More useless info - March 2nd is also my oldest son's 16th birthday! As a result, we've known about Dr. Seuss' birthday since he was a little kid since it seemed like they always celebrated it in preschool and elementary school that day! Even now in high school, they can still wear a t-shirt celebrating it that day!

My teeth are hurting and I have a slight headache . I think it is all the stress of the day really or it could be the fact that now that I know the teeth are bad they are just hurting . Maybe I just NUTS Who knows.

I will let everyone know about the sleepnumber bed. I know that we have two friends with it and both LOVE it. I am very pickey about EVERYTHING so i will let you all know how it really is . I am pretty sure i am going to love it since when I went to the mall to try it i almost fell asleep .

I think today is the day he's supposed to try to quit smoking all together. I am trying to be supportive and encourage him without nagging (fine line every spouse treads), but, if I'm being honest, I'm afraid nothing is going to work for him. I don't think he wants it bad enough.

He knows that I would really love for him to quit; he just doesn't want it bad enough for himself. I swear, every time he coughs, my heart breaks a little.

I feel your pain. I started dating DH a couple years after losing my Dad to smoking....and DH smoked then. At first, it was 'out of sight, out of mind'...but, that didn't last long. DH quit smoking for me (and our future) and occasionally craves a smoke, but doesn't AND he thanks me all the time. If he still smoked, he wouldn't be able to play ice hockey PLUS he wouldn't be able to afford it! So, be encouraging and there for him....you only care about him and your future together He is taking years off your lives together...and his selfishness is not fair to you

What I would really like is one real long trip and then several week long trips. That's not asking to much is it?

I smoke maybe 10-12 a day ( a few more if I am indulging in adult beverages ) The smoking is one of the things that I need to discuss with my doctor at my next thyroid/triglycerides appointment next month. I promised myself and the kids that I would try to stop by the time I am 40. That is September 2009.

Why put off till then what you can do today?

Why would they close DQ? Isn't that place always packed? I've never been myself but had always heard it was a nightmare to get in to.

I heard that rumor a while ago...right after we were there! DH & I had such a great time there.... I couldn't imagine them closing it But, you have to go early...cuz even going early, it gets busy quick! We played the old video games.... Burger Time, Q-bert, etc...I'd have to look them up...but what a ride down memory lane!!!!

Besides, if they 'pack' the place a lot....why would they close it?? Doesn't make sense?

no flight yet....still working on it, the prices were slowly creeping down. SW did a ding for Ft. Lauderdale and for Tampa at 58 dollars...Orlando should be next. Plus SW and Air Tran should have a new sale coming up in the next few days - their last one expired the @21st. the flight down is pretty reasonable, its the one home that is giving us the trouble. I need the info so I can set up you know who for the pick up.

Here's hoping you can get something coming home traveling during the weekends are a bear!! Even if you don't get the same airlines down and home.....i'm sure you'll get something.....anything has got to be better than driving

We're home. Joshua's MRI went find and he decided to go for it WITHOUT sedation. They showed him the machine and the list of movies he could watch while he was in the machine and he decided he could do it awake and stay still. He did. He looked so small strapped to that table and the machine was so noisy, but he stayed still and did exactly what the tech asked him to do. He amazes me all the time, but I gotta tell you, this was a biggie. Never in a million years would I have thought he could handle it without drugs.

I wish they could have sedated me.

I am so very proud of our boy! I bet you aren't going to believe this but I teared up! I know surprise, surprise. At least I did hold them back this time. I was thinking about you.

well, i get the darwin award today.

i THOUGHT i had ordered the birnbaum and UG guides for DL.

I ordered the birnbaum correctly, and got the Disneyworld ug book.

so, I just ordered the correct DIsneyland UG book, and also ordered the first in the Twilight series. Marcie gave it high ratings, and the editorials and reviews gave it two thumbs up as well.

A friend southeast of me said that it was 85 during the day yesterday & dropped to 35 last night. Of course that is a little more normal in Oklahoma than in Florida though. Still it is hard for the body to handle.

My grandmothers birthday was March 2nd & my favorite aunts (great aunt, they were sisters) birthday is the 2nd too.
