does the doc think you have a bone chip or a nerve that has pressure on it?
let us know ..........

its a good thing you got a pushed up appointment

Wew, Penny, I hope things go well for you. Is this foot check because of the new hit or because the air cast isn't helping or what? Good luck.

And, NO, I hadn't heard about Heath Ledger. I had a mad crush on him when he was on that short lived Fox show Roar and then got all excited when I realized that he had a thing for older women (look at his dating record). He and Michelle Williams had a baby not that long ago, maybe 1 or 2 years? Poor little girl. She'll never know her daddy. :guilty:

Cute pics Barb!

I don't know if I had mentioned this before, but I had gotten the Magic Bullet for Xmas. We christened it last night during the game with shakes and smoothies.....let me tell you ladies and gents, it is worth ever penny!!!!

I just enjoyed a delicious chocolate shake and the DF is having a fruity smoothie. Cant wait to try the mixed drinks!!

AMEN! DH got me one for Christmas 2006 and we absolutely love it. DH ordered ours from the infomercial, so he got 2 of everything. We have used it ALOT since the first of the year. We always keep frozen fruit, etc on hand to whip up a quick smoothie. I've made frozen coffee drinks with it as well (saved myself $5 on that Starbucks drink!!) I've grated cheese and a few other things in it. Here's the thing though. . .it's really not 1.. 2.. 3.. like the infomercial says.

tricia - bless you:goodvibes those sites are fantastic, i signed him up; would be cool to hear from any of his buds still around; will let you know.

the tribute was so sweet, ur dad was a good lookin' dude:thumbsup2 . luv the pic where's he's studying the star wars toy...was it on his wish list or was he trying to figure out what the heck it was lol?

DS played alot today in the BB game, he shot & scored & stole the ball & rebounded:banana:

funny, he called into me whilst i was cooking dinner, that mr. Ledger has died...followed by: it was probably an OD...sad that they automatically think that @ 14. Even sader to think of such a waste of a talented life.

The Star Wars thing was a Darth Vader bank. You put in a coin and the "You are not a Jedi, yet" speech played, complete with Darth raising his light saber at the end. Really cool. My dad has this thing about trying to figure out how stuff worked. He probably studied that bank for an hour trying to figure out where the trigger mechanism was and how it was timed to move with the speech. He always picked out one of our things to "examine" each Christmas. Also, the pictures of him at Disney World were an inside joke. He HATED Disney World. Could NOT figure out why my mom (and the rest of us) drug him back year after year. I can still hear him, "Stand in line to watch a bunch of robots and give the greedy mouse more money. If I just hand each of you a couple hundred dollars, can I stay home?"

almost show time.
7 more minutes.........it's on FOX station

you're late getting home from skool today kfish.
was it a detention again......?

GOOD MORNING, EVERYONE!!!!!

Oh, wait, I'm about 10 hours too early ... it's only "morning" for me!

Need to catch up as I've only read the last page, but poor Mr. Brokeback. They happen in 3s you know. First, Brad Renfro, now Heath Ledger. Who is next? Poor little Mathilda.

Penny, good luck with your bone scan. Katie, have fun at swim practice. Mac, have fun with American Idol. Sending you a PM too about something ....

Have to go back and catch up.

Only other news I woke up to is that my brother and SIL are having a girl. :hippie: Thought for sure it'd be a boy for some reason!

OMG, Janet, your dad was a turret gunner?! Wow, no wonder he never talked about it. Tricia, your dad was so handsome as a young man (I didn't get to watch the whole thing here ... my connection is crud and it kept breaking up. Will try again later). My grandfather was a WWII vet also. He was shot and almost had his toes amputated for frostbite, but he wouldn't let them do it. His toes were UGLY but they were still there! He never really talked about the war either. And I never really brought it up because he suffered from terrible nightmares up until the time he died. :(

Marcie, so I am not alone in my "area for development," eh? I am not in any of the cliques you mentioned. And, not to top you or anything, but my brown shag is WAY worse than yours! Way worse. Thick shag with light and dark brown mixed together. High pile. Nasty! That is currently Mike's work out room though, and I never go down there, so I don't care! :snooty: Glad your son caught the bus!

Wendy, my aunt loves her Magic Bullet! Will have to check that out! Though I am not really coordinated, and if it's not 1-2-3, then maybe it's not for me. :upsidedow

why oh why do folks still keep comparing Uni to DW???

why????/

it just irks me. they are NOT anything alike.
okay. rant over. just a little irritated i guess.

i am really begining to think my avatar fits rather well.

all the new season l o s t spoilers are in it.

Night shift checkin in yawl........

Then this morning, DS14 obviously got up, showered, and laid back down to watch TV and fell asleep.

aahhhh....thanks for recalling the memory for me :rolleyes1

only areas in my abode that have decent HW floors are the bedrooms. When we 1st moved in years ago, master BR had avocado green & yellow striped wall paper & shag carpet to match:eek: . Funds were short, so we decided to place our huge water bed over the carpet (think a pad) and tear up most of the rest; leaving carpet on each side of the bed.

fast forward....even now that we have a replacement/traditional mattress we haven't removed either the carpet or wall paper. we tried to strip the wall paper & the plaster came off; put an end to that bright idea. DH refuses to paint over it and i won't let him rip the plaster off the walls for fear it will become one of his unfinished projects.:rolleyes1

neither of us shows signs of cracking, afraid i'll die (hopefully) years from now in bed and the rescue crew will make fun of my BRs decor.:upsidedow

 :lmao: having a California King waterbed myself, I can totally imagine that :lmao: Only time you can paint or change carpet is when you have to 'break down' the bed :guilty:

Got pix? :rolleyes1
