Hello, just dropping by to say a quick good night. Mike and I had a busy night at work tonight so are going to unwind with some QT.

We got our W2s tonight at work, and I as usual I'm annoyed (when am I not annoyed anymore -- geez). Think our W2s got messed up. My state and fed income on my W2 is about 3K higher than my final pay stub of 2007. Mike's federal is about 2.5K higher on his W2 than his last pay stub, but his state wages are almost the same. I don't even want to think about how long this is going to take to straighten out since we don't have any special circumstances like exercising stock options or getting relo money or whatever. Is anything easy any more?

Mac, we changed our October dates to 10/9 - 10/14 so we'll be there over Columbus Day weekend again. Hope we can do another RIP!

I did get the cp arrow thingy to work for me. I never even knew that was there.

I am up early cause I drew the short stick, and have to drop Princess Peanut off at the vet this morning. Little Savvy is getting declawed today, and while I am absolutely heartbroken to do that to her, she is dangerous with those things, and has come too close to scratching our eyes more times than I care to count. She was playing with Mike last night, and her claw actually got stuck in his cheek, and I saw her pull out his cheek trying to get her claw out. Poor thing was not allowed to eat or drink past 9 pm last night, and she is one STARVIN MARVIN right now.

Penny, sorry to hear your interview was run by an infant! Hopefully, she'll find someone who can respond to your questions appropriately!

Tricia, good luck at Joshua's doctor appointment today. And, oh, I use sidestep.com to search for airfare. Then I plug in my fares to yapta.com. Or, I plug in a fare I'm watching on yapta.com, and then when a fare reaches a certain threshold, yapta alerts me through email and I go buy it. Yapta also alerts me of price drops on my purchased fares, and I call and get a refund, if it applies.

kfed - parents in our school (old bldg - no pool) are trying to round up bodies for an "independent" swim team. Evidently, you have to field X amout of kids. All away games & practice @ the YMCA's facilities. Asked me yesterday, i told them DS could swim all day; it's just that he's just very slow. They are persisting, i'm going to stand fast; don't think you could easily pick up competitive swimming end of 9th grade.

I am going to TRY and get some big cleaning done around here. Assuming that we get to go to Daytona, that date is rapidly approaching... as in, just over 2 weeks away. IF the in laws will be staying here to watch the kids, then I need to shovel some things out and clean up or else my "cleanliness is next to godliness" MIL will be in hell for 4 days.

If you see me here... remind me that I'm supposed to be cleaning.

Guess what I got for MY birthday? A SNOW DAY! WOO HOO! Of course I still have to go to work in an hour here, but we got to sleep in and I don't have to do my normal shuttling and soccer and church school are cancelled for the evening so we might even be able to go out to celebrate!

Of course it IS -12 right now, wth a wind chill of -42!!!!!

I've lost 19 lbs. but my birthday suit was still a little bigger than my TV suit so I looked like a fat guy in a little coat. My birthday suit is getting quite a few wrinkles, bumps and stains of unknown origin. A co-worker and friend had a stroke the other day. He is 4 years younger than I and doctor told him he has the brain of an 80 year old. I gave my buddy a bucket and told him he needs to make a pretty short list to go in it.

Hope Savvy does okay. Poor baby. I'm sure Mike will enjoy her much more without all the injuries.

Took Mikey to different doctor this morning. Got a souped up sample of Advair to try to get asthma under control. He also gave him a real antibiotic, not that stupid zythromax that is the popular one to prescibe now. Hopefully he will be feeling better in a couple of days.

DD called and Madie has a severe case of strep. The rash is a strep rash. Never heard of such a thing but it is even worse today. She has been loaded up with antiiotics too.

Now we are just lounging around the house trying to get kids well.
