or sell a kidney :rotfl2: :rotfl2:

The thought has crossed my mind

Now all I have to do is wait for Southwest to open up booking for October, (as our Timeshare and HRH are reserved) and I have $80 credit to use for the October trip, I love flying SW :thumbsup2

Not going to Orlando Mac ... just down the turnpike in NJ to Six Flags ... But it is our park and we are happy with that ..:thumbsup2 .. Now we just need it to OPEN :lmao:

We might be making a trip over there this summer, I LOVE Kingda Ka, and El Toro!!!! It's about a 2 hour drive for us.

The soup was pretty good. No cabbage though. It wasn't filling to me though, but I've gotten in the habit of eating a lot. Here's the recipe:

Ingredients
*2 Tbs. extra virgin olive oil
*2 large white onions, very thinly sliced
*1 1/2 lbs. boneless skinless chicken breast or turkey breast (or tofu for the herbavours out there)
*1 large carrot, finely shredded
*2 large garlic cloves, minced
*1 jalapeno pepper with seeds, minced
*2 tsp minced fresh thyme or oregano (or 1 tsp. dried thyme or oregano)
*8 cups fat free natural chicken broth
*1 15 oz. can of black beans, drained
*6 packed cups fresh baby spinach leaves
*1 large tomato, finely diced
*salt and pepper to taste
*7 Tbs. grated Parmesan cheese, or to taste
*Lemon wedges (optional)

Heat oil in a large stockpot over medium heat. Add onions, stirring occasionally for 10 minutes. Add chicken, stirring occasionally, for 5 minutes more, or until chicken is cooked through and onions are lightly browned. Add carrot, garlic, jalapeno, and thyme; cook another 2 minutes. Stir in broth and increase to high heat. Bring to a boil. Add beans, spinach and tomato. Bring back to boil, then turn off heat. Add salt and pepper to taste. Sprinkle each serving with 1 Tbs. Parmesan cheese. If desired, enjoy with a squirt of lemon.

Makes 7 servings.

ok, then just bring soup back for us.

your good morning to my good afternoon.
i slept in today.....:hippie:

wow, that looked like fun!
how neat it was you could all take it in and have your little guy love it.

to keep it cheap, buy the generic plates but lots of paper towel beside the tp.
you know how people are always spilling beer and grinding in the cheese nachos in the rugs.....
yea, we're moving the rugs from upstairs to the basement. i mean, how can you throw a party and not have a proper floor covering....?

i'll hold the cat. problem solved.
with all of us trampling in the house, we'll make a wide path in the snow to the door. we're such good homies, we don't mind helping in that way.

one question: does the toilet in the basement work?
or do we use the litter box?

ummmm....no plumbing in basement yet and the litter box is upstairs in the laundry room.....you are quite the party planner mac.....I wonder if you homies will be able to get cheap airfare AND car rental and drive out to the boonies here!! :scared1: :scared1:

my trip is getting closer and now I feel kinda icky like flu icky!!! I hope it either comes and goes OR doesn't come at all ;)

have a good evening everyone!!

that soup does look like it would be good.....I'll have to give my mom the recipe :rolleyes1

Hi all. Been lurking here for awhile. Thought I'd say Hi. I love Universal and am going there in September. Glad to see I'm not the only one that treads on "the dark side." LOL:rotfl:

Woo Hoo homies, we got another live one.......:worship:

:welcome:

Welcome to the newest homie:

Niki Andiokno

Niki has come to the dark side.
wait until she finds out there are more of us.

:welcome: :welcome: :welcome:
be sure to stick around and visit with us.
once you come visit, you're the official newest homie here...

and that's a good thing.

Hey, i just noticed Niki is a chicagoan also.
well, kind of.
i know where addison is and let's just say we all are chicagoans that live this far north.......:rolleyes1

Hi guys! Quick flyby to say that Royce & Eric headed out a bit ago to the After Hours clinic. :sad2: Yes, you didn't know that Pep Band could be so dangerous. Evidently Eric & Stephen & their friends decided it would be more fun to run around the lobby of the school than to actually watch the basketball game after they were done playing, and somehow Eric got tripped and gouged his chin pretty bad. Not sure if it will need stitches or even if they could do them, but he took a good chunk out of it. Not pretty. Hopefully they can tape him up! Throw him some pixie dust if you have a chance and I'll let you know what happens!

Oops - that didn't take long! I was waiting for my husband to let me know what was going on so thought I'd let you guys know what happened, but now just heard from him. Eric ended up getting 5 stitches and they're on their way home. :guilty: Poor kid! Now he can just tell everyone he cut himself shaving! ;)

i'm reading between the lines and sense that you are trying to discourage the party that we are looking forward to.......

we'll take the bus to the border and then hitch hike the way to your place.
or maybe rent some bikes.

don't worry about the basement.
since it isn't completely finished yet, you won't even notice we were there...:rolleyes1

it is going to be so much fun.
i'm really sorry you have other plans and can't attend it with us....

the docs have a way of making things all better.
if he has stitches, they can do it where there will be little or no scarring.

i'm sure he will be sore and swollen tomorrow but let's hope it won't pain him.

Just stopping in quickly before heading off to bed ...

OUCH! Hope he heals well. Try Strivectin on it after it closes. I've put it on my son's face recently where he got bit by his lovely dog last year and it took out some more red. Looks like a tiny pink spot now.:yay:

When it 1st happened, I used some of the expensive wound care brands, but save your money--it was used faithfully and didn't heal any better than normal.
