Which magnet were you not able to get?I wasn't able to get a magnet. I was told they would get another delivery the day that I am leaving. So, it just wasn't meant to be for me.
I did go around to all the stops to collect postcards which was fun. There are very different personalities in each area. Some were very happy and wanted to chat about the parks and some acted like it was a major inconvenience that I asked for a postcard. I feel like Disney is hiring anybody these days.
I meant ornament. They were out of ornaments but expecting a restock.Which magnet were you not able to get?
They were passive aggressive with me for the zooptopia postcards. I never claimed to be direct and they gave them to me while chatting before verifying, then they said those were for direct only and I said OK have them back. I srsly didnt care about those. And then they got all weird and told me it was fine.I wasn't able to get a magnet. I was told they would get another delivery the day that I am leaving. So, it just wasn't meant to be for me.

Are you resale only? That def wasnt my experience in OctoberWhen we stopped by DCA Vineyard Vines (or whatever it is called) they gave us a long Zootopia print, postcards, and a couple other prints. When we went to the Holiday Open House at VDH and did a room tour, they gave us a couple holiday magic band sliders, ornaments, wood coasters, and a drawstring bag. They were very welcoming at the Open House!
yes, currently resale only. It was a little awkward at DCA and just walked away with papers/prints but we took that time to schedule a tour for our departure day during their open house at VDH. The Holiday Open House was were the real swag was. They had gingerbread cookies and cocoa in the VDH lobby and a few guides there showing off rooms and handing out the ornaments and sliders. During our room tour, the guide handed us the drawstring bag with all the other goodies. He even offered to drive us back to VGC in his golf cart. It was really nice. Are you resale only? What is the holiday open house? I would like the magic band sliders if its not an issue for themWere staying at VDH soon
Thats awesome, im glad they treated you as a member paying the same annual dues as everyone else as they shouldyes, currently resale only. He isnt my regular guide, thankfully, my current guide is in FL and is a wonderful person that has never said anything about us being resale at all and has gone above and beyond to make us feel welcomedyeah, wow, that is a different experience than I had. We didn't have a guide, hadn't talked to anyone about direct before, so this guy basically adopted us. His approach was this- "I am a Disney Vacation Club Sales Counselor available to help you and your family discover the ins and outs of Membership. Together, we will explore whether Membership is right for your family’s travel lifestyle. Please watch the video below for additional information on how I can assist you." The rest was about Magical Beginnings, incentive discounts, and his bio. Looked like a form email, so I'm surprised your guide went out of their way to try to push your buttons. Maybe they pegged you as someone with FOMO and tried to use that to their advantage and it backfired? What a lousy sales tactic.
