Tricia: So if I'm understanding this correctly, I have to make an appointment with the Fairy.... you think I'll get a bonus for my crown???

Advice for tooth work....NOVACAINE, NOVACAINE, NOVACAINE!

Soooo....painting my nails black for tomorrow...gonna be a pirate arrrrrrrrr

I will try and get pics!

Hey everyone! Wow did you guys yak a lot today.

I am absolutely beat tonight, very long day. There is no way I can comment on all the yakking but I wanted to let everyone know that things went very well for dad today. You know it is going to be good when walking in to the court house you hear the opposing lawyer telling another lawyer that he is on his way in to get kicked around by your lawyer. :cool1:

Sad thing is dad's offer to soon to be ex-step monster was very generous but her greedy butt wouldn't take it. Now she is going to be lucky to get 1/3 of the original offer!!!!:goodvibes

I spent the rest of the day getting Michael a vehicle and runing things back and forth. I am now going to go to bed and crash!

See you all tomorrow.

Hey everybody!

Just checkin' in right quick...we won our game (DS10's game that is) tonight 28 to 14!!!:woohoo: And thank goodness there was no mama drama at this game tonight.... His team is undefeated for the season!!! :woohoo: :yay: :dance3: He's not going to get to play allstars, since he's in the 5th grade and only 6th graders are getting to play in his league, but that's ok with me. You should have seen the boys after the game, they were doing flips on the field! They were so proud to go undefeated!

HAPPY HALLOWEEN TO THE HOMIES!!!

Don't know if I'll be back to post again today.
Gotta go to the school Halloween parade in early afternoon.

Tooth Fairy came here last night for Matthew. Almost didn't come- as almost forgot
Too much going on here, so understand if Tooth Fairy almost forgot.

I'll try to read up later what I missed.

Mornin' homies!

Rose, if your tooth fairy just almost forgot, don't sweat it! Our tooth fairy is sorry and has been known to forget.....:rolleyes1

Marcie, your pumpkin story was sooooooo funny!:lmao: Barb's right about the smarter kids lacking common sense (at least some of them do). It reminds me of my DS13. He hasn't been doing very well at remembering to do his school assignments (or losing them....) and his literacy teacher and I have been exchanging e-mails on what he was supposed to be doing. Mind you that they looped their teachers and they have the same core subject teachers that they had last year and also that we had signed him up for regular literacy (that's what they're calling language arts and reading here now) and she insisted that he was in her advanced class. Anyway, he had an assignment that she e-mailed me about and he was supposed to choose part of this particular assignment to re-write in his best handwriting. Here's how it went:

Me: Did you finish that assignment?
Zack: Uh huh...
Me: Can I see it?
Zack: Here it is... (and he shows me his original assignment...one sheet of paper)
Me: So where is the one that you chose to perfect and re-write?
Zack: It's number 2 on that sheet.
Me: OK, so where is it rewritten.
Zack: Right there (looking at me like he thinks I'm stupid) I erased it and re-wrote it in my best handwriting.
Me: ZACK! You were supposed to re-write it on another sheet of paper!
Zack: MOM.....you didn't tell me that!

Where did I get this kid?????

Sorry Jodie! More than 10 words......:rolleyes1

:woohoo: Happy Halloween all, have a ghoulishly delightful day!

grinning ghosts come out to socialize:banana:

Here's a joke for you....

A blonde is weedeating and accidentally whacks her cat’s tail off.
5.gif
She quickly scoops up her precious kitty along with the tail and takes her to Wal-Mart………..

I know you’re asking why WAL-MART???:confused3

Well Wal-Mart is the largest RETAILER in the World!:rotfl2: :rolleyes1

Janet, why do you have a half a naner in your siggie?

Mac, you are so sweet to do all that for your church lady's kitties! I can't imagine making that many trips in one day. You're a better woman than I am!

Lori:cool1: It sounds like things are looking up for your dad! That's great news! I hope everything goes well with Michael and his vehicle!

Just wanted to pop on and say hi to every one. Got up at about 2 this morning with a massive migraine and spent the rest of the early morning in the bathroom (need a puking smilie, but don't feel well enough to look one up) or sitting in my recliner with a cold towel on my head trying not to move or ending up back in the bathroom. Finally got to sleep about 11 today & just woke from a very nice nap feeling better.

I will try to catch up on another day.

Congrats to DS Allison.

HAPPY HALLOWEEN EVERYONE!

HAPPY HALLOWEENIE everyone!

Hope everyone has a good day! Me? I'm still sick....still not feeling well  Fell asleep at 10:30 last nite, eyeballs popped open 2:30am... didn't get back to sleep till 6, got up at 7am. Can't be good  I guess walking around the neighborhood tonite trick or treating should make me sicker and tireder (is that a word? eh, I don't care....)

Saw Bubba in his Halloween parade at school....lots of pirates this year and "pop stars" for the gals....not as many :charac4: as one would think.... Funny how you can tell kindergarten kids from the 4th graders....at kindergarten age, they are all tv/movie characters and 'cute'....4th grade...forget it! :sad2: Scary, sexy, etc......

Raven...that is so nice what you do for your friend and her cats. When I was growing up, we had a cat on a feeding schedule like that. :headache: When I got my own cat, I left her dry food all day so she could eat at her leisure...I wasn't going to 'chain' myself to feeding schedule....forget it! Worked out good for us......

Janet...pix of your house please?? We'd like to see all your hard work....

KFed...would LOVE to see your pix..At the skool parade, the pirates I saw had black lipstick on:scared: uh...elementary school.....we are dressing like pirates for the Disney cruise pirate night next summer.....(DH wants us to dress like pirates tonite to "try it out", but not so sure feeling this crappy)

First you have to find me...

*gets in DeLorean, sets year* 88 M P H!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Now, I KNOW you know they gave that car away....and it wasn't to you

.... wanted to let everyone know that things went very well for dad today. You know it is going to be good when walking in to the court house you hear the opposing lawyer telling another lawyer that he is on his way in to get kicked around by your lawyer. :cool1:

Thanks for the update!! Great to hear!! Guess your Dad is pretty pleased with himself...eh?? Is that it for hearings and such....is it done and settled? btw...glad to hear the headache is better....we coulda had a card game early this morning.... :scratchin

Alright!! Way to go! :woohoo: Also glad to hear no "mama drama" :rotfl: ..... Hopefully they'll get a plaque or trophy or some kind of recognition for their awesome season..... Isn't he glad he stuck with it?? I remember he was ready to quit not too long ago

.....smarter kids lacking common sense (at least some of them do). It reminds me of my DS13. He hasn't been doing very well at remembering to do his school assignments (or losing them....) and his literacy teacher and I have been exchanging e-mails on what he was supposed to be doing. :lmao: yep....sounds like MY house :rolleyes1
And the Walmart joke....uh, c'mon..... And to answer your question (cuz I'm sure we have seen the last of Janet for today....she'll be getting dressed for trick or treaters and handin' out candies...) her 'nanner got "cut off" automatically since the new sig guideline/rules went into effect....if you're out of the 'space allotted', it automatically cuts it off  ...so, she thought the 1/2 nanner was kinda cool.... (which, I must admit, IS!)

Jodie...sorry I exceeded my wordage....but you don't have to reply to me special...don't fret it! :thumbsup2 We know you read.... and we've all "been there, can't post that much".....

Well, either going to rest, or drag some "autumn" stuff out of the attic..... gotta get the pumpkin out for Bubba's candy tonite too.....looks like the attic..... :guilty:

Have a great day all!

Janet, why do you have a half a naner in your siggie?
cause i'm a siggie hog @ heart:lmao:  wanted to throw some pixie dust in the wind to push the CRV along for a bit;) sorta looks creepy-cool?

can't wait to steal your re-tailer joke:rotfl:

barb - don't go into the attic:scared1: that's where the movie psychos always lurk lol
getting ready to go install the batteries in the sets of eyeballs i stick in the bushes:) ; camera is ready. Of course, we haven't gotten around to installing the card reader yet.:rolleyes1

my bad dog ate my pumpkin's face off, i had to cut the lid up & try to piece it...bad dog.

lori - be well soon.

off to hopefully scare the kids silly.

way OT Q:

i've been on the fence as to purchasing a garment bag for cruise; this will be the 1st time we drag along a couple suits & gowns, etc.

today is last day for 20% off @ shoebuy...

we usually lug 3 of the biggest rolling bags you're allowed to take & i thought i could stuff all the dress clothes in one or two without much effort & they'd be secure with the straps.

will i be sorry? will i be ironing madly in the laundry room? steer me into the light!:thumbsup2

Janet - does your cruise line HAVE laundry rooms? Just make sure - I know Princess does, Royal Caribbean did NOT. I had to bring a tiny portable iron since I was traveling with our whole family and there was no way something wasn't going to get crunched!

Happy Halloween all! Just hanging out at work here (my first time posting from work - everyone else left early for Halloween stuff!) waiting until 4:30 to head home to my guys. They'll be Things 1-3 for the brief trick-or-treating they'll do! DS14 and I bought a can of blue silly string to spray on their heads to simulate the blue hair (I opted against the $20 wigs at Universal)! I'll be sure to get a pic or two. I have to use up DS12's camera from camp last week because if you want to submit pics, they have to be in by Friday for a CD they're making. There are about 8 pics left so I'll finish it off somehow, so I can process it tomorrow!

Everyone have fun tonight! Be safe! Don't eat too much candy! (Probably the most dangerous part!).

BM, I hate calling you that .... seems like I should be calling Tricia that instead  .... anyway, Barb, hope you start to feel better soon!

Alison, I don't think anyone is going to follow my 10-word rule ... not even me!

Rose, wow, Tooth Fairy ..... don't worry about almost forgetting. Almost only counts in horseshoes!

Mac, know what you mean ... I probably couldn't take the $$ either for babysitting! Have fun doing it! AND where's my crib sheet?! :lmao:

Janet, we have a garment bag we use for cruises. Keeps the clothes nice for the most part. Make sure you put the clothes in dry cleaner bags before you pack them... helps to keep the wrinkles out! Your cruise is coming up, baby!

Tricia, enjoying your trippie!

Lori, hope your soon-to-be ex STEPMONSTER gets what's a-coming to her! :goodvibes

Just getting ready for the kids to come trick or treating. Suppose I should get dressed ...:scared1:

Hey, one thing ... think I am getting a nasty sty in my eye. Does anyone get these? Anything homeopathic I can do for it?

HAPPY HALLOWEEN ALL!

yes jodie there is.
when i return, i will tell....

tomorrow i take one son to chgo airport. he's going to CA for a 4 day weekend.

HAPPY
Halloween.gif

What a fun day! I love dressing up, the kids get such a kick!!!

The best costume we had today was Queen Elizabeth I. One of our seniors actually made a large dress and put her hair up in that old-time way. Wish I had gotten a pic of her :(

I'm going to try and load my costume pic now....wish me luck!

kind of like her mom dropping the milk bottle and the dad yelling.....

And I totally got it! :goodvibes

BTW, trick or treat this year was unreal! It's only for 2 hours in my town, and I usually have only a dozen kids and way too much candy left over. I don't know if they bussed them in or what, but I actually had to turn out my light 35 minutes before trick or treat was over. This is the first time I've run out of candy in what has to be 6 years. :scared1: That sucked. Especially since Mike had picked out what I thought was too much candy, and told him to put some back. I shouldn't have done that. :headache:

Oh, and can I just say, that my Alex is a black cat and of course begged to go outside during trick or treat. Have you ever tried explaining to a cat that this is the one day of the year where I can't let him out?
