always wanted to try the one with the dragon slide, whichever it is.

don't fret.
it has always been hard for me to take the cats to the vet.
i have started to be a pro with the meds on one of the kitties.

for 3 years, i had to give insulin injections to one cat every 12 hours.
then monthly vet visits with glucose testing regularly.

now i give arthritis meds and thyroid meds to the same cat.

i'm surprised she still loves me with what she goes thru in order to get the medicine down her.

Lori . The story about the pole falling on the Gas Station was just on the News . I am watching Fox 5 . Not the best news cast but hey it is on at 10 PM and I am still awake .

I could not stay awake until 11 to watch the news. Ours is on at 10 on all channels except fox. It is on at 9. Glad you were all okay after the storms.

I have to say, before I forget...

Janet - The wording on the email is like this:

So, I am looking at Value Resorts... either Movies or Pop, most likely. The Pop has the advantage of a separate bus and all that. The Movies would be strictly because of the theming. Joshua loved it the year that we stayed in the "Buzz & Woody hotel".

And I would, of course, get us to MNSSHP at least once. IF we make the trip. Do they have dates for MNSSHP somewhere? I checked the Disney site and couldn't find anything.

Mac - The sale dates for October don't start until the 19th and run through November 1st.

Lori - Black Dog was filmed near here. That is the only reason we watched it. Lots of stuff blows up, so it's not a total waste of 2 hours.

Marcie - Salsa on the ceiling? Sounds like a new band.

Todd - Congrats on the milestone! We seem to be hitting those around here lately.

Rose - Keep us in the loop about your dad. I hope things continue to improve on a daily basis for him.

Penny - If you still need a Shrek when/if I go, I'd be happy to shop for you.

Katie - My green light has a mind of its own. It comes and goes at will. I guess it is already doing its part to conserve.

Fletch - What is this "sleep" thing you speak of?

Jennifer - The only thing I know about my calculator from high school is that if you put 7734 in and turned it upside down it looked like hELL... oh and 8008 was usually good for a laugh too. Aren't you even more frightened now about my role as bookkeeper?

BTW, we sent off our corporate taxes yesterday like good business owners. Only had to pay the state $10. Feds didn't want anything. Good deal!

I know I've missed something or somebody, but that's all that my muddled brain can remember.
