to all the peeps that are sick.
LOL...I've been busy with house stuff and haven't been online much due to internet issues.Todd - just like with Mike, I am hoping the weather cools off for you soon, without too much rain! Thought we were going to have to send out the search party for you!!!

Yeah...I hope so too!With all the visits we have had we finally got to see a shuttle launch this summer. It was way cool to see!![]()
I hope your temps cool off soon. Ours finally did on Sunday. Now I just hope they don't shoot back up.

Tracie - Just to let you know, I spent many falls in the ER for asthma in junior high/high school. After high school, I only had 3 trips to the ER for asthma in 25 years.I have been to the ER with Cbean more times than I care to count, but not because of accidents, because of her asthma
Warm thoughts to you and Carol. Our family experienced the chemo/radiation treatments.
no. So, the boys were there for about 40 minutes and coach called it...it just started raining heavier and heavier and it was damp and cold... just not good. I was moanin' the whole time how much I love my son to sit outside in those conditions
Sitting with a heavy coat, blanket on my lap WITH an umbrella is NOT my idea of a 'fun' evening...however, I will do whatever I have to do to support and be there for Bubba....so, Todd....I'd gladly trade you weather in a heartbeat about now
Have a fab time...and enjoy the heat, cuz it's barely in the 60's and rainy here at home
) Look forward to trippies and pictures....and don't worry about the 'dumb move' going to work tomorrow....we've all done that! (Besides you thought you'd be home in plenty of time to get some rest
)
I would be afraid they would pull the same stunt again down the road...but, with all the "other opportunities" on the table...ball just might be in his court
A good day to stay snuggled up in bed at home!
I know I'm busy...but I might be able to find time for a game (on the weekend) just maybe not THAT particular game..... Yes, it's busy here, but life is worth it!!! (Oh, and I come to find out, indoor soccer starts the week after outdoor is over....no break!)
)
Something about that is just not right! And....where's wet day???
But, luckily at his age, kids are brutally honest and won't hold anything back. Busy yourself this week and get all done that you need to...this weekend will be your relaxing reward! You & Brad will have a great time! (Remember "grown-up time"?
)
Sorry, forgot to say in any of my posts. His job title is Staff Accountant. At his previous job, he was a staff and senior accountant for a small mortgage co. He became senior accountant for 2 yrs after alot of people got laid off about 2 yrs ago. THen DH got laid off at the end of June of this yr w/ no severence pay whatsoever. He is working as a temp, supposed to go permanent soon, not sure how soon yet. I guess the co. he is working at, the CEO is very perfectionistic, so right now, we have no clue when DH is going permanent. Been working temp there for a little over 2 months now. The recruiter from Accountemps that got him this job says he should be offered the perm position soon. DH doesn't have a bachelors degree. He has his associates degree in accounting, but he has 20 yrs experience in accounting.Rose - is your husband an accountant - I didn't read all the backpages, so not sure what type of job he's looking for.

Tricia - I hope everything is okay with Joshua. I can't wait to hear all about the race!!! Oh and aren't mothers just wonderful! Does she live with you or just nearby?
I took Ally to a pumpkin patch this evening. It was really a lot of fun. There was a hay maze, a corn maze, a hay ride, petting zoo, and we each got to pick a pumpin to take home. Of course I did not have my camera with me so there are no pics to show.
i'm back and read what i missed the last 5 days.
tricia, i hope carol has a smooth week with her treatment.

I hope everything is okay with Joshua too. Could be anything. Low iron... blood sugar... blood pressure... inner ear... who knows?
His class field trip to the pumpkin farm got cancelled today because of rain. I guess we'll be making it up to him with a trip to the local farm in a few days.
