Yes I have been quite- Im sorry. Been doing stuff at home- its just me and my cousin here (since my bleeping family are still in sunny florida!!). Really wanna be back there!! Don't want to say to much because I will save it for the TR. One thing I will say is....

See in the Horror make up show?? When the 'express passers' enter in first and then they shut the door 4 5 mins- what do they say to you guys?? Because I thought they would be all 'so, anyones first time!?', so they know who to pick. Was shifty that when we waited a half hour before the show started- the express passers got in first- got all the middle seats and got picked for the show (the volenteer and the naughty kid). I thought it was unfair becuase they have an advantage? Maybe I just totally made all that up but it seemed fishy.

the express goes in first and the tm's tell us to have a seat anywhere we want. if it is packed out in the lobby for the regulars, then the tm's tell us to try to sit together and not leave any open seats.

that's all they say.

i do that show many times when i do my UO vacation.

he has the personality for it, but also right place, right time....

My parents stayed at the Vistana in April but I couldn't tell you if they have wireless internet.

Thanks mac for the make up show info. Maybe it was just coincedence then. I thought they were probably trying to 'subtley' ask whos first time it was seeing the show. We queued for an hour so that oli (5 yr old) could be picked at the kid that threw the rock, we were in the front row beside the curtain and he wasnt picked!! We really thought he would be (might have something to do with the fact that he cried when they 'cut' the lady's arm lol)

I haven't seen the thread and I don't see any reason to go searching for it. People who put down someone else for any reason are trying to make THEMSELVES feel better. They have some deep inner insecurity (like, perhaps, small or failing reproductive equipment) and they have to build themselves up by pointing out everything that they feel makes others less than they are. It doesn't actually make anyone lesser, it just makes them feel that momentary "superior" euphoria. Once the high fades, they've got to go pick on someone else to build it up again. Grown up school bully mentality. I just feel sorry for them because they will never find enough faults in others to make themselves really happy.

In the words of Forrest Gump, "And that's all I have to say about that."

It is another freakin hot day here. I got up early to bake a cheesecake for MILs birthday dinner tomorrow. I was hoping that if I did it early enough that the house wouldn't stay hot all day. I'm not sure it's going to recover, but it's better than it would have been to bake it later this afternoon or evening.

Business stinks. The too-hot-to-move weather is keeping everyone indoors. It has already been a slower than normal summer already, so we are really feeling the pinch now. I told hubby last night that I am really starting to wonder if we are beating a dead horse. The past few years have been a struggle... and I'm getting sick of struggling.

Penny- ignore that tactless, rude, insulting, STUPID (and I'm being nice here) poster! They obviously feel so insecure with themselves that they have to slag off other people. If ANYONE gives you a dirty look for being in a chair or scooter because 'you're not thin'- do me a favour and run over their foot (several times if you can get away with it! lol.

Good morning! I am just popping in before going to the gym.

We had a bit of excitement last night. UPS delivered a package and left it in between our storm door and front door. Well, the way the goofball left the package, the storm door couldn't close. Unfortunately, we had a very windy day here, and with the door not being able to close, it got thrashed about and came off the hinges and cracked the wood. Now, the door really can't close, and we have a heavy flower pot in front of the door to keep it closed for now. Pretty look. I called UPS and put in a report, and it was a night of phone calls with them and to our contractor who just put the storm door on this spring. It was not an inexpensive door, so I do hope UPS steps up as they are supposed to come out on Monday and take a look to see what could've been prevented if their driver had left the package properly. Hmppphh. Exciting story, huh?

Thanks - quick flyby (pun intended!) from the Orlando Airport while we wait for our flight. Best internet connection we've had in a couple weeks! Great - now my kids just spilled a bottle of Pepsi all over the carpet here in the terminal - yep, they never grow up! I'll try to update this thread in the next few days with a few other pics, but don't want to try to get them in photobucket right now! Thanks for all the compliments everyone!

Guys - sorry if I'm not replying to anyone or addressing topics in the thread. The connections have been so bad that it hasn't been worth trying to load all the pages at 5 minutes a shot, so I usually just hit the arrow and reply so I'm not really trying to ignore you.

Gemma - in some cases I thought the opposite having the Express passes - for example in Jimmy Neutron they always load the Express people first, which means you ALWAYS end up in the back row. Found that on at least one of the other rides too (Jaws maybe?), because I remember thinking that you'd never get in the front if you had the express passes. Now maybe this varies with the TM, but when we were there they would consistently load the same way. We missed the Horror show - just couldn't fit it in unfortunately!
