My 'favourite' noise experience year to date... I was working in my room at BCV around 8am, and there were several kids playing in the hallway for at least 30 minutes, running and screaming. When the game turned to repeatedly knocking on doors and running away, I went out in the hall and suggested that they find somewhere else to play.
The kids went back to their room next door, and I heard their parents yelling at them that they wanted to sleep in and for the kids to go back outside in the hall! Kids explained that the 'mean lady next door' wouldn't let them, so Dad encouraged all three kids to start kicking the walls and the connecting door as loudly as they could, while he cheered them on.
BCV staff were not impressed with the treatment of their resort by Dad and crew, and came up as soon as I telephoned - the person who answered the phone in the call centre could hear the kicking sounds while I was on the call.![]()
OMG!! You should kicked back! That is just crazy, some people are just not right in the head, who teaches their kids that stuff. Well I suppose we can all rest knowing they won't be going to DW too much longer, they'll be too busy paying for their kids bail when they're arrested for knocking off liquore stores!
We had the louds upstairs from us at CR and I believe after we complained (at midnight when my dh was sick after 3 nights of the elephant rain dance) they quited down that night but made it a point to be even louder the next night. They were literally jumping from the beds to the floor and they were heavy walkers (no big deal, can't do much about that) but the jumping was way out of control. Oh and they threw cigarette butts onto our balcony

One morning we were sleeping in and we could hear a child SCREAMING for about 30 minutes (majory hissy fit) and that was the only time we were woken up in the AM even though we had Chef Mickey's right below us, that one child in the hallway screaming over and over....

We always tell our children to be quiet when we're walking by rooms no matter what time of day, you never know who's enjoying a little nap time.
