just noticed, the chimp is wearing a fez:laughing: . youngest DS was so tempted to spend his souvieneer $ on one in Epcot years ago...i told him to save his $ & just join the Shriners (can do good works & drive funny little cars!)

speaking of :wizard: to Tracie & the Daytona 500 trip (saw something yesterday re it & thought of you)...Go Waltrup!:rotfl: jr not sr;)

jennifer -never, ever!!!! use the word audit and janet in the same sentence (been, there done that:sad2: wound up owing less than $100 over several years, still scary as heck to enter that room filled with lions) . Have a safe trip home!

metro - not sure if u have mortgage insurance, from what i've gleaned; those who re-fi'd last year get to claim it. Apparently, re-fis are @ their lowest rate in years.

lori - yea for sis on the RE mags, is it type where agents pay X amount of $ to have listings featured? Advertising was one of my biggest expenses when i was active as a realtor (license in escrow, just do referrals now); however, it was essential. Sellers demand it and it churns up buyer referrals too:thumbsup2 . Local newspaper has it cornered in our area.

barb - some woman sure have a thang for men in uniform (camp followers:rolleyes1 )

jodie - i had a "hot tip" that ford was going to be purchased by toyota back when i bought it - NOT. I had a long time investment in a REIT that I purchased when i worked in commercial RE @ a bank back before the last "real" recession. Made decent return for years, then the stock split...a reverse split:scared1: (how often do u see that?)

mac ur a cool mom, i'd still lower the boom on bad report card though;) . PA has milk price controls, a gallon of whole milk (i refuse to do lite) is still less than $4.00

DM -congrats on the refund, will be nice to get another when you amend!

MF i've been up since 4:00 ish, rise over-no shine on horizon; can i go back to bed now?

marci - i've said it before...ur family is so gracious not to sulk wearing matching outfits...you've evidently done a good job rearing them (do u have to threaten ur husband into complaince? hints please lol)

st L - re CC

re fraud - banks look for patterns of usage:

* think usage (large purchases after months of non-use)

* type of transaction vs past transactions (retail, travel)

* $ amount

* multiple transactions

fyi, i've had different CC accounts compromised several times over the last few years...at least 5 times.

Funny incident - went to make a purchase on card i used rarely @ Dicks; it was declined. Called immediately, evidently; I had just purchased an Eccho snowboard (top of the line) and 1 year of AOL access.:rolleyes1

Scary one - had cleared off a CC & it was to have been used for all charges re a WDW/DCL trip. Worked fine @ WDW. Used it @ Rainforest restaurant in DTD, server was gone for a very long time. Next day, onto DCL. Following day @ Nassau. Tried to buy a bag of coffee & the card was declined:scared1: . We didn't have our cell phones & just some spare change; barely enough to buy a phone card to call CC company from the pier.

Turns out, the day after our DTD charge 2 charges went thru:

1) $1.00+ for needle & thread:confused3

2) $13,000 for jewelry purchase in Isabella, Spain:sad2: thieves move quickly via the internet

They had to close the card & offered to have another waiting for us in the next port; that we could pick up @ a bank.

So glad DH & I both (secretly) brought back up CCs or we'd stil be washing dishes

fyi, if you are traveling out of your area & plan to use your card; give the issuer a phone call a few weeks ahead of time to avoid any "confirmation" issues/hassle.:thumbsup2

What it is one of those cards they put your tax refund on and they had sent me a new one but the tax place was having trouble with them so they put it on the old one so I guess where I had not used it since the end of june the card must have assumed it was stolen cause we used it earlier for 2 small purchases it went thru.
All I hope is when I go to make our hotel ressies that it goes thru cause if I worked it out right then we will be able to stay at RPR and 2 days offsite so hope I have no problem with that.

Good morning, homies.

I am not bragging or anything, but my weekend started 3 hours ago and I'm not due in till Tuesday. :)

Leaving for the salon in a bit (these roots do not blonde themselves  ), but I'll be back later to make sure you're all behaving!

Just wanted to say hello and enjoy your day!

Janet, were you really audited over $100?! I am shaking my head here thinking: # of auditors x hourly rate x # of hours = a lot more than 100$. Our tax dollars hard at work.

A father passing by his son's bedroom was astonished to see the bed nicely made up and everything neat and tidy. Then he saw an envelope propped up prominently on the pillow. It was addressed, "Dad". With the worst premonition, he opened the envelope and read the letter with trembling hands.

Dear Dad,

Rave.... I had gotten that email before....kind of makes you put things in perspective don't it?? Then again, I would hope I don't get that bad as to be that upset over a report card that my son is afraid of me and resorts to reminding me :sad2: (like this note).... :rolleyes1

Hello all Just wanted to say HI .

Bubbasmom anytime you want to go to SFGADV in NJ just ask . I am like a pro at that place. We almost live there in the spring and summer months.

I am going to search :surfweb: for sweet 16 stuff for my daughter now so I will be up for awhile but just want to say good night if I don't make it back here . This is becoming a job in its self .

Anyone think making or having shirts made for a sweet 16 at IOA/USF is crazy? I wanted to make shirts for us during our trip and wear them on her actual birthday . Any thoughts :confused3 ???

Mary....I'll keep that in mind...IF I can ever convince DH to give it a try again.....

I think shirts are a cute idea...IF she'll wear them.... How about getting her a tiara (kind of like they do for the bachlorettes?)....they would draw attention most definately.....or a sash :scratchin .....

I filed my taxes too soon. I CAN deduct my student loan payments and can get MORE $$$ back.

D'oh!

Glad I'm "not" on the ball like you.....sometimes it doesn't pay to be 'efficient' :sad2:

mary, if you do something eye catching with a tee shirt or cute-sy type of hat at the parks, you might reap the benefits from the tm.

not all are thoughtful but there are quite a few that will do something for your sweet 16 trip.

i think it was barb that did something that caught the eye of employees at universal or city walk. i'm thinking sometime last year it happened.

being blonde and all, i might have the wrong person but thought it was barb that posted on her excitement for the bd event.

Nope....wasn't me :confused3 Are you sure you're not confusing me with Momma Bean....one of the girl beans had a bday when they were there at HRH last year....(Court maybe?)

i never said geography was my strong point.......

then what would you say is?

Morning Homies, rise and shine! OK, at least rise..

:teeth:

I have been reading all of your posts this week. But the DIS is SLOW SLOW SLOW and I would get frustrated and just quit and watch TV. I thought part might be due to a slow internet connection.

HOTEL REVIEW: The Holiday Inn is actually very nice. Good breakfast. Also the rooms are big (for just me) and bathroom is nice size. The best thing is I can't believe how smart I am in the mornings!;)

Janet - Audit Alert: Your nanner in your signature is cut off. It must be how we (others) have our monitor settings. Your siggie is cut off on the work laptop I'm using this week; but Nanner is alive and well on the home computer. Thus the old saying, It's not you, it's me!

-Jennifer

Hey Jennifer.....the DIS has been running slow for everyone....not just you.....

Good to hear you're a little more comfy in this hotel....any bathroom/hopper pix??

I have the same problem with Janet's nanner....but, I can't see it on the desktop monitor OR my laptop....whereas it wasn't cut off before :confused3 Ya know what I think? I think she ate 1/2 of it and won't admit it :snooty:

When DS was about 10-11, he came home from school on Friday wanting to go to a movie. At this time, we were not comfortable with dropping son at movies and then picking him up later. A parent (either us or friends) always stayed with the boys in the theater (just now in the same row). And the movie was a PG-13. Now I'm not a prude, and he did see PG-13 movies at that time. However, this was one those "teenage sex comedies". I went on a website about family movie ratings, and read some comments that fortified my position by not letting him see this. I told him, he could go to the movies tonight, that I would take him (and stay), but he could not see THAT movie. popcorn::

Well, that was not good enough. He cried, he would be the only one not going. Everyone else was going! Boo Hoo! :guilty: :sad1: :sad1: We told him the theatre would not let the kids in to see PG-13 if no one was 13 and no parent was present. :rolleyes1 (I don't know if they actually do this or not, but it made him think.)

Anyway, we argued and cried for about 45 minutes. And then the phone calls start coming in. Friend #1 is not allowed to go. Friend #2 is not allowed to go. Basically, no one was allowed to go either!!!:confused3

DS finally straightened up.

Moral of the story is "STICK TO YOUR GUNS".

And as I always say, did your parents let you do everything you wanted??

That would be a "NO" for me.

:) :) Jennifer:) :)

1. Good for you!
2.gif
Being a 'mean' Mom and such.... :thumbsup2

2. You have GOT to tell us what he wanted to see :hyper:

Hey all.....it was Kaitlyn's 12th birthday that we celebrated at the HRH in April 07........not to mention Frank's 5th in October of 06 :rolleyes1 Kait wants to go again for her big 13th birthday this year (may have to drive it if this stinkin airfare doesn't come down :headache: ) In hindsight, should have asked for Southwest gift cards for Christmas rather than Home Depot ones :rotfl:

Here is what they sent her to "celebrate" :

gee, i think i sent the right cow pens..........

Yes, and I still LOVE them!

Want a quick cow lesson? Probably not, but since I learned this crap after I moved out to the boonies, you guys get to learn it too.

You can tell dairy cows from beef cows if you just learn the basic body shapes:

There. Now go forth and spread this incredible usless knowledge...

Anyone think making or having shirts made for a sweet 16 at IOA/USF is crazy? I wanted to make shirts for us during our trip and wear them on her actual birthday . Any thoughts :confused3 ???

I think having shirts made is a great idea! You might just catch the eye of a TM and get something special. I remember somebody saying they wore a birthday shirt and a TM got everyone in line for a ride to sing Happy Birthday to them. Nothing may happen, you never know, but at least you'll have a special memory. Think of the cute pictures. I would definitely do it.

Morning Homies, rise and shine! OK, at least rise..

I am rising, but I ain't shining. :p

HOTEL REVIEW: The Holiday Inn is actually very nice. Good breakfast. Also the rooms are big (for just me) and bathroom is nice size. The best thing is I can't believe how smart I am in the mornings!;)

:lmao: :lmao: :lmao:

Planning on doing any brain surgery later? Those are clever commercials.

Tricia - Sorry about all the medical expenses. Very few of our clients get to use the medical deduction for taxes. I do a quick calculation and tell them how much the amount has to be, so they don't spend a bunch of time looking for receipts they will never get to deduct. I guess the bright side is since you had to endure and PAY them, you at least get to deduct them.

This will be the second year in a row that we get to claim the medical deduction. At the rate 2008 is starting? Yeah, we'll probably get it next year too.

I know it is a rare thing. I have saved ALL our receipts (drugs, doctors, etc) because I know it may raise a red flag somewhere and get us one of those dreaded audit notices.

Funny incident - went to make a purchase on card i used rarely @ Dicks; it was declined. Called immediately, evidently; I had just purchased an Eccho snowboard (top of the line) and 1 year of AOL access.:rolleyes1

Here's mine. Phone rings at home. An automated message tells me that it is Citibank fraud alert and suspicious activity has taken place on my card. I am urged to call the customer service number on the back of my card. WTH?

Well, since it wasn't asking me for my account number or anything like that AND it was telling me to call the 800 number on my card, I did.

Turns out 5 transactions had been keyed in on my card in the past hour (keyed as in entered manually at a card machine, no swipe, no internet). I had just bought 2 bus tickets from New York to Texas, a handful of crap at a gas station, several bottles of liquor, and some clothing. None of the charges were much. Maybe $100 or so per transaction? The customer service rep read back to my last charge, made her notes, closed the account and told me exactly what I had to do in order to remove the charges. I had a new card the next day.

What it is one of those cards they put your tax refund on and they had sent me a new one but the tax place was having trouble with them so they put it on the old one so I guess where I had not used it since the end of june the card must have assumed it was stolen cause we used it earlier for 2 small purchases it went thru.

I hope you get it all staightened out. It sounds like you've got a good vacation plan going! :wizard:

 & :lmao: ..... killer beagle image

It was actually pretty funny. The puppy is on a chain, since she won't mind and keeps running off (or is it that the beagle keeps trying to herd her to the road?:confused3 ) but she was trying to go after it herself. The beagle went after him but wouldn't get to close to it. I was out there, came and got oldest ds (who went and got the shotgun) and that coyote would not run off. He would go a little wasy and then stop and turn to watch us. He has been back once or twice since and he is huge. It's just not normal for them to come out in the middle of the day and come into a yard then not run away.

You deserve an award :goodvibes :grouphug:

Ah thanks! :flower3:

Loved the story.... :thumbsup2 that "tough love" thing has a funny way of working out....

2.gif
good for you and your 'tough love' ;)

Tough love is very hard but sometimes it is necessay. I know it made a difference with Chris.

Sorry...gotta agree with the others....absolutely ridiculous.... I cannot imagine Ryan reading a Harry Potter book or anything of the such.... even IF she's at a higher reading level like that.....I agree to have a little chat and visit your neighbor if you don't get any satisfaction :thumbsup2

Well I talked to the neighbor last night, seems she is having terrible trouble with this teacher maning mean to her son. She has already been to the school several times & her & dh were going back this morning. He son had 6 hours of homework Tuesday night & 4 hours last night. It sounds like he is right at the third grade level from the scores she was telling me but the teacher does not want to help him when he isn't understanding something. It just all gets sent home for the parents to teach. :scared1:

Ally stayed home Tuesday and she started on her homework & makeup work right at 3:30 yesterday, took a break for dinner and a snack then went to meeting with me & dh. She finished her homework at 11:00 last night. Her total break time was about and 1:30. That is 6 hours of work for a very intelligent child. Don't know but it seems to me this teacher is getting out of control. Guess I will be going to talk to her tomorrow since she is already being talked to today.

Actually, I see both points here.... I see Ally's that the way she was doing it was "her way" of learning....however, the teacher was going for the 'repetition' thing....nonetheless, no need to take the paper and throw it away....especially if she knows how to spell them! She could have 'talked' to her and explained that it was fine this time, but to do it the way she wanted the next time....:sad2:

I do too. I was able to immediatley tell Ally she must not have been following directions and that she needed to do what the teacher said. In my mind though I was saying some very bad words.

Those have already been taken care of.

That's good.

OK, I am starting to catch up, but I'm not going to have time to catch up on everything just yet because I am heading in for my last night of work before I start my WEEKEND AT 7 AM TOMORROW MORNING! Woot!

But first, I have to say, Lori, you are my hero .... I cannot believe how many pages you've gone back to catch up!

Thanks Jodie! Does that mean I can cross making a difference in the world off my bucket list. I am someones hero.

Lori, I am certified to teach English in Grades 7 - 12, and this is wrong. Just because your daughter can read at that level doesn't mean she has the maturity or interest to do so. First of all, being able to read at a certain level doesn't mean that she is able or mature enough to comprehend themes at a greater grade level. She may understand the words, but not the overall concept.

As for the spelling: the teacher was ridiculous. All students learn different ways, and we were taught to be especially sensitive to that. Unless there was a reason that the teacher gave the directions that specific way, she should not have been penalized.

I would have a meeting with the teacher over these things. I am pretty sensitive to the plight of teachers these days, given the number or helicopter parents out there who try to butt in, but I think these are pretty legitimate concerns, and I would address them.

Thanks Jodie. It is great to have you guys help me think through this and reinforce my belief that it is wrong. I will be talking to her. I know that one way or another I will get it fixed, it helps to know the superintendent.

But, after my rant (ty for that), I woke up to a full string of emails from all my friends from graduate school. :goodvibes I had been thinking about them and thinking it was time to send out a message to the masses, and I was so excited and so happy to hear from them. :thumbsup2

That is always so special. Glad they were there and made you feel better. So did you send out an email or was that the universe at work?

lucky....ours is just under $4/gal here :sad2:

It is right at $4 a gallon here too but this store almost always has some kind on sale for less than $3. They drink so much that they get whatever I buy them. Doesn't matter to me if it is whole or fat free.

well...no....it has to be that homogenized thing first ;)

My great grandparents still had cows they milked when I was little. I remember them churning butter in the kitchen. I remember them giving me a glass of that nasty stuff to drink. YUCK! :headache:

WHAT!?!? There are other threads on here?? :confused3

Well there is Mac's "test" thread and I do have to keep an eye on things on the DVC boards so I will be in the know!

Yep....mortgage interest will most definately help.....altho, we are at the point where we pay more in taxes and principle than interest, so that isn't really gonna help us :headache: (...then again, eliminating a mortgage payment altogether in the foreseeable future is pretty kewl too :thumbsup2 )

Yes eliminating that mortgage payment will be very nice.

is it the dis or me?

i have been trying off and on since about 3 today to read and post here on the thread.

i can not for the life of me to get the thread to open thru my email notifications.

i came in the back door by the UO forum direct.
even then, a lengthy wait to post.

rose, i'll try again to post the links.
i had them on another page and i know if i go to it, i will be knocked out of the thread again.

todd, so glad you are back.
if anyone is giving you trouble, let me know.
i can hurt them.
and i will take bubba along with me as he is the karate expert.

i'll just talk the person to death..............

well, have been trying to post this message for the last 15 minutes.
i'm stubborn enough to hang in there and not close it out before it goes to post.

even if it runs into the American Idol time.................that's how stubborn i can be.

well AI is over and i am still trying to get this to post.

It finally posted!

Was this the same girl/server who gave you a hard time about the DDP and "cleared" all your dining off it?? Kinda had to think it was her making those false charges....duh.....

Janet's right tho....credit card companies look for "out of the ordinary" stuff....

Here's my story: Been using the same Disney Visa since 2005...and we use it for everything.... On my way home on a Friday night from work, DH gets a call here at home from Chase (credit card company). They wouldn't talk to him, cuz I am primarly cardholder, so I called them as soon as I walked in the door. They asked if i charged $800 of office furniture in Ohio?? :confused3 Uh...no. So, they immediately deactivated our cards and were sending us new ones.....which took forever cuz this was around Thanksgiving and the holiday slowed them down and then the mail :headache: ...... When I got my statement, i also had 2 other fraudulent charges on it.... $50 application fee to University of Oregon :confused3 and $39.95 to some online dating service in NY :confused3 (KFed???) If Chase had NOT caught these suspicious "out of state" "strange" "large amount" charges, I'd been toast. Long story short....i filled out paperwork and have had NO problem since.... I really have to thank Chase, if THEY had not caught it right away, they could have maxxed our card out and then WE would have had a problem when WE tried to buy something! Also, due to a mess up at RPR our first year, we learned to always take a back up credit card on vacation.....NEVER just 1!!!! :thumbsup2 And, ever since these incidents....I always call the credit card company ahead of time and give them our travel dates :thumbsup2

i pay $3.07 for a half gallon of 2%....

i thought you were the designated numbers homie.....

I don't know what it is for a 1/2 gallon but it isn't that much. :headache:

Oh man you passed 31,000 and we missed it!

How bout we celebrate now!

A father passing by his son's bedroom was astonished to see the bed nicely made up and everything neat and tidy. Then he saw an envelope propped up prominently on the pillow. It was addressed, "Dad". With the worst premonition, he opened the envelope and read the letter with trembling hands.

Dear Dad,

It is with great regret and sorrow that I'm writing you. I had to elope with my new girlfriend because I wanted to avoid a scene with you and Mom.
I've been finding real passion with Joan and she is so nice. I knew you would not approve of her because of all her piercing, tattoos, and her tight motorcycle clothes and because she is so much older than I am.

But it's not only the passion, Dad, she is pregnant. Joan says that we are going to be very happy. She owns a trailer in the woods and has a stack of firewood, enough for the whole winter. We share a dream of having many more children.

Joan has opened my eyes to the fact that marijuana doesn't really hurt anyone. We'll be growing it and trading it with the other people in the commune for all the cocaine and ecstasy we want. In the meantime, We will pray that science will find a cure for AIDS so Joan can get better; she sure deserves it !

Don't worry Dad, I am 15 years old now and I know how to take care of myself. Someday, I'm sure we'll be back to visit so you can get to know your grandchildren.

Your son,
Chad

P.S. Dad, none of the above is true.I'm over at Tom's house. I just wanted to remind you that there are worse thiings in life than the report card that is in my desk drawer. I love you!
Call when it is safe for me to come home.

Ah the smart@ss son! I could just see Christopher pulling something like that in his days. It is true though.

I filed my taxes too soon. I CAN deduct my student loan payments and can get MORE $$$ back.

D'oh!

Oh man!

WE are at club level at the HRH and I did e-mail them and never got an answer yet . i am going to e-mail one more time but then i am going to call .

I am going to do the t-shirts and hope that she may get something . We really are looking forward to the trip This is our first stay at club level. I think I am going to look into lunch at mythos and dinner at margaritaville .

Yummy! It is going to be a great trip.

Good Morning Fletcher!

I always feel so smart when I stay in a Holiday Inn Express too. And I love the beds!

Today is Thursday - only one more day and get to be home Friday night. (and then get to work Saturday!)

Parenting Story for Marci: (by the way, you are not unreasonable)

Anyway, we argued and cried for about 45 minutes. And then the phone calls start coming in. Friend #1 is not allowed to go. Friend #2 is not allowed to go. Basically, no one was allowed to go either!!!:confused3

DS finally straightened up.

Moral of the story is "STICK TO YOUR GUNS".

And as I always say, did your parents let you do everything you wanted??

That would be a "NO" for me.

:) :) Jennifer:) :)

Have a nice day homies!

Glad you will be back home tomorrow. Have safe travels.

Isn't funny how kids will try to play how everyone else gets to off of their parents. Even funnier when it doesn't work and they all get told no!

just noticed, the chimp is wearing a fez:laughing: . youngest DS was so tempted to spend his souvieneer $ on one in Epcot years ago...i told him to save his $ & just join the Shriners (can do good works & drive funny little cars!)

lori - yea for sis on the RE mags, is it type where agents pay X amount of $ to have listings featured? Advertising was one of my biggest expenses when i was active as a realtor (license in escrow, just do referrals now); however, it was essential. Sellers demand it and it churns up buyer referrals too:thumbsup2 . Local newspaper has it cornered in our area.

I always enjoyed seeing the Shriners in parades. We don't ever see them anymore. Those little cars were the cutest.

The realtors in Stillwater advertise every piece of property every month. One of them has 18 pages a month and another has 12. They call it their real estate bible. The magazine is about 84 pages a month. She makes a killing off of it.

st L - re CC

re fraud - banks look for patterns of usage:

* think usage (large purchases after months of non-use)

* type of transaction vs past transactions (retail, travel)

* $ amount

* multiple transactions

fyi, i've had different CC accounts compromised several times over the last few years...at least 5 times.

:scared1: I would have had a stroke. Glad you had other cards with you.

Kait wants to go again for her big 13th birthday this year (may have to drive it if this stinkin airfare doesn't come down :headache: ) In hindsight, should have asked for Southwest gift cards for Christmas rather than Home Depot ones :rotfl:

Ya know Tracie...with a family of FIVE, might NOT be a bad idea to ask for SW gift cards....I think this year was the first time I saw them in Walmart... couldn't believe my eyes!!! Who'da thunk it?? :confused3 What does SW want for air for your travel times??? (I can't believe that not only are our flights still AVAILABLE, but only about $10 more in price :confused3 )

Want a quick cow lesson? Probably not, but since I learned this crap after I moved out to the boonies, you guys get to learn it too.

You can tell dairy cows from beef cows if you just learn the basic body shapes:

There. Now go forth and spread this incredible usless knowledge...

See...they are watchin' out for their money....they caught it quick...and I'm guessing since it was "keyed" in it was a 'red flag'..... Makes ya wonder how they get our info in the first place? :confused3 (Like MY Visa is used for everything...but not internet purchases...different card for that ;) )

So....how was your bus trip? :confused3

So...lemme get this straight...that is as much homework as sitting in skool all day (almost)?? :confused3 That is utterly ridiculous.... :sad2: I thought kids were supposed to have 10 minutes worth of homework equivalent to the grade they're in....3rd grade would be 30 minutes?? Thought it was something like that....SIX hours of homework is not right...heck, by the time Bubba gets home, eats, does activity and gets ready for bed, it's LESS than 6 hours :sad2: Something needs to be done, I agree it's over the top!

I am glad you are getting to stay at RPR for couple of days. At least you will have three days of FOTL. Good luck with the CC.

Morning Jodie! Glad your weekend is here.

Oh and I had forgot about the bag. Sorry the gag was ruined.

I was wanting to know about the swim diapers. Did you get that striaghtened out and give them to both sets of expectant parents?

Hey all.....it was Kaitlyn's 12th birthday that we celebrated at the HRH in April 07........not to mention Frank's 5th in October of 06 :rolleyes1 Kait wants to go again for her big 13th birthday this year (may have to drive it if this stinkin airfare doesn't come down :headache: ) In hindsight, should have asked for Southwest gift cards for Christmas rather than Home Depot ones :rotfl:

Here is what they sent her to "celebrate" :

That was kewl. I bet she was in heaven.

Here's mine. Phone rings at home. An automated message tells me that it is Citibank fraud alert and suspicious activity has taken place on my card. I am urged to call the customer service number on the back of my card. WTH?

Can they not track it back to the person that purchased the ticket? I would think that would be easy to do.

Thanks Jodie! Does that mean I can cross making a difference in the world off my bucket list. I am someones hero.

i would say so ::yes::

I don't know what it is for a 1/2 gallon but it isn't that much. :headache:

Oh man you passed 31,000 and we missed it!

How bout we celebrate now!

I think our gallons of milk are just under $4 .... half of that would be around $2....her half gallon is $3!! Seems kinda steep to me :scared: (then again, I'm no math whiz either!)

Ya know...I saw Mac and Janet roll up their post count...31K for mac and 9800 for Janet....I meant to post :cheer2:  :cheer2:  :cheer2: but forgot (ya can't see post counts when you're replying :headache: )

So....YAY for you guys!!!!

UGH! Dup post. Oh well I had something else to say anyway.

Now this may show you all that I'm not so bright but I really do disagree with this...

Did you all know that a square is a rectangle?
