Poor Nala (cocker spaniel foster dog) got her "surgery" last Thursday.

awww...poor pupper.....what was the surgery for again...i know you told us, but it was in the 'other' home :confused3

Morning homies....just a little rant to start the day. :teeth:

I recorded The Price Is Right Million Dollar Spectacular on Friday and watched it this morning...mainly to give Drew Carey another chance as host.

I thought you worked during the day? When are you home to watch TPIR?? :confused3

Morning homies!!

Hoping everyone has a great day, I will be in
Laundry010.gif

this smilie is missing :confused3 :sad2:

I had a thing for Vinnie Barbarino too. I wore my Jordache jeans with the big comb sticking out of the back pocket in hopes that he would notice me. :flower3:

 I remember that :lmao:

I went to Lenscrafters yesterday to purchase the lenses for the frames I bought on ebay.

Good luck finishing MIL's today :thumbsup2 Good thing you were able to get the frames you wanted cheap off eBay....lens are expensive :rolleyes2 (I don't know cause I don't wear glasses :confused3 ) Glad you were able to get them cheaper than the original $500

Oh, that's so sweet. :cutie: I had a niece born, when my sister, 2 yrs. older than me & I were about that age. We spoiled her rotten, pretty much worshipped her. She's still the chosen one to this day. All the kids born later, including mine, have always played 2nd fiddle, as far as nieces & nephews go.

Yep...that's what happens...the "first" always has the 'attention' :sad2:

and barb is learning play- by with the new gopher cam.

I've seen that gopher-cam....looks scary! :scared1:

I'm taking Ally to see the Spiderwick Chronicles this afternoon and make it back in time to catch most of the race.

We will await your review :teeth:

And unfortunately, they seem to really think they have to do KSC and Sea World.

Why do they think they HAVE to do these? Because of the second day free?? :confused3 :confused3 When did you say they were going again? Peak or off-peak?

Anyone else got some money to spare? Our DS is breaking us up. :sad2:

Actually....we do have some extra money we haven't spent yet :rolleyes1 ...but, it's only beginning... Is he using his allowance? YOU aren't dating her! :rotfl: And, be grateful for a boy...my MIL had 2 girls then 2 boys. (DH is oldest boy/3rd kid)...she always told me she'd rather have 10 BOYS than 1 girl! :rotfl:

Would they consider driving? It would save a ton on airfare and the car rental alone for a mini van might cost about the same a gas.
That's a big chunk of money for a budget trip. With a trip as long as theirs, I'd drive my own vehicle. I know it's a long drive, but they could stop overnight along the way. If they're totally opposed to that, I'm out of ideas. Sorry. :guilty:

 Great idea....why didn't I think of it?? :confused3 ...oh yeah...cuz driving is NOT an option for us :rolleyes1

Barb - I can only suggest that you try taking the phone to the dealer and seeing if there's any way they can transfer them over.

There are no dealers...it's a pay by the minute phone...it only cost me $15 for a new one! :lmao: Not a biggie...the numbers will get replaced....eventually.... :(

Hey everyone!

Just a real quick fly by because I am actually tapping into the WiFi of another hotel on the way to the pool!

My bro's last night at Rutgers!!!!

But he made ECAC's so we have to go to Pittsburgh next week....don't know if will go, but we will see! Catch you all when I get back to NY!!!

Janet...I think Marcie's friends are going to 10-14 days...not just a week....

well that's a horse of a different color...who can afford to go that long;)

although i suppose it's cheaper that way than going twice a year when you factor in airfare...we just can't stay away that long with family issues/pets, etc...too hard to pin anyone down that long to take care of business @home while we're away playing

missing smilie again?? what's up with that site? :confused3

late start to the boards today, got the boys off to the game & found that ma is a bit gumby like today...took wrong pm meds; overloaded on muscle relaxants:bitelip: ; she hasn't messed up for a long time...sigh; hope she get's it together

Yeah..the airfare is what stops us from going more than once a year... :sad2: But...this year is 5 nights at UO AND 4 nites DCL  (but, we've been paying on cruise since we booked it almost a year ago...so, that isn't as hard on the pocketbook when you do 'installments')....but, an expensive trip for us nonetheless. But, I save, save, save :thumbsup2 (The week we're spending at Dad's is just a 'bonus' )

Your Ma is funnie :lmao: ...change your number  :lmao:

My sympathies for the stove....I'll try to be careful with the rice when I make stirfry tonite :rolleyes1

Oh...and sorry I wasn't here this morning...I had to go to work (tanning salon) to train the manager on the computer system :rotfl2: She didn't know how to 'work' it.....and when I am the only person 'handy' with the computer, the place is in trouble! :lmao: Either way, have earned my spot...owner, manager and ME get the 'code' to be in the managers editing privledges in computer  So, after I was thru there, I tanned, went to get food (in same shopping center) and home I came. :thumbsup2 (hope that excuse 'note' is kay? :flower3: )

Aren't you special! :woohoo:

Aren't you special! :woohoo:

:flower3:

I pretty much set up the whole thing...I added our services and all our products into the computer system....yeah, I think they STILL wouldn't know what they're doing if I hadn't figured it all out :sad2:

Ugh - just spent a good hour and a half with all 3 boys chipping ice off the driveway and tossing it up onto the snowbanks and then trying to chop down the banks. Probably have them down to 5 feet or so now! :rotfl2: I'm exhausted and we're heading out to Wally World - yeah, that'll pick me right up! Then we'll come back and try the driveway again - it's a balmy 29, I'm sure a lot of it will melt by then!

As far as my friend, they are traveling midweek. Leaving on Wednesday, July 9th and returning on July 22nd, so 13 days (and peak!). They're paying $100 a night for the house, so I guess only $1300 total, but definitely not for one week.

And I think the flying part of it is a BIG deal to them - neither she or any of the kids have ever flown before so they're almost as excited about that part as the parks themselves. And I didn't say they don't LIKE amusement parks, they've just never been able to go to them before.

I don't know why they feel the "need" to do SW and KSC - those are just the "musts" she told me. Seems strange to have KSC as a must and not Disney, but I really think it's just a matter of being completely clueless!

And the price calculations were based on using the 4 day flex tickets. As far as onsite, I really think the part of the vacation they're the most excited about is having their own pool and POOL TABLE! I'm not sure why this is so exciting - you can buy a basic one for $150 at Dunham's, but that was a big part in why they chose the house they did. I think with 4 kids too, having more room to have their own space (and own beds) will be nice for that long a time. Again- plus the advantage of cooking there and saving a ton on meals!

Thanks for the input - I'm off to Walmart! :faint:

Hi all-
Another quick fly by...
I still can't keep up with you guys :faint:
I guess my life is very busy right now compared to everyone else here? :confused3

Let's see what's going on here....
Chrissy had a visit from the tooth fairy last night, um I mean early this morning. We had to pull Chrissy's loose tooth out yest. She doesn't like when someone goes in her mouth, so it was a challenge. But tooth fairy almost forgot about coming by. Oops! But it all worked out ::yes::

I fell on the black ice, in our driveway last night, coming home from church.
We have a shared driveway with 3 other residents, living in a condo. I'm ok, no bruising, just hurts a little in my right knee.

We are leaving soon to a swim party in an indoor swimming facility in our park dist. This is for Cub Scouts. All 4 of us are doing the activity, then come home and the kids get in the shower and go to bed. I know Chrissy is going to be a bear tomorrow morning, trying to get up for school is not going to be easy. She has been up since 6:30 am today, she has been too excited about this swim party tonight. Wish the swim party was mid-afternoon today, but they only can do lock-ins in the evening at this facility.

Thanks to all that responded to my post yesterday, about Matthew getting a call from a girl. It was pretty sweet I must admit :flower3:
DH and I were joking Wed. night after we all got back from the school program that Matthew is going to get calls from girls b/c he was so cute up there on stage :goodvibes I had no idea it was going to start already :scratchin

Ok, gotta run. Going to be a busy week again for me this coming week.

Have a good day everyone :wave2:

Marcie...do they have a different time of the year they can go? Summer is expensive for everything...not just Disney! :confused3 (rental home, rental CAR, air, etc....) If they could go early May or so (I know the hassle of taking the kids out of skool) but it might give them 'more bang for their buck' ;)

Hi Rosemarie...Sorry to hear you fell....BUT, the warm water in the pool will relax it and make it feel better :thumbsup2 Have fun!! :goodvibes

Hi Guys! Sorry I haven't been around too much. I have been busy dealing with stuff that, trust me, you don't want to hear about. :headache:

Plus, Savannah is huge handful, but of course in a good way.

She has this awful habit of roaming and sitting around with her tongue hanging out:

CIMG1783.jpg

And, of course, sometimes we panic when we can't find her:

CIMG1778.jpg

I have others of Sav getting into trouble, but Mike has banned me from posting the pics publicly. :flower3:

It's making us a bit sad, because until we had our hands full with Savvy, we never realized how old Alex had gotten. We had hoped that Savvy would help keep him active, but no go so far. We just got back from the pet store and bought him a laser light. We're hoping that gives him some exercise.

Who is watching the Oscars tonight? Mike and I always say we won't, and then we do anyway. Is there an Oscar fantasy league this year?

Sorry I haven't gone back to read. I'll try to catch up later. Mike is calling me to do 8-minute Abs with him before we start Beer O'Clock.

See ya's later!

Okay, I am NEVER happy when the smileys do the shuffle thing, but this latest scramble has to be the WORST!

The clown guy? Who uses him? When? Why?

Or the painter? Or the scooter? Or the smoking guy?

There are at least 6 or 7 up there now that I have never had a reason to use.

Sorry, I'm just grumpy 'cause the race is in rain delay and it has thrown my whole afternoon plans off.
