Todd - We were there for our Fall Break/DS's b'day back in October of 02. It was very hot that year too. We left Orlando in tank tops/shorts after spending the early afternoon at AK and when we landed in Wichita for our connecting flight there was snow on the ground. When we got off the plane in OKC it was sleeting and 30 degrees. It was a very cold drive home!

Gemma - It is great to see you. I hope things calm down for you at home.

metro - the san francisco treat ; that sounds like a plan for dinner (spanish rice-yum)! i've already checked out my HM CD, it's good to go for next week's trick-or-treaters...too bad DHs scheduled to work...think i'll have him call off . I was bidding on a "vintage" NWT HM t-shirt from some halloween even a few years ago on eBay, had a pac-man like depiction of the interior on the back...wound up selling for over $30.

i'm off on quest to find replacement for my fav. mug that i broke-think it holds a qt of coffee, 75 miles RT to the disney store.

Janet and Lori - WHOA, BABY!!! That is a whole lotta hurtin' going on with your sons. Fbean had to be taken via an ambulance to the ER after he fell and hit the back of his head on a carpet strip nail (one of those metal thingys that separates carpet from a tiled/linoleum floor). Man there was a good bit of blood and he was all goofy so better safe than sorry....couldn't do much for him if he got sick or lost consciousness in the backseat of the car. Ended up with a staple in his head and a slight concussion. I have been to the ER with Cbean more times than I care to count, but not because of accidents, because of her asthma and once for a nasty staph infection in her hands.

Gemma!! So happy to hear from you. What are you going to be for Halloween?? Sorry to hear about the family issues.....hope things get better really soon!

Penny - I would agree with you if the Rox weren't the hottest team in baseball right now! So, no guesses from me (although I would LOVE to see the Sox win again, they are our AL team!!)

Hey everyone. Just to let you know, I am reading and replying in my head but not typing it (not very useful then eh?). I do miss chatting all the time but things are so busy. Money worries are killing me. I got a call from the company that rent me my house and they said they didn't get last months rent so now I owe £500 (about $1000) to them! Broke down in front of my mum and shes going to see what she can do which helps loads.

All I want to do is win the lottery- is that so much to ask!?

With all the visits we have had we finally got to see a shuttle launch this summer. It was way cool to see!

I hope your temps cool off soon. Ours finally did on Sunday. Now I just hope they don't shoot back up.

Janet - I think it is probably about 75 miles round trip, if not more, to the only Disney Store around here. They did just put a Childrens Place in the mall that is only about 25 miles away so I hope they put in a Disney Store too! They do have some great mugs!

I hate to admit this, but I bought my wedding dress online. Just ordered it a size up and then had it altered. My mom about blew a gasket, but I hate shopping, and I especially hate boutiques!
