Something About Nothing............ #14

Happy Saturday. Not much going on here today. Dh is out with one of his friends and B just woke up a few minutes ago.

I am so grateful that I booked our flights on Thursday. I checked this morning and the price has increased by $90 per ticket.

I always wondered why overalls style outfits used to be popular for maternity wear. Who wants to undress to use the bathroom when pregnant ?

I’ll trade weather with you. We have mid 90s this weekend.

I might could make it across the Charlotte airport in 45 minutes but I would be exhausted.

I would prefer less that 2 hours wait, but this is still better than having to run across the airport. Charlotte is large, but not nearly as big as Atlanta or Philadelphia. I figure we can take our tome getting from one gate to the next and probably also have time to stop for a snack.

I am looking forward to Epic Universe but probably won’t go until the newness wears off some. I imagine it’s going to be crazy crowded for a while. I’m not a Mario fan but would like to try the ride. We saw the Mario area at Universal Hollywood and it looked really good.
Dh is hoping to see the classic monsters.

Time for lunch.

Yes, I think they’ll do everything with aplomb, even though they may not appeal particularly to us, the monsters appeals most to us along with Potter.

Happy lazy Saturday!!!

I'm still in my pj's and housecoat cruising around on the computer.

I did a little youtube video watching - trying to find good videos for the boys to watch to see which rides/activities they want to focus on.

Watched our Oilers win game 6!!!!!! ONE MORE GAME!!!!! For the boys to bring the cup home!!!! Even if they don't win the last game - they have played their hearts out the whole series - and I/We couldn't be more proud of them!!!!!

I also logged into ticketmaster at the right time - to see when the tickets for the watch party for Oiler would be going on sale - and found myself in the cue for pre-sale. I was too late - and didn't get any pre-sale. But at 1200 the general public goes on sale...so I will try for some of those tickets. DD wants to go. So I'm going to try to get some tickets for her.

:beach: ahhhhhhhhhhh I can just picture it! Enjoy!

I am going to have to do some googling to see what happened.

Our news centers don't report much since our lovely government made changes to how new in reported in our country - stepping off my soap box right now. And off to hit google after this.

You, Keisha, and Robo are the first peeps I thought of when I seen a video on that!!!!!! It looks like it would be amazing.

Happy Saturday to you too! I just checked on prices since we bought ours too - and yes - they have increased over 100/ticket as well.

Well...I should get going. Have to get ready to go get a pedicure - and see if I can snag some tickets for the watch party.

Have a great day everyone!!!!

Glad your team won, nice to hear.

As someone who has visited HHN since 2007 and always wished the monsters would make more of an appearance, we are over the moon with this announcement, as long term HHN fans this is huge. We always made our feelings known when speaking to the higher up folks and glad to see this whole area is being enhanced.

We are about a one hour drive (through absolutely Nothing) to the border. Looking on the US map, we are even farther north than Maine!!!

You are very far up!!

Ugh my post went poof! Lazy morning here too! Of course bacon & eggs, coffee! Husband and I are watching Royal Ascot and trying to pick horses. My last pic came in 2nd, Cambridge!
Have to get moving soon. Having a couple over tonight for BBQ burgers, corn 🌽 on the cob, salad, not sure what else, fries? Key Lime pie for dessert. Need to go out and get buns.

I’ve been out the past 3 days for either dinner or lunch with different girlfriend groups! I’m socialized out! But it’s always fun catching up with friends, however this time it seems to have been all at once.

Have show tickets for Guys & Dolls at end of the month with my daughters. A birthday present from them!

@schumigirl @macraven I don’t like Mario either, but it’s only one section? Looking forward to the Harry Potter area, Dark Arts? But will give it awhile till dust settles. .

@Pumpkin1172 ticket prices for big events have gotten crazy. A friend was just in Vegas with her family. Her husband and son went to that dome thing? Tickets were $99USD each. They bought thru Ticketmaster. Got home and $700USD was billed to the Visa! They’re in the process of disputing. I can’t imaging paying the price to go to the game! Someone said $1000 for nosebleed section where you can’t see anything. Yikes.

@schumigirl Stonehenge made the Canadian news, awful.

@keishashadow the pool sounds lovely! I’m with you, I’d never wear a romper! Crazy trying to go to the bathroom with one on!

@disneyseniors thanks for the welcome back. Sometimes life gets in the way!

Yes, I have words for those who desecrated Stonehenge, but they might not pass the censor! Idiots.

Yes, Mario is only one section, doubt we’ll spend much time in that section, but they will do it well.

Good Saturday afternoon everyone :wave2:

It’s pouring down rain. This is the view outside by window at the Resort. Sun is starting to peek out again. It was smoking hot out before it rained. Hopefully the rain will cool things down or will make the humidity a lot worse.

Thank you Carole. Had a nail biter taking off in the plane, But it was good after we reached the required altitude.

Beautiful scenery.

That you Ruth. So good to hear your mom is doing better.

That had to hurt falling on terra cotta floor. Hope you’re ok.

That is pretty scary. You never know what those bears are up too.

Thank you.

Good for your cousin that she is taking an early retirement. Life is to short enjoy it to the fullest while you can.

Thank you Carole. I’am having a nice time.

Wow…..that is a lot of issues to make it back home.

Those pancakes look bigger than your granddaughter.

I didn’t know you all had poisonous snakes in Britain.

I Don’t care for Mario either, but looking at the Architectural model of Epic Universe at the preview store I’am most excited about the Dark Universe. I have waited a long time for Universal to bring their Monsters alive in a theme park. If it is anything in real life like it is in the the model it will be fantastic.

Also Ministry of Magic looks good too.

Fire ants bites are terribly painful.

Carole love the memes.

Made it up to Orlando about mid morning Yesterday and got checked into SF. Then over to the parks to have a look around and lunch. It was smoking hot in the late afternoon. I was glad to get back to the resort and shower.

Out for a little retail therapy this morning then back to room. Debating if I will head to parks for shows this evening. Will see.

Have a wonderful evening everyone.

Rain has stopped and sun is already back out.

Agree, they’ll do the whole park well regardless of which area will be our favourite areas. Yes, Ministry of Magic looks amazing!

I’m glad my cousin is retiring early, working with the type of criminals she deals with takes its toll. She’s seen far too much from the dregs of society.

And yes, we have one poisonous snake in the UK, never seen one thankfully!!!

Glad you’re having a nice visit, the rain will disappear.

Had a lovely evening with Kyle, food was good and just a nice night all round.

He came back here for dessert where I had baked flourless chocolate cake and made chocolate ice cream, nice all round, I had some clotted cream ice cream.

Watching some Scottish comedy right now and a large glass of Malbec!!!

Then bed soon………

Yes, I have words for those who desecrated Stonehenge, but they might not pass the censor! Idiots.
And then they decided to tag Taylor Swift’s private jet…too bad they picked out the wrong jet.

She’s one of those who buys the carbon offset credits for flying private. One of those people who just couldn’t fly on a standard flight as to security measures, would be too disruptive. L DiCaprio another one who seems to make a lot of effort in that regard too.

Was surprised today to read that the Dubai airport is the size of NYC…I’m talking all 5 boroughs! Thinking there are many private planes on that one, of course oil is king there.

rain, rain, go away…robbie wants to play! Enjoy :)

I didn`t know that about TS, good to know, and yes JSO are complete idiots, I`m not surprised they don`t know which people try to do something, they just want publicity. Ask them if they fly or use any oil based products and you don`t get an answer, that`s not important apparently.

Yes, that airport is huge, mahoosive!!! And it`s getting even bigger. Oh goodness yes, oil is indeed king there.

Another late sleep this morning, Tom brought me tea in bed which was nice, finally got up, showered and we made breakfast deciding the weather looks grey, just grey.

However it is warm and it is going to brighten up. Kyle parked his car her as he is doing a 10K run near us, he`s got some friends coming over to his place for the afternoon that haven`t seen his apartment yet, then he`s coming back here for dinner, doing him as requested, teriyaki chicken stir fry with noodles and will make some chocolate ice cream for him today.

Lazy day for us after another late night!! Think some movie watching before the Grand Prix this afternoon, we`ll watch it again later with Kyle too.

But, think more tea is in order today and the sun is shining again, going to be another nice day!

Glad the rain stopped for Robbie and hope Pumpkin got the tickets she wanted!!!!

Have a wonderful Sunday :sunny:
OMGosh! I loved the meme with the psychics, LOL. Time to leave that flight for sure.

Today is sunny and warm, BUT I have another bear story for you

Roger was leaving his shop (which is about 100 feet from our front door) and spied a very Large bear at our bird feeder. He pounded on the door of the shop and the bear went away.
However, I had just hung out the 2nd batch of clothes on the line!!! (I think I need to just use the dryer from now on, lol) . So we are back at not having our bird feeders in use at all for the time being. We will have to monitor the yard before we go outside, and I will definitely need a "guard" to go to the clothesline this afternoon to get the dry clothes! Mom is also coming for dinner and wanted to sit outside in our new swing. That Is Not Going to Happen!

Roger did shoot the shotgun in the woods to scare the bear away if he was close. I hope that works.
We are getting tired of all the bears this year, but there is nothing we can do about it, other than move and that's not going to happen.

This time, I was really freaked out, Carole. Now we have to be watchful for a while til we are sure it is not coming back on a routine basis.

Other than that, not too much going on this weekend.

Ruth, your garden, gorgeous as it is, gives me the fear!!!!

Yup, time to get your dryer running and avoid that outdoor laundry dash. And goodness yes, keep your mum away from the swing today, hope you have a lovely day though with your mum, glad she’s doing much better now.

Did I ever tell you the story of us setting off on a journey and half way there we turned back? I might have related it to you, if not I will. It’ll make the spidey senses twitch!

It’s been a very lazy but lovely day, saw a lot of Kyle which was super. He enjoyed the 10k race, his friends loved his new place and then he was back with us for dinner and watched the Grand Prix again.

Tonight has been ultra lazy and bed soon, too many late nights in one week!

Looks to be gorgeous next few days, plan to get up early and walk tomorrow then shopping…no volunteering for me and Tom is only doing 2 sessions this week, for now :)

Yup, too many yawns, time for bed!

Mom is also coming for dinner and wanted to sit outside in our new swing. That Is Not Going to Happen!
IDK your Mom vs a 🐻, hmmm…

she sounds like a force of nature, my money is on your Mom :)

Carole - Tom is raising the husband bar!

Storms & sunshine alternated here all day = rainbows galore, mostly faint though. Tornados south of us mid afternoon, enough to not cause any immediate concerns here. The air did feel “funny/heavy” most of the day. I’m at the point this appears to be our new norm.

Was up @ 5 am today, probably why feels a lot later than 8 pm now. Think I’ll retreat up to the BR soon and watch something until the hubby is ready to watch the game of thrones.

Dr who mini season finished up last night. At least a few bright spots this season, not hard to outshine most of the last few (excluding those with David Tennant). If only not focused on being oh-so PC that the story line has often suffered. Would be nice to see them improve even more on the next batch. Curious as to who they will present as the next companion

Quick Sunday night stop in!

We had beautiful weather for pictures today. The sun was shinning and not much wind. We / I are hoping she got some good ones. We drove out to a small provincial park that has picturesque hills. They should make a great backdrop for the pictures. The kids left right after pictures.

We went out for lunch - then home. I had a nice little nap, hit Costco, then decided it was fend for yourself night tonight.

Watched a little CFL and now the remote is mine as everyone has retired to their corners.

FL also has black bears. But they are pretty chill.
Panthers. Coyotes, gators, crocs , anaconda and pythons, all the poisonous snakes. Every biting and stinging insect.
Which is exactly why we would never dream of heading into remote areas. I have a healthy respect for wildlife - especially snakes and gators.

I hope the rain didn't last too long, and you're able to get out and enjoy the parks.

It's great he lives so close and able to stop in whenever He fancies!!!! I do miss that about dd and her little family. We always need to plan to see them.

Well, I should get going - one more load of laundry to fold.

Have a great evening everyone

Time to take the bird feeder down! Huge bear attractant. We take ours down in summer as there’s plenty for them to eat. Then put it back late fall.

He is most definitely a keeper!!!

Glad to hear Dr Who is improving, yes got far too PC for Tom a couple of years back, typical BBC though. David Tennant is an absolute star and even though I had long given up on Dr Who I did quite enjoy a few of his episodes.

You have been getting it incredibly hot, tornadoes are another thing we aren`t troubled with here, occasionally and it is occasionally we`ll see the start of the cloud formation of one, but never usually develops beyond that, thankfully.

Is this a second round of GoT for you?

Glad you got the pictures taken today and lovely to hear the weather was so lovely! Yes, hope they got pics that you love.

It is nice he`s so close. It`s funny things like only setting the table for two so it`s lovely when he comes for dinner and I can lay out that extra place 🥰

Yes, of course you miss your daughter being so close, it`s not easy just not being able to drop in whenever you want. I`ve lived away from my mum and family for almost 30 years in one place or another and still miss being so close to them :goodvibes
.

It did feel a little cooler last night, slept all the way through without waking due to heat. This morning is beautiful as forecast, I`m up and ready to have that very early breakfast and then get out walking before it gets too hot, but sleeping beauty is still out for the count. I`m going to nudge him soon though.

Definitely need sunscreen even at this early hour.

No cooking tonight, have some chicken marinading in all sorts of flavours, Tom will grill them for us and I`ll do the sides, all cold. Lunch is just salad too.

Going to be a nice sunny day ahead, once we`ve walked, showered and shopped, it`ll be the garden for the rest of the day I think.

Tea and toast for me soon, will need a mid morning snack for sure, we have so much fruit in the house right now, got one of those fruit boxes delivered again to try, there were a lot of fruits we like including two very large mangoes and a huge pineapple, will enjoy them later.

Monday again.....have a good one!!!

Well it’s been an interesting weekend. Yesterday I was running around getting ready for dinner guests, etc. then at 3:30 they canceled. Understandable as husband had a kidney stone attack. Luckily it was a bbq dinner. Burgers, corn on Cobb, salad & potatoes. So was easy to wrap and freeze the extra burgers, didn’t cook the potatoes, and nothing I can do with the salad. I’ll have some for lunch tomorrow! Luckily it will keep awhile without dressing on it. I have a homemade roast garlic, and olive oil to drizzle on it with fresh squeezed lemon.

Not a great day today. After church went to the hospital to take a shift to be with a parishioner who is in end stages of cancer. She’s about my age. No family. Very sad.

Never nice to hear something like that, hope she`s as comfortable as possible.

We have heat again!!! Well, mid to high 70`s but feels much warmer and we`re glad of that little breeze that comes around now and again. Will be in the garden this afternoon for sure, lazing around is always lovely.

Enjoyed a beautiful walk along the front and met up with some of the other early walkers we used to meet every day, it has been a while!! And much nicer being able to wear shorts and tees again.

I never tire of this gorgeous view.

i-X9KnPWW-X2.jpg

Lunch coming right up, salad and coleslaw all made up, got some parma ham and shrimp, will add some chunks of pineapple too, nice and fresh.

Both of us volunteering tomorrow, me in school and I think Tom said he would do the morning too so we had the afternoon free together, hopefully nice enough to sit out again.

Little bit early, but lunch is served 😁

Quick post before starting work.

Watched our Oilers win game 6!!!!!! ONE MORE GAME!!!!! For the boys to bring the cup home!!!!
Good luck to your team. I think the final game is tonight?

I’am most excited about the Dark Universe. I have waited a long time for Universal to bring their Monsters alive in a theme park. If it is anything in real life like it is in the the model it will be fantastic.
The one thing I loved about Universal Hollywood was that the classic monsters roamed the park. We saw Dracula, Frankenstein’s monster, and the bride of Frankenstein. I hope they will have them at Epic Universe.

My brain originally read that as Macbeth.

Roger was leaving his shop (which is about 100 feet from our front door) and spied a very Large bear at our bird feeder. He pounded on the door of the shop and the bear went away.
Yikes! I love bears but having one that close would terrify me.

Curious as to who they will present as the next companion
I haven’t watched since space babies. Is Ruby leaving already?

That is heartbreaking. Glad she has her church family to be with her at this time.

Gotta get to work.

@Lynne G - where are you?

Ruth, your garden, gorgeous as it is, gives me the fear!!!!
I know what you mean! But 98% of the time we are bear free and able to enjoy the yard. Hopefully removing the feeders and the shotgun blast will do the trick, again:) Have no fear, I am a big chicken so I am very careful.
Did I ever tell you the story of us setting off on a journey and half way there we turned back?
No Carole, I don't think you told that story. Send an email when you can. Can't wait to hear it:)
saw a lot of Kyle which was super.
Isn't it funny that when the "kids" leave the house, they tend to come back to visit a lot? That seems to be the way with kids and grandkids, which I Love!
IDK your Mom vs a 🐻, hmmm…
:rotfl2:
she sounds like a force of nature, my money is on your Mom :)
Thanks, Janet. She really was disappointed to not be able to enjoy the sunshine and warmth though. I promised her a dairy queen blizzard this week to make up for it:)
We drove out to a small provincial park that has picturesque hills.
That site sounds like a beautiful spot for pictures. I hope they all turn out great:) Last year, we had a bear tear up our garbage can bin. It's built with wood and locked. He climbed the fence and tore down the door!!!! So, Roger put screws on the top of the posts (with the sharp points up) and we've had no problem with a break in since:)
Time to take the bird feeder down!
Yep, they are down. I think we will try the feeder again in the fall. Just too many bears to make it work this year.
David Tennant is an absolute star
I LOVE David Tennant. I have never seen him in Dr. Who, but saw him in a detective series, and I am blanking out on the name of it now! It took place at a seaside town and with the death of a young boy off the cliff. Darn, but I can't think of the name! Getting older isn't easy:)
No cooking tonight
No cooking night is my favorite thing. We are having potato salad and fried chicken tonight. That's after we go to the presale for friends of the library. They are selling books very cheaply and we get to buy them before the public because of supporting the library. I am trying to find a new author that I like and can't wait to get to the sale:)
Not a great day today.
So sorry to hear that, but it's wonderful that your church has such a support group. I used to work Hospice/home care and easing the passing of a loved one was a wonderful thing that we were able to do for them and the family.
The one thing I loved about Universal Hollywood was that the classic monsters roamed the park. We saw Dracula, Frankenstein’s monster, and the bride of Frankenstein. I hope they will have them at Epic Universe.
Charade, you are so lucky to have seen the classic monsters. I am most anxious to visit Universal and Epic Universe to see the Classic Monsters area. It looks and sounds incredible. I also am a big Harry Potter fan and am very interested to see the new Ministry of Magic too. Mario I'm not to interested in, and the other park either, but I will check them out too.
80% chance of rain and blistering Saturday for our daytrip to SW.
AJ I hope the rain lets up and you can enjoy your trip today!

Today is a muggy and rainy day so far. We are supposed to get severe thunderstorms later today and tonight. It seems we are in this cycle of one sunny warm day and 2 or more rainy ones, sigh........... Oh well, at least it is warming up to the 70 and 80's.

I bought our park tickets today to Universal for this November's visit. I waited for a good buy and one finally showed up. I got 3 park to park days with 2 days for free, Yes! We will be there 5 days so that worked out great for us. I haven't booked the flights yet, but I have been checking them out. There seems to be a lot of availability for that time of year and the prices aren't bad either. I have a flight credit with Delta so I can use that.

No sign of the bear today so am optimistic about this. Hopefully there will be no more bear reports from our place!

lol.....love Macbeth, or The Scottish Play as it`s also known as.

"How no, you, secret, black and midnight hags" one of my favourite lines from that play, one of us would say it as we joined for an evening out together.....was funny at the time!

Hope you have a good day!

Yep, they are down. I think we will try the feeder again in the fall. Just too many bears to make it work this year.

I LOVE David Tennant. I have never seen him in Dr. Who, but saw him in a detective series, and I am blanking out on the name of it now! It took place at a seaside town and with the death of a young boy off the cliff. Darn, but I can't think of the name! Getting older isn't easy:)

No cooking night is my favorite thing. We are having potato salad and fried chicken tonight. That's after we go to the presale for friends of the library. They are selling books very cheaply and we get to buy them before the public because of supporting the library. I am trying to find a new author that I like and can't wait to get to the sale:)

So sorry to hear that, but it's wonderful that your church has such a support group. I used to work Hospice/home care and easing the passing of a loved one was a wonderful thing that we were able to do for them and the family.

I`ll send it as soon as, it`s another one of those epic ones lol....

Broadchurch was the story with David Tennant, I can`t watch things like that with missing/murdered children, but it was very well received for sure.

I do love cooking, but yes, it`s nice to have the odd evening off and have something simple. I do plan that sometime but end up thinking of how I can enhance it....lol......

I love the sound of the library visit, and good luck finding a new author. Have you ever read MC Beaton`s books? Not for everyone, she wrote the Agatha Raisin stories, all set in the beautiful Cotswolds, very gentle stories but good. She also wrote the Scottish tv series Hamish Macbeth which we love. Robert Carlyle is in that as the title character, very humorous and very Scottish, some don`t really get the humour!!!

I knew we`d still see a fair bit of Kyle, if you`re close, you`re not going to lose that and 20 minutes away is nothing. He does enjoy getting spoiled and always leaves with a load of goodies.....I know he`s in training again for the next marathon, but still, boy loves his chocolate!!!

Enjoy today and let me know what books you find and yes, hopefully the bear has gone 😁

We did spend most of the day in the garden, apart from the hour it clouded over, but gorgeous still even now and tomorrow looks lovely too. We`ll have the afternoon to enjoy sitting out and definitely grilling again.

I did make my spicy cous cous a little too spicy again, I had Scotch Bonnet chillies, yup, should have used half of one, but used a while one!! Hot!! But, we still ate it.....

Cup of tea and then some clotted cream ice cream, made a mango and guava coulis.....hope it`s not too sweet, we like it a little tart.

Quick mid-day stop in!

And yup...it's Monday :surfweb: Sure could have used an extra day off. Oh well, next weekend is our holiday weekend. I also have taken Friday off - so it's a short week plus an extra long weekend to boot ;)

I have company again today - but it's my last day having her here until late July. So all the tasks will be all mine again. It looks like things have slowed down a bit - so I will take that! We are hoping that some time in the fall, she will be hired full-time as we will have a new RO starting.

Game #7 tonight :cheer2: It's do or die tonight!!!! They have been on a roll and found their mojo...I have a good gut feeling about tonight. 6ish more hours until the puck drops.

Well it’s been an interesting weekend
It sounds like it was an interesting weekend for you. I'm sure the lady appreciated you stopping by to visit. And yes - it is sad and not easy to visit when you know details like that.

Enjoy that heat!!!!! Your scenery is breathtaking. My feet tingled looking at that picture.
Good luck to your team. I think the final game is tonight?
We are hoping for a win- but if they don't pull it out and win tonight - They have played an AMAZING series - and played the last 3 games like they had nothing to loose. It has been a great series - to watch!
80% chance of rain and blistering Saturday for our daytrip to SW. Try to get what rides can in and enjoy the Viva LA Musica festival.
Penguin ride opens July 7 rumored.
I hope that the heavy rain stays away.
I bought our park tickets today to Universal for this November's visit. I waited for a good buy and one finally showed up. I got 3 park to park days with 2 days for free, Yes!
Yup....those are the same tickets I'm looking at buying. That way if we have a slower day doing other things- we can come back in the evening and ride what we would like in Islands!!! Even if it is only Velocicoaster or Jurassic River ride! WE loved doing that one at night. I want at least 2 days at the park - plus one night for HNN. So for almost the same price - we can have extra days there...I'll take that any day.

Well, I should go shuffle a few papers around.

Have a great day everyone!!!!

When in November will you be there? We are there from the 12th-16th.

Broadchurch was the story with David Tennant, I can`t watch things like that with missing/murdered children, but it was very well received for sure.
That was a difficult series to watch. I mentioned that at work once and my boss asked if it was because of the accents. (Eyeroll) No! It was because of the subject matter. She had seen the series too, so it’s not like she was unfamiliar with it.

Almost time to go home.

Thank you all for your good wishes, our friend passed quietly i n the early morning hours. She was more than ready. It’s a quite small (Anglican) church so it’s easy to organize such things. It’s nice she wasn’t alone. Tragic she had no family, never had children.

@schumigirl thats a stunning beach pic. Is Tennant back on Dr Who? I only watched the first new ep and wasn’t impressed.

@disneyseniors yum I love fried chicken! You got a great deal on tickets! We get a good deal on international 2 week ticket which my daughter gets when she comeswith me. We usually go for 2 weeks. Being on west coast it’s a long flight. I have an AP.
Glad to hear your bird feeder is down. So is mine. It’s amazing how those bears know when it’s trash day lol. Fortunately none today! We’re having road construction (new water lines) so maybe that’s keeping them away now.

@Charade67 i save the river ride for heat of the day to cool off, but bet it’s really cool to go on at night. I’ll have to try it!

@Pumpkin1172 . a lot of funny memes on FB tonight about Cana da being closed due to game!

@drenalin'junkie hope you get your day trip in! Weather changes all the time.

@Robo56 that’s a great pic from your room. I love house 3. Best views. Hope weather clears up. There’s nothing like a Florida rain storm, and lightenning! We just don’t get those here.

Yes Charade, where is Lynne? I should talk :tilt:

Went to surgeon this morning to have stitches out, on arm. Ugh. Says they’re not ready, another week.

Friday going to dinner in town and a show (Guys & Dolls) with my daughters. A birthday present from them!

Weather is starting to cool and cloud up. Good thing gardener came today! Rain mid week then will clear again.
