i did the major cleaning and organizing of my dump here.
what i couldn't figure out i stuck in a box and shoved under the beds.......

maybe i'll get motivated in a month to finish the stuff that i stuffed under the bed....

The schools here are all open. The school districts have to make up some snow days and today is the first of them.

We have lots of birdies still. I think they didn't get the memo to go South this year......

I throw out food for them. The stupid possum that lives under our deck steals the food.

We have cardinals, a couple of them and the non colorful birdies in our yard all the time in the morning.

Keisha, I wouldn't even think of doing the hot tub with all that snow that marci showed us.

It is Family Day here in Ontario!! My DH and both DS's are working away in the basement!!!

I am packing for OUR trip!!!! Must do some then I can finish packing!!

don't worry, Bonny is in charge of bringing the trash bags. Todd is bringing the sunshine, St. L and Donald are bringing the kegs, Keisha is bringing wine, marcie is bringing the hot dogs, Brab is bringing Max and will be potty training him in the SE corner of the basement, Tracie will be in charge of paper items which includes the toilet paper for your surprise housewarming gift, mary the coastermom is getting the flicks for us to watch, i did tell her no G ratings though as it is a party, Akdar will be spinning the tunes, and the list goes on.....

That sounds like a great idea BUT...I guess you folks would need to stay upstairs since the basement has no drywall, no bathroom, no tv, no NOTHING!!!

mac my dog bought me home a possum once...thought he was dead - nope, just playing possum!...they r fierce, territorial critters

we just have a 1/2 doz of squirrels & a flock of black crows circling the house along with a huge hawk who im surprised hasn't made off w/more of the squirrels

discovered 2 of my bushes have been eaten to the quick ...must be deer?

... makes things easier to clean up if there happens to be a spill or two ... plus we can always get our big strong men to move the TV downstairs and trek upstairs to the bathroom - no problem

We have been cleaning out the house today . Dam kids keep coming back though LOL

Really we have had to have thrown out atleast 15 huge black bags of trash here today . It feels good to have started the clean out.

Hope everyone is good . School closed all week here for two out of my 3 kids.The other one goes in Wed, Thurs and Friday . OH Joy .

Gotta go clean some more and then off to make Dinner ... YUMMY

HI Homies-

My kids were off of school today b/c of President's Day. Any snow days to make up this school yr is tacked on at the end of the school yr. DH is at work today as usual.
Yesterday we celebrated FIL's 80th birthday- had b-day party at SIL's house.
Might be his last birthday to celebrate, I don't know. Just found out his heart is only 40% functioning, not going to get any angioplasty or heart surgery done, he's too much of a risk. His kidney is 25% functioning, has only one kidney. He also has emphysema, but didn't seem to need any O2(oxygen) yesterday. He did look pretty tired. FIL did pretty well considering all that's wrong with him. It was good all of us immediate family members got together for the b-day party, since I was the one to suggest the b-day party idea to SIL.
Found out yest the much hated dog that my other SIL had, had died a yr ago!
My other SIL and BIL had a toy collie for many yrs(it was mostly SIL's dog b4 she married BIL). It was the nastiest dog! It would try to nip at you, almost biting Matthew and DH a few yrs ago. The dog was very anxious/ hyper all the time. Chrissy was always afraid of that dog. Dog reminded me of Kujo seriously. We just found out yest the dog died a yr ago and SIL now has another dog, hopefully a much nicer dog. Chrissy clapped her hands when she heard the news that Mindy died(the bad dog)
SIL never cared about guests in the house and let Mindy roam around
bothering the guests. SIL and I had many heated discussions thru the yrs about that dog


Brab- Max is adorable!-black labs are cute

Circelli- I'll collect the $$ for pizzas for the basement party!

Marcie- snow pics! Looked like the snow of 1979 in the Chicago area.

We like too slip in there on a day I get payed..Since I work in the area sometimes i can justify it!!
Gave alot to the company,this is my way of getting the most out of them!!

The hard part is when I;m waiting in a que line and get a buisness call and they ask where are you at with all the background noise.I just tell them they are playing the music loud on the jobsite!!!
