Kohl's is a ridiculously overpriced store with mediocre products

I'll disagree. Their regular prices are no higher than the regular prices offered by other stores that carry the same merchandise.

The difference is that they often run sales or choose to provide coupons to their loyal customers, hoping that once they are in the store they will purchase other items. No different from other retail outlets, with the exception of maybe WalMart (which IMO is the leader in offering inferior merchandise) including grocery stores.

I can't quote but I do have the ability to schedule a payment on my Kohls account. Interestingly enough the only bill that I cannot schedule in advance is my payment on my car through Honda Financial Services.

Never had a problem with making Kohls payments online either, I've probably made 100 of them.

I also wait for a percentage off/Kohls cash sale. It allows my family to get decent quality items at lower than discount store prices.

Kohls has seen a ton more money from us since JCP changed for the worse.

That being said, I am waiting until the Black Friday ads come out before buying much more. The $15 off a future purchase with $50 spent on top of the 15% off everything coupon last year really helped clear our shopping list well below budget.

You can use Kohl's gift cards to pay your balance. I purchase my gift cards thru our church scrip program.

This was going to be my suggestion too!

The other thing - if you charge $600 per year - you will get upgraded to the gold card, and they you get a few extra days of savings opportunities.

Personally- I hate kohl's cash. If I have it to use - I will buy something like greeting cards or wrapping paper.

I like to shop when they have the power hours on Friday night and Saturday morning. I mainly shop online even though there is a store 5 minutes from us. They seem to run out of everything quickly. I now try NOT to shop when they are having Kohls cash because of the returns. I would rather get the lowest price during the power hours than have to deal with the Kohls cash.
