Just wondering...

If I would book the TEACH rate at the Dolphin for December via Dreams Unlimited and then AP rates came out for, let's say, the Beach Club---Would Dreams Unlimited be able to get me the AP rate? Would they have trouble with me "playing around" with my reservations once a deposit has been made? Last trip I switched my ressies 3X before I was happy.

Also--Does Dreams Unlimited allow you to split your stay (ie--3 days @ BC and 3 days @ AKL)?

I guess what I am wondering is if Dreams Unlimited is flexible.

TIA
Hentob

Yes very flexible. And you won't get the attitude you would get from a traditional B&M TA when you change your ressies time after time. :) I am planning my 4th trip with them and it has never been a problem to make changes. I usually book my trip 9 months out, way before any room discounts come out, and I have changed my hotel based on the rates. I also changed the last few nights of my reservation from ASMo to AKL and they will just modify the reservation and make a new one for the new hotel. Very easy.

I have to say that I've changed my reservations about 4 times so far and I've lost count of the times my ps's have been changed! And my DU agent Shirley is still in a good mood!!! I just love DU. They've been incredibly helpful. And flexible. When Shirley couldn't get the IllumiNations cruise date that I wanted, I think she was more disappointed than I was. And then she got it for the next night. Quite pleased with herself.

Hi hentob

As others have stated, Dreams Unlimited can be very flexible with changes to your reservation.

I do want to clarify one point, and here's where it may get a little tricky...when you book through DreamsRES (i.e. how you can get a TEACH rate at the Swan/Dolphin) DU is booking directly with that hotel - not though Disney Central Reservations.

What this means to you is, if AP rates are released for a Disney resort and you wanted to switch your reservation you would have to make a completely new reservation. You couldn't just have your deposit switched - as you might be able to if you go from one Disney resort or another. In essence you would have to cancel the Swan/Dolphin reservation, have your credit card credited the deposit monies you paid, and then make a new reservation at the Disney hotel and pay your deposit.

The good news if PS arrangements are made for you under the DreamsRES reservation, they will get transferred over to the new Disney reservation automatically (as long as you are still booking with DU).

Trust me though, it really won't be as complicated as I made it sound.

And yes, DU will absolutely work with you if wanted split your stay among as many hotels as you wish.

Thanks
John
