:bday:

Happy Birthday Marci and Penny...

Worked 8th grade JHS today :scared1: . Now what parent in their right mind buys a 13 or 14 year old girl a THONG ???? I can't believe that this kid bent over in front of me and I got a full view of this thing because her pants were so low . I just don't get it .:confused3

After that intresting day my 15 year old tells me she may want to start dating a boy she met in school :scared1: . I am not ready for this at all  . Any advice for this ? Many of you are guessing right she is the oldest and I am freaking out right now .:lmao:

And after all that to top off my day the water main is broken around the corner and we went over an hour with no water at 6PM which is prime time for me to cook dinner . Needless to say I was not a happy camper  . It took over an hour to get the water back. This is after a trip to the supermarket to buy water to make dinner with .

I am going to watch LOST tonight anyone else hooked on it ?

Be back later ...

i do hope you homies are watching AI right now and that is why you aren't here posting.

its a commercial right now.........

Yeah i thought of that but then there is the whole idea of her banging on thedoor to get out and all . :rotfl2:

Oh NO AI :scared1: ... I just can't get into that one no matter how hard I try I just can't watch that show . I only watch the last few shows and that is it for me .

Now after 9 I will be like this :happytv: and not move till lost is over :lmao: .

i was not "moved" by AI last evening, did wonder where paula disappeared to for awhile; then she was back sprawled across the table arm wrestling. Was waiting for the glass top to go flying

the tryouts used to be my fav part, now i'm starting to think they are staged with @ least 1 goofball per episode (even the guy dressed all in white paying homage to simon has made the rounds of entertainment shows)

looking forward to a great competition this year without any sanjaia (sp) distractions:wizard:

ps i worry so about my boys finding trouble, cannot imagine worrying about a daughter. Guess you just gotta hope you gave them the skills they need & always be there to listen. i'd have husband threaten the date too jik lol

2 more work days and it's the weekend..........

my weekend days are like the weekdays, so why does that thrill me???

Evening everyone!

My day started with me accidentally rubbing my right EYEBALL with a towel . . .what a goober :confused3 but then it started bleeding. . yes, that's right. . . my EYEBALL STARTED BLEEDING!:scared1: :scared1: It was so freakin scary my dd11 ran out of the room crying. She thought something tragic had happened and my eyeball fell out or something.:lmao: Then my wonderful, loving, caring, supportive DH came running in and started laughing!?!? What the. . . he said that he couldn't help it because I was flailing and dancing and hopping around and make weird noises and chanting "ow, my eye is bleeding. . ow, my eye is bleeding, oh my god my eye is bleeding". . . then when he looked at it he was no longer laughing. He did say sorry, sincerely, and said he just couldn't help it when he first saw me. (boy am I gonna get some mileage out of that) Being the goof that I obviously am, I go to work with my eye hemmorage and gross out my coworkers. I finally went to the doctor around 1:30 this afternoon. . . it was around 7:00am when I raked the giant hole in my eye. . . and they said there was really nothing to be done. It will heal much as a bruise does, meaning it's going to turn lovely shades of green, brown, yellow etc, etc. And, oh yeah, it's going to itch like crazy, but I mustn't rub it (I have shoes older than you doc!) and here's a script for antibiotic drops and get rewetting drops to stay moist. Here's the good part, when he asked me to take out my contact lens, I said ok, I need to wash my hands. . he's like, you wash your hands first? I said, well of course, doesn't everyone? Doc responds, I never wash my hands before I take mine out :scared1:   I said, dude, you are a doctor and you don't know to wash your hands before you stick your finger in your eye??????? Hello?????????? He did not inspire confidence, I can assure you of that. Plus he told me stupid stories while he was in the exam room and asked me if I knew exactly how long my hair was. . .as in had I ever measured it?? Doc Duffus at his finest. . . dh kindly says he was just trying to have a good bedside manner, but he's very young and inexperienced so give him a break. . . yeah, like's that's gonna happen.

For those of you who might have seen my HRH customer service concerns thread, I am happy to report I'm currently working with some, shall we say, upper management to get things resolved and they are slowly restoring my confidence.

Kids are home from church and getting in bed so I've got to go tuck in. BBL

Yay, snow day! So we didn't have soccer or religious ed, so we got to go out and celebrate my birthday! :cool1: We went to Nakashima's, which is like a Benihana's. Had to drag DS12 along fighting and screaming since he was still warm and cozy in his fleece jammies and didn't want to get dressed or go out in the (now only windchill -19, shoot, it's downright bamy out! ;) ) cold weather! But we all had fun anyways.

I guess I could open some presents, but since I bought them all myself, and no one wrapped them, I guess it won't be too exciting! :rotfl: We will have cake soon though! (Although after the amount of food we ate, I can't say that sounds all that exciting!)

And you won't believe this, but we had a party at work today! Pizza for my birthday! Woo hoo! (Yeah, I know, I didn't need all that food, but still, it's the thought that counts, right?)!

Off for cake - catch you all later!!

Hope everyone had a great day today!!! Today was my last day of school for the week so yay for long weekends!!! I only go to class on Mondays and Wednesdays so I have it good. :stitch:

:welcome: :welcome: back home Mr. K

Mornin' Fletch.

Studied math in school and not foreign language. Worked well, as I use math everyday and I haven't been out of the country yet in my 40+ years.

So, I have no idea what you said.

But I do know the what the 20 pounds means!

WAY TO GO FLETCH!:cool1: :cool1:

good morning homies.

congratulations fletcher!

overslept and now off to work.

see you when the skool bell rings. :teacher:

peeps are speaking in tongue;)

did recognize the german via youngest DS taking it this year (found out yesterday the german teacher wants to take them to other side of state for some sort of "optional" competition...i'm thinking a request for a check will be forthcoming:rolleyes1 ).

wendy - how awful for you, hope it doesn't hurt (being RC stigmata is coming to mind-i would've freaked; you handled it very well imo):thumbsup2

marci - so nice you were feted on your big day, since you plan such great trips for the family must've been nice to just sit back & enjoy!

weatherman calling for later today -

"...freezing rain, sleet and an ice storm after midnight..."

aren't they all the same thing:confused3 ?

MF congrats on the big #20 disappearing :woohoo: fantastic!!!

Buenos dias, Eses!

20 POUNDS

I'm stuck at 14. . . what are you doing?? I'm still taking alli and eating very healthy and walking. My personal trainer/nephew says he thinks I'm losing alot of inches, less weight and building back muscle. I feel so much better than I did a month ago, my clothes fit differently and I just have a general feeling of well being, but dang it. . . I wanna have lost 20 pounds too!!!! It's that magic lake you got. . .

Really, congrats though. . . I KNOW how much hard work 20 pounds takes! You are inspiring me.
