I think it is due to the damage to the track due to the wreck plus they still have water coming out from under the track from rain and they tried to fix it but doesn't look like it worked too well

catching this part of the race.....they are cutting the track I've never seen that before..... AND...I DO believe Mr Tony Stewart colors his hair.... (a guy that old should have some gray hair....don't see any.....however...i could be wrong....

Red Flag means "all racing conditions stop"... including pit crews. Yellow Flag is "caution" and you can work on the cars.

good thing they have night games now & again and we can at least look @ downtown all lit up like a Xmas tree. we didn't make it down last year, i kept doing the math as to parking (think it was $20 bucks in '06) cost of tix, etc.; finally just chucked the idea. Perhaps they'll open the purse strings now and get/keep some playas! i was surprised jr didn't want the crosby jersey...he said he wanted to be different lol

mac - speaking of catnip ; we're out here (perhaps ma is hitting it up lol)...i've gone to 3 different stores this week...wonder if there's a shortage?

local news today said there will be a massive wheat shortage this summer, the big bakeries have their stash in hand, so bread shouldn't go up too much...however, the price of a pizza is expected to quadruple $50 for a pizza . Supposed to be just during this season...1st i gave up smoking, then drinking (sorta ), it's going to be hard to tell pizza so long.

soooo, i'm taping the race upstairs (thanx for announcing the delay, went & rewound it for the boys who are now eating chinese without me ); noticed that waltrip was leaking something - oil? what's up with that...
i keep trying to flip between the oscar coverage (E & TVGN) and the race without much success.

anyone else have an urge to smack lisa rhinna in those big old lips of hers?

believe it or not, i did know what the red and yellow meant....however, i don't see why you can't work on your car (where jr's is...AND in the pit) on a 'red'...if nobody is driving...what's the difference?

Michael Waltrip had a loose oil line during the practice laps and leaked all over the place. Ooops.

I have wanted to smack Lisa Rhinna for years. I'm not sure I'd start with the lips though. You're hand would probably bounce off those puppies and come back to smack your own forehead.

flour is made out of wheat, just bleached/refined

so i've been taping a condition red for over an hour time to head back upstairs & rewind i suppose - again

seems weird, if the drivers don't approve the track's condition, what would they do? race elsewhere @ a later date? or is it a temporary situation?
