Some Sad things I noticed this morning in the Kingdom....

Rude and mean players! They were everywhere.

When I was over at Jungle Cruise there was a player there that was being mean to other players....then I hop over to the Music Game and this girl player there is being really mean to a new player who was only asking for help telling her to shut up and she is going to boot her etc.

Well I had had enough so I asked her to stop...She fires back she is going to report me! ME! so I said go ahead you do know they monitor these boards and everything you say they can see...so then she walks right up to me like she is going to beat me up or something!

Then later at the emporium same thing people being mean to other players I was only online for alittle while this morning but I could not beleive what I was seeing.

They really need to get a handle on this before it gets way out of hand.

I was in the Music Room earning my "play mix" credits and a guest said I had "no fashion sense". Considering that her outfit clashed color-wise, I just thought it was funny. At least in my new costume, no one is asking me to come to their modeling rooms anymore.

My fave is how people will come out of nowhere (usually a guest!) and say "Shut up!".

Some guy told me to "Shut up!" yesterday. I replied that there was no need to be mean to me since I was nice to him. He actually said he was sorry!

Can anyone help me get my DD signed up for VMK? I linked to it through a sign on an "addict" page (who knows which one!). I have tried registering and keep getting name invalid or taken. Apparently one time I got thru and now every time I try to log on, I get VMK crashed-try again. No luck.

I've emailed the help/contact us site. No help yet.

at yesterday festivities, some boy was walking around saying "shell, shell, shell" and "what the shell" etc. good grief.
I reported a meanie that was standing on the beam of the temple and wouldn't move at all. no one could get around and she would spout off rude stuff and dance. VMK_red came right away and asked her to leave.
guess they feel like that can get away with it in virtual world.

Anyway, clicked the report button, 'coz it felt like the right thing to do, and got an error message back...Report button is now grayed out, so don't know if any VMK admins will see the mail...

Just now I met up with Guest226993 who offered to give me a Teleportation Magic pin in return for my Stitch teleporters. I put my teleporters up for trade, he put up his pin ... then suddenly he yanked down his pin and clicked "Accept", hoping I wouldn't be quick enough and would click my "Accept" before I noticed the switch. So he put the pin back up, then yanked it down again and immediately clicked Accept, then he put a completely different pin up hoping that I wouldn't notice, etc. etc.

When I cancelled the trade, he started calling people in the room "As Face" and "Home Oh".

It's sad, really. I reported him, but by the time I finished fighting the parser and using only allowed words in my report message (I can type As Face as long as I don't put quotes around it?), he was long gone.

I went to a pin trading room hoping I could get an invisibility pin for my set of tea cup teleporters. When I finally got a trade the person put the pin up, I put my tea teleporters up, and then when I clicked accept he took it away and put those junk NPC pins up like I wouldn't notice.

It's sad, really. I reported him, but by the time I finished fighting the parser and using only allowed words in my report message (I can type As Face as long as I don't put quotes around it?), he was long gone.

I've found that if you want to quote something you need to use single quotes and include an extra space of padding, like ' this '

Good to report people like that. I've only reported a few times, but I keep it brief. For this person I would just say:

Trying to con with trade. Language: ' example '

Short and to the point.

Same thing I've noticed too. This dude, still a Guest (and yes I know what number!!) has been following me for THREE DAYS. He was in the room the night Yavn gave me my birthday present (an inferno pin-I already had one but took it happily). He then continued to bug and bug and bug me about it. He asked Yavn about 43248923759382 times for a pin, why he couldn't have one, how it was fair he wasn't getting anything etc...

So I figure after that night I'm free.

Nope. He shows up in ALL My private rooms every few hours. I put him on ignore every day.

Today he got a little more bold...

He called me a beach (hahahahah), said I was an "as face", and "up yours"...

I can only ignore so long.

so I sent a report to the VMK staff whose response is:

"When a player is bothering you, you can use the ignore button not to see what they type. Please use this from now on."

I will not be using the report button again...after this event and what happened yesterday. ask if you want to know.

Got a fairly quick response of "We will deal with it."

I don't know. Maybe it depends on who is staffing at the moment.
