These were really out of place....They were in the queue for Disaster, well actually right outside of the railing. All of the rest of the props inside the queue were wrecked planes and stuff like that. They also had a movie poster about some movie next to them, but these didn't:
gargoyles.jpg

You don't suppose that they could be for Harry Potter? :confused3

And I bet they were very unhappy with you!

Yes they were, but they understood that there wasn't any way they could go. They would have been worn out! We were and really still are. We did tell them that we might be able to take a trip with them during Mardi Gras sometime if they would not miss too much school. You know how kids are...they get a tummy ache, or a little runny nose and think they need to stay home for a couple of days.....

read this on another site.

25 February 2008: Chicken Strips removed from counter service locations?

There are some reports in our discussion forums that the much favored Chicken Strips have been removed from the counter service restaurants. At the moment it isnt clear if this is a short term supply issue, or if they have fallen foul to the elimination of trans fats program. to read more, check out the forum at http://forums.*************/showthread.php?t=281114

there goes the one thing i do eat at their counter services......

sorry mac  Maybe time to find another choice??

mary, i had my wisdom teeth removed as an adult and was put to sleep for it.
and, the best part of having teeth cut out, you lose weight!!
you have no interest in food for a few days.

...just get sick....when I had the flu last week, i lost 3 pounds...NO interest in eating (drinking? yes. eating? nope.) ...DH lost 5 pounds....:thumbsup2 Of course, more extreme weightloss would be tossing the smarts teeth :teeth:

i didn't go to work today,

Good for you :thumbsup2 Haven't you fulfilled your quota for this month anyhows?

have mr mac home sick as a dog.
it will be a long day for him.

i'm a good wife.

have to go to chicago tonight and pick up one son from the train station at 10 pm. hoping no more snow and the highway is clear by tonight.

going to curves later today.

Hope Mr Mac is feelin' better.....you're lucky he's not a 'baby' when sick :thumbsup2 You ARE a good wife, and mother, and friend....what are you NOT a "good" of? :scratchin

Hope you retrieved son safely tonight ;)

Have fun at Curves!

Isn't this sentence an "oxymoron"? :confused3

Mac, thanks for asking about my dad. Update on my dad. He is doing better, not 100% better, but better at least.

That is good to hear Rose!

We're home. Joshua's MRI went find and he decided to go for it WITHOUT sedation. They showed him the machine and the list of movies he could watch while he was in the machine and he decided he could do it awake and stay still. He did. He looked so small strapped to that table and the machine was so noisy, but he stayed still and did exactly what the tech asked him to do. He amazes me all the time, but I gotta tell you, this was a biggie. Never in a million years would I have thought he could handle it without drugs.

I wish they could have sedated me. ;)

What movie did he choose to watch? Hard to believe how they 'amaze' you out of the blue.....that means he's growing up :rolleyes1 Tell him we are all VERY proud of how big a boy he handled himself! Let's just hope the results are favorable! ;) Any idea how long till you hear something? Does he have to go back to the ped. neuro...or does that depend on the results? :wizard: :wizard: (How's everyone that was sick? Carol? Mom? Deb? YOU?)

well, i get the darwin award today.

i THOUGHT i had ordered the birnbaum and UG guides for DL.

I ordered the birnbaum correctly, and got the Disneyworld ug book.

so, I just ordered the correct DIsneyland UG book, and also ordered the first in the Twilight series. Marcie gave it high ratings, and the editorials and reviews gave it two thumbs up as well.

Betty showed up and baked a german chocolate cake and is frosting it later, and me and Bigelow are going to have tea.

Guess you'll have to go to the World AND the Land :rotfl2: ...it's an 'omen' Penny :rolleyes1 Oh well...things happen for a reason

How was your cake? Yummy?

stay away from the dairy products 24 hours prior to your dental surgery.

why :confused3

Glad it's over too. Sounds like the winds I sat out in last night.

Sounds like you get the weather first Lori...then pass it to Tricia & Todd....just like mac gets it, passes it to Janet and she passes it to me, Mike, Tracie and Jodie :headache:

Came by to say good night homies and play catch up.
Barb you could say I sort of retired but the reason for it is that I was hurt several years ago and been unable to work due to my neck being bad shape and it affects just about everything I do but I have taught myself to deal with the pain and the limited things I can do without hurting myself any futher if that makes any sense. :lmao: :lmao:

I would like to thank you all for keeping things down to a low roar for me. I am afraid I will be around very little for the next few days. It is crunch time for the baseball carnival! Very busy around here through Saturday. And then baseball really starts next week. I know we will be gone at least 3 nights a week until bed time. I will pop in when I can.

Going to hit the hay in just a bit. Nite everyone!

We know baseball keeps you busy....we understand.....

(I'm glad they kept it down too....busy week for me thus far...and it's only Tuesday! :faint: )

ok....here's the deal. In order to make it affordable to fly - we changed our dates by two days

whooooooooooooooo :woohoo: :woohoo: :woohoo:

we are on a flight to and from the motherland

instead of sunday to saturday we are now tuesday (4/29) thru Wednesday (5/7) and for those keepiing count, that adds a day for us :lovestruc

 :yay:  :yay:  YAY!!!! Yer flyin'!! Guess Jim didn't want to be doing that drive after all...hhhmmmm :scratchin :thumbsup2 Here's hopin' for a ding! :wizard: :wizard:

I was really surprised that it was Mardi Gras and the parks were not that crowded. Being that it was a last minute, spontaneous trip, we stayed offsite and the waits weren't all that bad. The longest wait was for Disaster. Here's DH in line at Disaster being bored.....
Disaster1.jpg

Although he wasn't as bored of waiting in line as he was tired of hearing my sister (who went with us) complain.....

Uh....why was sis complainin'?? She was on a mini vacay!! :confused3 (and spending time with you guys!) :confused3

OK, well since you asked....we found a deal on a stand-up tanning booth that we couldn't pass up....it was in Deltona, FL, so we thought.....TRIP to UNIVERSAL!!!!! Also, my little sister has been really down....her fiance is working in Iraq and she needed to get out, so we took her with us.

Does this mean you DROVE?? :scared1:

oh....forgot to mention....guess what was all over my front lawn today??!!??

img710101az6.jpg

a whole BUNCH of them - come on spring!!!! :dance3:

I saw some robins a couple weeks ago....i noticed tulips pokin' out today....guess spring is on the way!! Oh...and do i WANT to know what Mr. Robin is eatin'? :scared:

Have any of you noticed the trees in Seuss Landing before? When we were there before, I don't remember what they looked like, but I know they didn't have these yellow blooms on them. They look like daffodils or jonquils. Do any of you know what kind they are?
seusslanding.jpg

I'd love to have one in my yard! But they probably wouldn't grow here....:rolleyes1

Sis is something else (she's the baby and I was until I was almost 15), to put it mildly....She complained about being tired and hot and other things....and had to take smoke breaks....I can tolerate her a lot better than DH can. We both decided that the next time that we get away without the kids that it will be JUST US!
Yes, we drove and rented a U-haul trailer for the trip home.

Nope! Well, maybe.

I am sorry Lori...but the homie rulz state you MUST ride Simpsons at least once :snooty: How can you aid others if you don't experience it yourself? :confused3 Besides, you don't want me to make a 'scene' draggin you to it, do ya? :rolleyes1

So..if you're not working...yep...you're retired ;) :yay: Sorry you have to have pain....but, at least you're comfortable at 'home'. Makes sense what you're saying...I get it :thumbsup2

Have no idea what those trees are....they are always either "bare" or "green" when I'm there :rolleyes1 Must be some kind of tree that flowers in spring, then 'greens' (like a dogwood tree or something....)....sorry can't help ya...but, they are pretty :flower3:

Tracie, I didn't see your robin picture until Barb's post...I'll never ketchup...I just wanted to tell you WOW! What a GREAT pic!

Okay, first....that explains it...she was 'hot' and 'tired' cuz she's a smoker..... :headache: I thought it WAS just you & Tim... THAT woulda been nice :rolleyes1 ...but, now you've had the 'taste' of an "alone trip", you're apt to speed it up ;) Glad to hear you got your booth...uh...you need it :rolleyes1 Remember...no more than 20 min/day or you'll be askin' for trouble :scared: Exactly how long a drive is that? I think Deltona is like an hour from my FIL in Ocala....I hate that drive :headache:

Ok.....I need it, huh? I've been tanning.....I'm not that pale! :rotfl2:
It's about a 16 hour drive for us to Orlando. I think it took about 30 minutes for us to get to Deltona from our room. Yes, it was late/early when we got home Monday morning and I went to work Monday morning....found myself nodding off a couple of times. I slept like a baby last night and I need to hit the bed right now!
